a room making it warm and inviting. Other aromas can improve
emotions and mood.
Our guide gives you many essential oil recipes you can use in your
diffuser for all different situations.
Looking for a blend that will give you energy? We have 10 recipes
you can choose from. Ready for bed? Pick a diffuser recipe from the
diffuser recipes for sleep.
The best way to use this guide is to print it up and place it into a
binder. Keep it near your oils and diffuser, that way there it is easy
to reference and try out all the blends.
My youngest son, he is 10 y/o, loves to make diffuser recipes with

me. He actually gets really excited to try new recipes. We pull out
this guide and pick a recipe that fits the situation or one that
catches our fancy.
Once we know what we want to diffuse, he rounds up all the oils

for me. I help him get the right amount of drops into the water cup
and pour into the diffuser. Then we turn it on and get a whiff of
the aroma to see what we think initially.

How To Use Our
Guide(continued)
The recipes that we have tried, we put a check mark next to on the
guide. The ones we like we star, they ones we don't want to use
again, we X out. That way we can keep track and have a record of
what we have tried. You can even make notes in the margin about
the blend, what it reminds you of, situations it is best to diffuser in,
any tweaks you may want to make for the next time, etc.
You will find in the back of this guide blank diffuser recipe pages so
you can fill in new recipes you have created or ones you have found
and want to try out. See the photo for an example of how to fill in
the blank recipe guide.

over with my scribbled notes of diffuser

this guide and in a recipe binder. Print
up extra copy of the black recipe pages
if you need more. You can really have
fun with this!
Please do not take this guide as a hard guide that must be followed

exactly. Diffusing essential oils can be fun. Maybe you don't have a
certain oil for a blend you want to try, find an oil you can substitute
and see how that comes out. Get creative, have fun and make some
great memories with your loved ones.
What Should I Diffuse?
There are many possibilities for what essential oils to diffuse in

your diffuser. Our guide is filled with all types of recipes you can
try but here is a general guidelines for diffusing oils if you are
new to diffusing.
For a simple start to diffusing oils, pick a single oil. Diffusing a

single oil can be just as powerful as diffusing a multiple oil blend.
Single essential oil diffusing is ideal for work spaces, doctor or

dentist offices, classrooms or other public places. People with
sensitivities or allergies may come in contact with the diffuser
and if you are only diffusing one oil it lessens the chance for
problems.
Here are some favorite single oils to diffuse. Lavender or

chamomile are excellent oils for bedtime or to create a calming
atmosphere. Lemon is perfect for freshening a room or eliminate
odors. Eucalyptus or peppermint to assist with respiratory issues.
Any citrus oil is sure to boost the mood in the room.
You can also diffuse essential oil premade blends that your
favorite essential oil brand offers. This is a quick option,
requiring little thought & time which can be beneficial when you
want to diffuse oils but don't have time to find the oils to create a
diffuser recipe.

Essential Oil Diffuser
Benefits
Diffusers distribute essential oils into the air creating positive effects
on the entire body. Diffusing is an effective method to address
physical, mental, emotional and spiritual issues.
When you breath oil molecules in from the essential oil diffuser, your
amygdala is activated. The amygdala is located in the brain and it
manages your emotions and memories. More than any other sense,
our sense of smell has the ability to change our mood, bring back
memories and ease tension.

wellness.

Essential Oil Diffuser FAQ
What is an essential oil diffuser? Essential oil diffusers are very popular
with aromatherapy and essential oil users. They are an effective way to
experience the health and wellness benefits of essential oils. Diffusers are
a way to get oils into the air so aromatherapy benefits can be enjoyed.
Do I need a diffuser for my oils? Having an essential oils diffuser running

in your home is a must! If you do not have an essential oil diffuser than I
highly suggest you purchase one. This is a really great investment for
your overall wellness.
What type of diffuser do I need? While there are many ways to "diffuse"
essential oils into the air, the main type of diffuser many people enjoy
today are ultrasonic diffusers. For the most part, they are cheap, easy to
use and also humidify the air. Humidification adds moisture to the air, a
great way to eliminate dryness. Ultrasonic diffuser is what you need for
these diffuser recipes. It will cost between $20-$100 depending on style
and brand you buy.
What diffuser do you recommend? Here are three (the middle one are the
same just different colors) that we have had success with and they are
reasonably priced, you can click on pictures if you want to learn more
about them.

How To Use An Essential
Oil Diffuser
Since each diffuser is a little different this is a basic guideline for

general ultrasonic diffuser use and the steps required.
Step 1: Choose an open area in a room or office with a solid

surface or tabletop. You will need a outlet to plug it in. Also, since
water is being used, it is good to have a place mat or towel down if
you are using on a wood surface. For best use, avoid placing in
direct sunlight or near a fan.
Step 2: Fill your diffuser to the fill line of the water reservoir with
clean tap water that is room temperature. Most diffusers have a
fill line on the inside of the water reservoir or a measuring cup to
fill up and then add to reservoir, refer to your diffuser manual for
recommended water amount your diffuser requires. *DO NOT
OVERFILL or your diffuser may not run properly.
Step 3: Next, add 5-10 drops of essential oils to water (or the
amount recommended by your diffuser). You can use a single
essential oil like lavender, an essential oil blend, or one of our
recipes in this guide. Usually 6 drops is enough but sometimes you
may want more oil for a stronger scent. You can experiment with
the essential oil amounts to see what you prefer.
Step 4: Place cap or top of diffuser back on as your diffuser

requires. Turn on. Set which features you would like if your model
has options. Enjoy the aroma!
