INTRODUCTION

Bio-magnetism is the phenomenon where magnetic fields are produced by the

living things especially by the human body. Honeybees, birds, sea turtles and several
other species have the ability to perceive the earth's magnetic field and then employ
sense in navigation.

Magnetic crystals have been found in all these organisms - they have also found
in humans. In humans magnetite has been found in the brain, neurons and magnetic
organs such as the pineal gland.

The Bio-magnetism fields of the body, through extremely tiny, have been
measured with techniques including magneto encephalography (MEG) and magneto
cardiograph (MCG). These techniques measure the magnetic fields produced by the
electrical activity in the body. The finding through objective basic research of these of
new non-invasive means of measuring cellular function. This is clinically useful in order to
help guide treatment of the brain and heart.

The physical body is made up of millions of cells, each of which is endowed

with a north and a south pole. The polar attraction between the cells keeps them
attached to one another, firmly. Bio-magnetism is important for the normal circulations of
blood, heat, and air in the body and also to maintain the harmony between the body and
the life force. Besides taking care of the needs of the physical body, Bio-magnetism
also functions as the mind in the living creatures.

Pleasant sensation rule the body when the stock of Bio-magnetism is sufficient or in
surplus. Depletion in its levels leads to pain and misery. The four stages of the mind viz.,
pleasure, pain, peace and ecstasy depend on the level of Bio-magnetism in the body.

magnetic waves. These magnetic waves undergo transformation into pressure, sound,
light, taste and smell, depending on their surroundings.

Magnetism is vital for stars like our sun to form. The earth's Magnetism protects
our atmosphere from harmful radiation. All things in the Universe are the result of an
association of the energy particles. They are classified into living and non-living things
on the basis of sensory perceptions. Non-living things are inanimate objects, endowed
with a shape, but incapable of feeling or perceiving. Living things on the other hand, can
perceive the things around them, being in possession of a mind, think. Magnetism is the
Mighty Divine Fluid, present in all the inanimate and animate things in the Universe,
from the tiny bacteria to man, keeping them working in accordance with the order of
function, in Nature. This is Pranava according to the sages and seers of old.

CHAPTER – I
I. BIO-MAGNETISM IN SCIENCE

1.1 INTRODUCTION TO BIO-MAGNETISM:

A new field of scientific research called Bio-magnetism was evolved alter the major
discovering or magnetic field associated with the flow of electric current in the human body.
The origin of the word bio-magnetism is unclear, but appeared several hundred years ago,
linked to the expression "animal magnetism". The present scientific definition took form in the
1970s, when an increasing number of researchers began to measure the magnetic fields
produced by the human body. The first valid measurement was actually made in 1963, but the
field of research began to expand only after a low noise technique was developed in 1970.
Today the community of bio-magnetic researchers does not have a formal organization, but
international conferences are held every two years, with about 600 attendees. Most
conferences activity centers on the MEG (magneto encephalogram), the measurement of the
magnetic field of the brain.
Bio-magnetism is a combination of two sciences, Physics and Biology. It is the
science where specifically designed magnets and their energy fields are used to affect the
living system -the human body or what it is called the Body electric. There are some basic
physical laws that come into play with the body electric. The body electric is the energy flow

currents and cellular charge values that runs the body and all its function. Bio magnetism
can change and elevate the electrical currents and charges thereby increasing the efficient of the
body's functional metabolism.

1.2 MEANING AND DEFINITION:

In the human body there is constant movement of ions within and outside the cells
as well as across cellular membranes. This electrical activity is responsible for magnetic
fields called bio-magnetic fields, which we can measure using sensitive instruments
placed outside the body.

Bio-magnetism is the phenomenon of magnetic fields produced by living

organisms; it is a subset of bio-electromagnetism. In contrast, organisms use of

magnetism in navigation is magnetoception and the study of the magnetic fields' effects
on organisms is magneto biology. (The word bio-magnetism has been used loosely to

Bio-magnetism is an interdisciplinary field of research that aims to understand,

modulate, image, or repair human organs and tissues with internal or external magnetic
fields. During the last few decades, bio-magnetism has been growing rapidly and its
applications have been extended from diagnosing neuronal or cardiac diseases to
understanding the underlying mechanisms of human brain and heart. The development of
new technologies in the field of bio-magnetism has been led by researchers working in
biomedical engineering and its associated discipline

1.3 MAGNETIC FIELD:

A Magnetic field is concentrated around the ends of magnets. These ends are
called poles. All magnets have two poles: a north pole and a south pole. Opposite poles
attract each other (north and south). Identical poles repel each other (north and north,
south and south).

