Robert F. Rennebaum, PE SECOND DECISION AND ORDER

Pursuant to the provisions of G. S. 1508 and Chapter 89C-21 of the North Carolina

General Statutes, and sections .1402 and .1403, Tille 21, Chapter 56 of the North

Carolina Administrative Code by NOTICE OF CONTEMPLATED BOARD ACTION dated

April 17 , 2019, you were notified that the Board had sufficient evidence which supports a

charge of gross negligence, incompetence, or misconduct. You were further advised that

failure to comply with the Decision and Order would result in suspension of the Certificate

of Licensure, immediately as of the date of the failure to comply and violation of the

Decision and Order, and continuing until compliance is shown.

On May 28,2019, the Board by Decision and Order issued a Reprimand; Levied

a Civil Penalty in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) (to be paid within thirty

(30) days of the date of the Decision and Order); and Required Proof, within six months

of the date of the Decision and Order, of passing the Engineering Ethics lntermediate

Course offered by the Murdough Center of Texas Tech University; and

Six (6) months have elapsed since the May 28, 2019 Decision and Order and

Robert F. Rennebaum, PE has not provided the Required Proof of passing the

Engineering Ethics lntermediate Course offered by the Murdough Center of Texas Tech

University Robert F. Rennebaum, PE, violated the conditions of the Decision and Order
by failing to provide the Required Proof of passing the Engineering Ethics lntermediate

Course offered by the Murdough Center of Texas Tech University.

The Board by its Second Decision and Order, hereby Suspends the Enqineerinq

Certificate of Licensure of Robert F. Rennebaum. effective as of November 29 ,2019,

the date of the failure to comply and violation of the Decision and Order, and continuing

until such time as he complies with the Decision and Order by providing the Required

Proof of passing the Engineering Ethics lntermediate Course offered by the Murdough

Center of Texas Tech University and he is notified in writing by the Board that the

suspension has been lifted.

The Board's decision is now final and not subject to appeal
