Supreme Pupil Government for the school year 2019-2020 held a leadership training at Papaac
Elementary School last August 23, 2019 headed by Ms. Sharmaine A. Junio, the School AP Adviser. The
theme of the leadership training was “Unleashing Your Inner Potential.” The student leaders arrived at
the venue at 7:00 in the morning, SPG officers immediately gather the officers of each organization of
our school to start the program proper schedule for that day.
The participants were overwhelmed by the intermission song number given to us by one of the
SPG Officers. In the leadership training proper, the School AP Adviser was the facilitator of the said training.
She started the training with program engagement followed by the leveling of expectations which
was explained by Shayne Aubrey Manglicmot, the SPG President.
The participants played team building games. After every game, there would be a review
or discussion about the lessons of the game, about what they’ve learned and what were the things that
the participants should be done in order for the activities to be successful. During that event, in every
game there was fun, and in every enjoyment there was a lesson--a lesson that made all the students
politically active and turned into great leaders in their own way. The SPG President said “The
program ended but the knowledge we gained is still in our minds until now, at first we taught being a
leader is easy, but the after the seminar we all realized that it is big job and responsibility that we must
take it seriously with an eagerness to do it truthful”.