“Earth is a giant magnet. That's because the planet's core consists mostly of iron.
Earth's magnetic field stretches out and around the planet. It is called magnetosphere.
The field is strongest near Earth's North and South poles.”

To better understand how the body interacts with and responds to magnetic fields,
we must appreciate how much our bodies themselves are electromagnetic. The body's

own internal magnetic fields are generated by the extraordinary amount of internal
electrical activity that keeps our bodies alive. These bio magnetic fields interact with all
of the other magnetic fields on the planet and controls basic chemistry.

ATOMIC LEVEL: Atoms are defined as the smallest element that still remains the
property of that element. Eg: carbon, hydrogen, oxygen.

MOLECULAR LEVEL: Atoms combine to form molecules which can have entirely
different properties than the atoms they contain. Eg: Water, DNA, Carbohydrates.

CELLULAR LEVEL: Cells are the smallest unit of Life. Cells are enclosed by a
membrane or cell wall and in multicellular organisms often perform specific function.
Eg: Muscle cell, Skin cell, Neuron.

TISSUE LEVEL: Tissues are groups of cells with similar functions. Eg: Muscle,
Epithelial, Connective.

ORGAN LEVEL: Organs are two or more types of tissues that work together to
complete a specific task. Eg: Heart, Liver, stomach.

ORGAN SYSTEM LEVEL: An organ system is a group of organs that carries out more
generalized set of functions. Eg: Digestive system, Circulatory system.

ORGANISM LEVEL: An organism has several organ systems that function together.
Eg: Human.

1.5 SENSING OF MAGNETISM :

Scientists have proposed three different types of magneto sensation mechanisms.

One idea is that magneto sensitive animals literally have a compass in their bodies.
Compasses work because their needles are basically magnets that align with the Earth's
magnetic field. Animals also have tiny magnets inside their bodies

1.5.1 MAGNETITE A TINY MAGNETIC PARTICLE:

Tiny magnetic composed of a mineral called magnetite has been shown to

mediate magneto sensation in bacteria. These particles are contained within structures
called magnetisms and are arranged in a linear chain. When they align with the Earth's

magnetic field, they literally rotate the bacterium's body to aim it toward the bottom
layers of the sediment.

Magnetite chains have also been identified in salmon, pigeons, and other animals,
suggesting they may represent a general mechanism of magneto sensation. In these
animals they are found within tiny spaces in the head associated with the trigeminal
nerve, which conveys information about touch temperature, and pain from the face to the
brain. So if this nerve is sensitive to movement of magnetite particles in the head, it
might also convey a sense of the magnetic field.

1.5.2 SENSING MAGNETISM THROUGH ELECTRICITY

Second mechanism that's been proposed to mediate magneto sensation is based on

electromagnetic induction". As electric current can generate a magnetic field, moving
through a magnetic field generates an electric current.

So as an animal moves through the Earth's magnetic field, it generates electric

current. If it could sense that current then it could sense the magnetic field.

Few animals can sense electro magnetism eg: electro sensitive fish like sharks and
rays. Scientists are still testing whether their ability to sense electricity also enables them
to navigate using the Earth's magnetic field.

1.5.3 SENSING MAGNETISM THROUGH LIGHT

The third and final mechanism that's been proposed to mediate magneto sensation
can be generally summarized as: chemistry. A magnetic field can affect certain kinds of
chemical reactions. Specifically, it can affect reactions involving a "radical pair", which
refers to molecules with unpaired electrons. Electrons spin in a certain irection, and
paired electrons normally spin in opposite directions. But unpaired electrons can spin in
either the same or opposite directions. This matters because certain reactions only take
place when the spins are the same, while other reactions take place only when the spins
are opposite Magnetic fields can flip which way the electrons are spinning and therefore
influence the efficiency of those chemical reactions.

Now, there aren't that many chemical reactions taking place the body that meet all
these criteria Crypto chrome, a protein in the eye that senses blue light, the chemical
process by which blue light activates crypto chrome involves the formation of multiple
radical pairs. So the idea is that crypto chrome would be more strongly or weakly
activated by light depending on how the animal is oriented in a magnetic field.

