welcome
On behalf of Zimmer Dental and NYU College of Dentistry, I cordially welcome you to the
2011 International Implantology Week. I am honored to have been chosen as Clinical
Chair for this world-renowned implantology symposium. This year we have structured
the curriculum to provide you with the latest implant research findings, techniques and
information in the surgical, restorative and regenerative fields. Together, Zimmer Dental,
NYU and I have put together an exciting group of leading clinicians and industry-
changing lectures.

Like all of health care, dental implantology stands poised on a threshold of rapid
change and essential innovation. Treatment modalities continue to evolve and upgrade.
To ensure your future success and the betterment of your patients, it is imperative to
stay at the forefront of cutting-edge techniques and technologies, through symposiums
such as this one.

It is an exciting time to be a dentist and an implantologist, and to be involved in the field

of Dental Implantology. I look forward to seeing you in New York and to sharing this
exciting symposium with all of you.

Best Regards,
