The Book Of John John 11:10-16

“But if anyone walks in the the night, he stumbles, because the light in not in him.” After saying
these things, he said to them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I must go to awaken him.”
The disciples said to Him, “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.” Now Jesus had spoken of
his death, but they thought that He meant taking rest in sleep. Then Jesus told them plainly,
“Lazarus had died, and for your sake I am glad that I was not there, so that you may believe. Let us
go to him. So Thomas, called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die
with him.”
There’s a Word for that! Kindness

Dear chosen one, as you dress in the morning and put on your clothes for the day, consider
consciously putting on kindness, humility, meekness and patience. Don’t’ leave home without it.

Colossians 3:12 – Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts,

kindness, humility, meekness and patience, bearing with one another, forgiving each other; as the
Lord has forgiven you, so you much forgive.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Blessed be Your name O Lord. You have adorned us
with Your compassionate heart. Please give us the gift

of compassion so that we may put on kindness,

humility, meekness and patience to bear with one
another at school, forgiving each other as You have
forgiven us. Thank You for making us one of your

beloved, holy and chosen ones. Help us Lord to never

forget that we are Yours. May we be an outstanding
ambassador for You on our school campuses. We ask in
the patient and holy name of Jesus. Amen.