1.6 COMMUNICATION BETWEEN CELLS:

The adult body is comprised of more than 70 trillion individual cells and that's not
counting the millions of bacteria in our gut. Each of those trillions of cells carries out
several thousand metabolic processes every second. In order for that level of complexity
to function smoothly, there must be a great deal of communication between and within
these trillions of cells. Our cells are programmed for this type of communication, and are
able to make changes in a fraction of a second when necessary.

Cells normally go through at least 7.000 chemical reactions per second which is
an indication of the complex and continuous process involved in adaptation. This level of
complexity is beyond the scope of simple biochemistry. By using electromagnetic
stimulation, modern measuring techniques have increased the understanding of
electromagnetic bio communication that makes the coordination of the living system
possible.

The body's electrical activity happens primarily in the cell membrane. It is hugely
important that the cell membrane maintain an appropriate "charge" or voltage. A healthy
cell has a trans membrane potential of about 80 or 100 millivolts. A cancer cell, for
comparison, has a trans membrane potential often as low as 20 or 25 millivolts. When a
cell becomes damaged or sick, the voltage of the membrane drops, causing an increased
voltage in the interior of the cell. When the membrane voltage is low, the membrane
channels cannot function properly, leading to a domino effect of disease causing actions
(or inactions). The cell membrane is there both to protect the contents of the cell and to
act as a sort of gatekeeper - opening and closing channels (like doorways) through which
ions can flow. These channels are sometimes referred to as "pumps.” Cell membrane
itself has a voltage called a "potential" (or membrane potential, or trans membrane
potential). Membrane potential refers to the difference in electrical charge between the
inside and outside of the cell. The channels in the membrane are opened or closed buses
on the polarity of the membrane. When the channels are closed, a cell membrane is at its
resting potential and when it is open it is at its action potential."

Action potential (channel opening) requires electrical activity. During this

process, the electrical potential of the membrane rapidly rises, allowing the channels to

responsible for cellular communication or to activate a cellular process. Muscle cells, for
example, use action potentials as the first step to achieving muscle contraction.

If a cell is injured or otherwise not well, this activity slows or stops. The energy required
by action potentials is relatively small but can be insurmountable for a sick cell.
Applying an external therapeutic magnetic field to the body supports this function by
providing the cell with the energy it is incapable of producing itself

The human body produces complex electrical activity in several different types of
cells, including neurons, endocrine, and muscle cells – all called "excitable cells". As all
electricity does, this activity also creates a magnetic field.

1.7 MAGNETIC ENERGY AND LIVING ORGANISM

Dr. William Pawluk says it this way: The human body floats in a sea of magnetic
fields - those of the earth, moon, sun and other galactic fields. The body is full of
magnetic materials. Every cell and atom of the body is a small magnetic dynamo. The
body's fields, which are very tiny, are measured in devices called SQUIDS. The earth's
field is 100,000 times or more strong than the body's magnetic field. We are so dependent

Honey bees, birds, sea turtles and several other species have the ability to

pigeons and migrating birds are known to use the earth's magnetic field in navigation.
Magnetite crystals have been found in all these organisms-they've also been found in
humans.

external magnetic fields of the earth provide up to 90% of the energy for living beings

from external sources such as the Earth's magnetic field.

Human magnetism normally comes either internally from human metabolism

(oxidative magnetism) or externally from the earth's magnetic fields. The human body
does not make sufficient magnetism to sustain life for long periods of time. For example,
a magnetic field had to be added to space craft for the wellbeing of the astronauts.

There is an electricity flow through human nerves as same as electricity flows

through electric wires. Most of us are aware of the electric impulses in our brains and
those that regulate our heartbeat. Fascia system of connective tissues (crystalline arrays
of collagen fibers) is piezoelectric. This means they generate electric fields when
compressed that's every time the body moves, even when a gland secretes Sheets of these
fascia connectors cover all muscles, organs, and structures of the body. They form a semi
conductive 'electric' network throughout the body. The meridian system runs throughout

Alternative treatment methods such as yoga, homeopathy, massage, chiropractic,

magnotherapy and acupuncture all use these points. There is evidence that the earth's

past 500 to 1,000 years and a full 5% during the past 100 years. The time people spend in
buildings and cars reduces their exposure to the natural magnetic fields of the earth, and
may also interfere with individual health.

