This paper describes the possible solution for reducing the plastic waste by
increasing the recycling rate of plastic products. Plastic is relatively a new material that is been
developed in the last century. Their applications have grown very fast. As a result many
environmental issues also developed such as global warming, end of life treatment, emission of
toxic gases etc. the percentage of materials that are recycled is very low. This paper covers the
best way of recycling the plastic waste at a very low cost. This project is for recycling the plastic
waste in domestic areas. The existing machine available to recycle plastic is very costly. So in
order to overcome this, a modified form of plastic recycler is been made.

INTRODUCTION
OBJECTIVE
• The main objective of this project is to emphasize the reduced use of plastic and
beneficial management of plastic waste
Research works are going on in recycling of plastic wastes. The main purpose of plastic
recycling is to reduce the harmful effect of it upon earth
PROJECT METHADOLOGY
• Identification of problem
We are giving the input from top and when the plastics come in contact with the shredder blades
the main components of the shredder are its blades. The blades are of special structure and the
edges of the blades are very sharp so that it is easy to cut the plastic. The blades are been places
or fixed on a special shaft that is hexagonal in shape. The central hole of the blades are not
round, they are hexagonal in shape so that the blades gets firmly fitted in the shaft

FUTURE RECOMMENDATIONS
1. In future instead of 1 shaft, 2 shafts can be added for cutting of thick plastics.
2. Here the shredder machine is been actually working by hand power in future more power
motor can be installed so that human effort can be reduced.
3. Here the machine is not automatic and each part is separate, in future fully automatic machine
can be manufactured.
4. in this, micron wire is been wound over the extruding cylinder, In future wires which have the
capacity to produce more heat can be used .
