 2.1 50H Reinforced drive axle
★50H drive axle bevel gear improves the modules and the helix angle of gear pairs.
The increase of modules improves the rigidity and the strength of the gear pair teeth, as well
as the load capacity.
The increase of the helix angle improves the mating coefficient of the gear pair, so that the
meshing surface of the gear pairs is increased.
The operation is more stable, and the load capacity and the service life of the gear pair is

 Bevel Gear
★ The speed ratio of the bevel gear is reduced. The load of
the bevel gear is reduced, as the service life is increased.
★ Increase the thrust bolts on the large spiral bevel gear for axial limit.
After the meshing clearance between the drive spiral bevel gear and the
large spiral bevel gear is adjusted, the axial displacement of the large
spiral bevel gear is limited by the thrust bolts.

★ 50H drive axle differential increases the diameter of the spider (φ28 →
φ32), therefore the strength of the differential is increased, capable to
bear a greater torque.
★ Increase the modules of the axle shaft gear and the bevel gear
(modules 7 → 7.5) so as to improve bearing capacity.
★ 50H drive axle increases the outer spline diameter of the axle shaft so

The quality issues of drive axle as per this year's market feedback are
mainly concentrated on:

1. Oil leakage at the joint surface between the bevel gear and the
axle housing, and the oil leakage at the wheel seal is large
2. Abnormal noise from the bevel gear, while damages at the wheel
edge damage are obviously reduced.

The 50H reinforced axle has been verified through the market, the
fault feedback on the bevel gear has been little. There is tooth beating
phenomenon between the wheel planetary gear and the sun gear.
Combining the advantages of 50H reinforced axle and the previous
50 drive axle, the 50C drive axle is released in 2012. The main
performance characteristics are as follows:

2. The wheel reduction gear of the front axle still adopts the
wheel retarder of the 50 drive axle. The rear axle still adopts
the rear axle of the 50 drive axle. Cost is decreased.
2. Bevel Gear Sealing

 Seal methods when the bevel gear assembly is
coupled to the axle housing assembly. One sealing
method is through seal paper. The advantage is of
good sealing performance, while the disadvantage is
of insufficient anti-aging performance. The paper pad
is prone to aging and corrupting after used for some
time, thereby causing leakage of the sealing surface.

The other method is through silica gel flat sealant.

The advantage is of good sealing performance and
anti-aging performance, with small demand on the
sealing surface roughness, adhesive force strong, so
that the lock bolt can be prevented from loosening.
At present, the company conducts the production as
per 20 sets of machines per month. The effect is being
traced and monitored.