1.8 THE AURA: HUMAN ENERGY FIELD

In scientific research it is found that the aura is electromagnetic field of energy

that extends all around our body for about 4-feet (in an average healthy body and appears
to be depleted in case of unhealthy person.

The aura of a person is directly connected to the level of health of the person. A
person is considered to be Health in terms of Physical vitality, mental clarity, emotional
wellbeing as well as highly positive spiritual energies. So a person who is healthy at all
these levels has a bigger and bright aura and vice versa in the case of an unhealthy
person.

Auro is the layer of energy which interconnects all other subtle bodies and also

1.3. 7 LAYERS OF HUMAN AURA

So the tiny electrical impulses in our body results into the formation of a magnetic
field around our body which is actually know as the AURA - electromagnetic field of the
body. Since everything in this universe is made up of the same constituent particles
electron, protons, neutrons etc. that means EVERYTHING HAS AN AURA. Everything
in this physical universe is nothing but energy which connects to everything in the
universe..

All living objects show continuous changes in their aura. A major series of
experiments of a team of scientists coordinated by Prof .Korotkov in St.Petersburg,
Russia, demonstrated that aura of the human body continues to change continuously for
almost exactly 72 hours after clinical death. Among other things, not only the time, but
also the reason for death can be determined on the basis of these changes. It is interesting
to note that in nearly every culture on Earth for centuries people observe a 3 day period

1.8.1 DIFFERENT LEVELS OF AURA:

The Different levels of Aura in the Human energy system as described above here
are different layers in our aura which all constitute known as "Our Subtle bodies",
namely they are called physical body, emotional body, mental body, Spiritual body
and the last is our Astral body. So all in all our aura is made up of 5 basic layers out of
which the physical body vibrates at a relatively lower and denser vibrational rate and the
rest of the f our bodies vibrate at a higher frequency. To sense the rest of the four bodies
with the use of the sensitive electronic equipment like Kalian camera or subtle vibrational
tools like pendulum dowsing etc. or perhaps just train our body and mind to sense, feel,
scan & also see them: Ancient people knew the fact that our mind is more powerful
than anything class in the universe, and so Now Let's look at each of these bodies and all
the information they contain which makes up our aura:

PHYSICAL BODY: Physical body contains all the physical organs and nervous system,
cells, molecules, atoms and so on which are like the building blocks for our physical
existence. These organs carry out the necessary function of our bodies like purifying the
blood and supplying it to the various parts of the body, respiration, digestion etc. For the
survival and proper functioning of this body, need good supply of oxygen as well. Due to
the electrical activity of this level, usually the First layer of our aura is formed and it
appears as a thin milky vibrational energy emanating from our body.

EMOTIONAL BODY: In this second layer of the aura which is known as the emotional
body our emotional responses are stored up namely of love, hatred, jealousy, envy,
forgiveness, loneliness, sad etc. Whenever we encounter something in our physical
reality ie, the physical layer, the conscious mind quickly analyzes the situation on the

second layer of the aura based on our memories, beliefs and experiences and triggers a
response corresponding to the situation which is accessed from our emotional layer. For
example: A person shouts at you, now in your past if you had a memory of your dad
shouting at you and you being the cry baby, sobbing and complaining about it rather than
to change or clarify the situation. As soon as you encounter this situation your conscious
mind quickly access the memories stored in your mental body and triggers a emotional
response to that situation that is either crying & complaining or Clarifying the situation.
Although every memory and the associated emotion over time is shifted from the
conscious memory to the subconscious memory, it's the conscious mind which is
analyzing the situation and triggering the emotional responses in our everyday reality.

MENTAL BODY: In this third layer of the aura which is called the mental body it stores
all our past experiences, memories, and belief patterns. The conscious mind usually
operates on this level. continuously analyzing the situation as per our belief systems.
Memories, past experiences etc and then finally accepting or rejecting the situation. Its
does not changes very frequently and the different memories, experiences and beliefs are
stored in form of small crystalline energy forms which can be observed psychically and
can also access them to reveal the hidden personality traits of a individual. The mental
body stores everything with triggers to quickly activate the emotions (positive or
negative) connected to those patterns which are experienced

SPIRITUAL BODY: This is called the Fourth layer of our aura which is like a giant
storehouse of information of our past. present, future deeds. This is the layer in aura
which stores all our karma, Sanchita & Vanshik.Sanchit karmas are those which have
already committed in our previous lifetimes and now reaping the outcomes of them.
Vanshik karmas are those which are committing in this lifetime and will reap the
outcome in this lifetime or the next depending on the lessons & aim of our life, Whatever
has been done cannot be undone, so need to bear the outcomes of our Sanchita karmas
but with awareness can minimize our negative karmas in our daily life as we live our
lives In Bhagavad Gita, it's said that "Even a negative thought about someone is taken as
a karma" although the degree of that karma is less than the actual action: So positive
thinking and blessing others generates more of positive karmas. And as the saying goes
"Whatever you are feeling inside you will attract outside. By accessing this layer one can
learn about the life lessons and also the degree of positive & negative karmas.

•ASTRAL BODY: This is the Fifth layer of our aura which is also known as the
etheric body or sometimes the etheric double or the etheric template because its its often
seen as the exact blueprint of our physical body. Like human body have a heart, to lungs,
two kidneys in physical body there are same number of organs in our astral body but In a
subtle energy form. Since all energy work is based on top to bottom approach that is
energy follows from a higher end to a lower end.

Even if the physical organ is removed from the physical body. its energy imprint is
always there in the astral body. Most of the healing which is intended to be sent on the
physical body is first received on this layer, the healing is done on the intended parts of this
astral body and then the new energy imprint or the information is transferred down to each
of the lower body till it reaches the physical body. For example in the practice of Psychic

VETHATHIRI MAHARISHI VIEWS ON BIO-MAGNETISM

2.1 INTRODUCTION:

The functions of body and mind make man. The physical structure life force and
consciousness continue through genetics from millions and millions of years and excelled
to a very highest state. The life force is the base for the functions of the body. The body
is the container which holds the life force.

Body is the factory made of Akash particle layers which are made up of billions
and billions of cells. The speedy bio magnetic force makes Akash particles and the cells
hold one another intact and look like a building.

2.2 MEANING:

Millions of life energy particles circulate within the body, each of which is made
up of innumerable Formative Dust particles. The energy particles rotate at very high
speeds, during the course of which the Formative Dust are thrown out, from within the
particles. They transform into magnetic waves, the magnetic field, which fills the body of
every living thing, is called Bio-magnetism. Bio-magnetism takes care of all the
functions of the body. and also transforms into the mind. The life energy particles are the
place of origin of the magnetic waves.

The physical body is made up of millions of cells, each of which is endowed with
a north and a south pole. The polar attraction between the cells keeps them attached to
one another, firmly. Good health prevails only when the quantity of bio-magnetism in the
body is sufficient to maintain the polarity between the cells. In other words the quantity
of bio-magnetism should be sufficient to set right any disturbances that may occur from
time to time. This is important for the normal circulations of blood, heat and air in the
body and also to maintain the harmony between the body and the life force. The quantity
of bio-magnetism should be sufficient at all times and this can be ensured only through
the presence of sufficient life energy particles in the body. The life energy particles
circulate all over the body providing the cells with sufficient energy, at all times. Besides

in the living creatures. The functioning of the body and the bio-magnetism can be

the climate, accidents, transit of the planet whereby they come into conjunction or
opposition with one another, can also bring about changes in the level of the bio-
magnetism that affect the body and the mind adversely. The body is endowed with a
natural ability to correct the problems which is called the "immunity against
disturbance'. But when the problems exceed the levels of immunity, health is
automatically affected.

The four ways in which the body receives bio-magnetism are:

• Food and water
• Air
• The energy waves emanating from the stars and the planets
• The heat waves given off by the earth.

2.3 BIO-MAGNETISM IN HUMAN BODY:

In the human body bio-magnetism functions as:

need to excrete the waste from the body, are the basic needs of man, which have to be
taken care of, periodically. All these activities require the use of the life energies.
2. When the Consciousness functions through the sense organs, life energy is
transformed into sensory perceptions.
3. The transformation of bio-magnetism into electricity and chemicals in the sense
organs produces a sympathetic reaction in the brain cells. During which a certain
quantity of life energy is used up.
4. The attractive and repulsive forces of the cells are maintained with the help of the
life energy.

natural and bio-magnetism is utilised by the body during perceptions, a physical activity;

The system of Physical exercises developed by Shri Vethathiri Maharishi after years of
intense research fulfills the need of maintaining the proper circulation of blood, heat, air,
energy and bio magnetism, ensuring maintenance of health and prevention of disease in a
gentle way. It develops immunity system and thus acts as a preventive and curative to
various diseases.

Thathuvagnani Vethathiri Maharishi has designed a simplified Physical

Every man and woman from the age of 8 to 80 can start their studies by doing this
exercise.

These exercises can be done with slow and smooth movements without giving to
a hasty feeling.

If one is undergone any surgery, can do this exercise after three months of surgery
with the advice of the doctor.

Ladies should avoid doing the exercise during their menstruation period. Pregnant
women (after two months of surgery) should not do the following exercises until

essential for regulating it. The vessels used in cooking are cleaned immediately and kept
ready for future user in the same way, the mind has to be cleaned and kept tidy through
meditation, constantly.

Meditation is a practice undertaken to realize the greatness, characteristics and

functions of Nature. The frequencies of the mind waves are brought down to car-static
levels during meditation, when even the innermost secrets of Nature pre Laid bare before
it. Emotions well up, when the Consciousness is hemmed in by the forces of needs, habits
and selfish considerations, or overcome by the sensations of pleasure or pain. This is the
state of Maya or illusion, the state of total forgetfulness. The mind has to free itself from
the shackles of Maya through the practice of meditation

Noble souls like Buddha, Christ and Prophet Mohammed had realized the Truth
through the practice of meditation, and spread their message of goodwill amongst the
people. All great discoveries are the result of their concerted efforts of the scientists and
philosophers, made when their mind waves were at very subtle frequencies. There are
also other ways to focus the mind, like the chanting of mantras, concentrating on an idol
or a picture, or watching one's breath, as it flows in and out of the body. Some of the
practices take time to produce results, while others come in the way of a normal family
life. Some even preclude women from practicing them.

PRACTICES FOR IMPROVING THE MIND:

All thoughts, words and deeds create imprints, which expand to reflect as
thoughts in the mind and produce further words and actions, in keeping with the quality
of the imprints. The human mind, capable of attaining frequencies ranging from 1-40
cycles/ second, normally works in the range of 14- 40 cycles second. This is the
emotional state of the mind, when it is under the sway of the sensory perceptions. It has
to be weaned away from this state, for which every thought, word and deed has to be
analysed carefully. Realising the greatness of Nature, and living in harmony with it, is
important. This is the purpose of life, the reason behind all human birth. It can be
achieved only when man learns to transcend the lure of the senses, and rid himself of his

mind has to blend with the Divine State. The success achieved by a person depends on
the extent to which his Consciousness has been able to merge with Nature. The human
mind, the greatest of all creation, plays an important part in this, and it has to be realised
fully. A realised mind looks at things differently, its perspectives having undergone a
change. Materialistic outlook gives way to spiritual considerations. All that a person has
to do to achieve this is bring down the frequencies of the mind waves, through suitable
practices. The practice of meditation is ideal for this, because during meditation the mind
remains detached from the senses, and the frequencies come down gradually. The mind,
which is normally beyond the control of the individual, can be regulated through the
practice of Kundalini Yoga.
Meditation is a practice aimed at bringing down the frequencies of the mind
waves to the desired levels, and keeping them there. Just as physical exercises help tone
up the body, meditation helps tone up the mind and strengthens i Meditation is to enlied
process of inner travel, Yogi prayer, chanting to The mind waves can be brought to the
desired levels, by observing the nature of the thoughts at a particular frequency, and
recalling the thoughts. whereupon the mind attains the same frequency, once again.
When the mind begins to transcend the sensory perceptions and observe itself and its
origins, the frequencies come down gradually, to levels below 14 cycles/second. They are
the Alpha, Theta and Delta frequencies, as explained by the scientists. Initially the mind
comes down to 8.13 eyeles/ second, called the Alpha level; this is followed by the Theta
and Delta levels, where it touches 4-7 cycles/second and 1-3 cycles/second respectively.

Attaining the Delta frequency of 1-3 cycles/second is not an easy task; it requires
dedication and diligent practice. Constant practice makes the mind lucid, alert and
pristine in its purity. Honesty, integrity and sincerity become the characteristics of the
individual. Success and happiness follow him everywhere, and the purpose of life is
achieved.

Meditation can be studied and practiced, under the tutelage of the experienced

2.5 BIOMAGNETISM IN LIVING BEINGS

The main differences between inanimate existence and organisms living beings
are recognizable by three additional characteristics in the organism:

1. Ability to perceive through the senses and experience pain and pleasure.
2). Volitional movement and/or travel of self and the ability to move other things as
required and.
3) Pro Creativity to produce offspring which will in turn and pleasure: to move other
things as required and proliferate and perpetuate the species.

In order to comprehend the evolutionary process, one must define the

evolutionary juncture where the first living being originated with suitable physical design
to accomplish the above three special qualities of living beings.

All inorganic matter has universal magnetism, but lacks a circuit arrangement for
an internal flow and circulation of magnetic wave. All have particular chemical qualities

By these two - sided attraction of the earth's gravity and Sun's wave, a regular
path of liquid circulation to move Up and down is conditioned. It is the law of Nature that
the shadow waves are always encircling their energy particles. All such wave particles
create a magnetic path which becomes a circuit of bio-magnetic force. Such

circulation of bio-magnetism makes the molecular and cellular arrangement to

Everything is an association of energy particles, Every particle is in whirling self-
rotation. All particles are constantly spreading their waves Thus every mass is radiating

Such clashes of waves are continuously occurring among all masses of the universe.
Every wave has four more functions; class and inducement of the character is not the
only phenomenon. When a clash occurs, that is reflected. Some portion may be refracted,
some portion may penetrate and some portion may interact between the two concerned
bodies. This applies whether the two are particles, atoms, molecules, cells or any size of
mass.

evolution of one-sense plant life, it took millions of years for a tree to evolve from the
lower forms. By the bio-magnetic wave, all the qualities of a tree are imprinted as genetic
code in its seeds. The pattern, precision and regularity are condensed into shadow
particles in the bio-magnetism of the tree. The magnetic body of the tree is completely
condensed within the seed, infinitesimally. We can compare this with the modern
computer chip. This secret of Nature is the genetic code. All the imprints in the genetic
code gradually magnify into full shape and quality from the sprout and growth. The same
process of forming the genetic code and its physical magnification applies to all living
beings from one to six senses.

There is one more wonderful fact of bio-magnetic relating to the growth of a tree.
If a seed is sown and water is given, it sprouts. First the stem will be seen. The water
vapour and energy particles are drawn upwards by the hot wave of the sun. At night there
is no wave of sunlight A certain quantity of water vapour is then condensed and comes
down by the gravitational force of the earth. As it grows upward, the tree grows
downward as well; this becomes the root. When the tree has grown to a certain height.
The rising force of vapour and energy particles declines. For several days or a month the
vertical growth stops and the two forces get stagnated at a particular point in the height of
the tree. When sufficient force is accumulated, again the growth resumes: However, it
does not grow straight up. By refraction, the force of growth is diversified. As many sides
the stagnated force takes its path, that many branches form in the tree,

PLANTS EXPERIENCE PAIN :

A plant is a living organism with one sense that of touch, as a magnetic centre is
formed in other living beings and becomes a genetic centre to store and carry over its
qualities to the progeny. a plant also develops its own genetic centre by its bio magnetic
circulation. As a plant has its root fixed in the earth (unlike other creatures), the genetic
centre is formed in several appropriate places. That is, every seed of the plant becomes a
genetic centre containing the hereditary qualities.

A plant produces seeds. When a seed is sown or falls on the ground at the proper
time and moisture enters, it sprout. The seed is the genetic centre with the bio-magnetic

(the life-force) and bio-magnetism. It is always in forceful circular motion within the
seed. The water absorbed by the seed becomes vapour, due to the heat produced by the

On the earth there are millions of species ranging from plants to human beings.
The word "species" indicates a specific order of function of Consciousness is working
"specifically" in every particle and in every living being with pattern, precision and
regularity. Wherever pattern, precision and regularity function systematically, we use the
word "specified The word "species" has originated from this. So every species works
with a specific pattern, precision and regularity. A seed is an offspring of a ones sense
being. According to the evolutionary law, every seed has the blueprint of the plant or tree
from which it came in magnetic core, which is the genetic property. If a seed is sown
properly, it will grow as the type of plant from which it came If a seed is not sown in
time or is kept out of touch with earth. it dries up. Within that dried seed a very mall
insect or worm may form later due to the interaction of the life force with air and
moisture. Two sense insects are formed from one sense plant life. Every seed has an
evolutionary pattern of genetic code. Hence an evolved zed will become a particular type
of worm or other small insects. This eventually evolved into a two-sense species with
touch and taste perception. Then, according to its chemical properties and other
ecological principles that creature may later become a three-sense living being such as an
ant a bee, butterfly or ty. So the two sense living being is a worm. the three-sense living
beings are ants lies and other creatures not endowed with eyes and cats Eyes are formed
(but no cars) in snakes and other similar reptiles These are four-sense living beings.
When cars are formed, completing five senses, we have birds and mammals.

2.6 THE PANCHABOOTHAS:

The human body is a factory where the five physical elements function jointly. They are:
1. Akash,
2. Air
3. Fire (Compressed Air).
4. Water (Liquid) and
5. Land (Solid)

These physical elements are called as panchaboothas in the field of Indian

Philosophy. The Tamil word Bhouthigam' had transformed into Boothas. The
panchaboothas are joined in a particular proportion.

The collection of the first physical element is the other four elements. Akash
particles are very tiny ones which revolve themselves. There are some Akash particles
which circulate separately in the living things. These Akash particles are called Life
force. The circulatory individual functioning of Akash particles in the physical body is
called Life force circulation.

In the physical body,

Land is as bones and flesh,
Water as blood,
& Fire as Body Temperature (98.6°F)
Air as respiration,
& Akash as energy particles.

These five elements have different density, Water is lighter than land. Fire than
air. The land is the dense element. Likewise, Akash is the lightest. The five Pancha
boothas are structured according to the law of pattern, precision and regularity in the
physical body. The bones are in the centre. The flesh is stuck to bones: next is blood and
then is body temperature. Then the circulations of air and Akash particles. For example,
there is heavy gold at the center of the earth. The metals like mercury are in the next
level. The minerals like magnesium which is lighter than metals are at the next
level.Water circulation is above it. Then comes air then and Absolute space. Likewise,
Panchabhutas are formed in an orderly manner in the physical body flesh is stuck to

2.6.1 THREE FUNCTIONAL BODIES:

There are three functional bodies.
They are:
(1). Physical body
(2) Astral body
(3). Causal body
PHYSICAL BODY:

The basic form of physical body is cell. (cell-life form, container) The physical
body is wonderfully built up of small cells. These cells are the collection of Pancha -
boothalu. Every cell functions as a chemical factory.

The cells are the basic aspect of physical body as the bricks are the basic parts of
a wall in a building. The bio-magnetism holds the cells intack as the cement holds the
bricks, The cells have a polarized structure as north pole and south pole. The collective
cells are called tissues

The tissues are categorized according to their functions appearances and form.
The bones, tissues, nerves, blood, brain and sexual vital fluid are made up of tissues.
Based on the functions of cells, numerous new cells are appearing. At the same time, the
matured cells are destroyed. Generally the physical structure doesn't seems to be
changing. The physical body has such extra-ordinary quality

ASTROL BODY:

The first physical element Akash particles in the PanchaBoothas. These rotate
individually and make the body function. Such excellent Akash particles are called Life
force, The life force is called Astral body or Subtle body. It is called subtle body because
billions and billions of Akash particles are filled in the body and make it function. These
particles in the body are not understood by the sense organs. As the life force is in the
subtle state in the body, it is called Astral body

CASUAL BODY:

The causal body is made up of minute formative dust particles. Every Akash
particles has numerous formative dust particles. These dust particles have self-rotatory
force. These exit from the Akash particles continuously. Such outgoing dust particles are
called Magnetic Waves. The Akash particles in the physical body of the living things
rotate itself individually. The formative dust particles which come out by this self-
rotatory force create a bio-magnetic field. This bio-magnetic field is called causal body,
This is also called Pranava Body. The physical body, Astral body and Causal body are
the functional factories which function in one another and achieve and protect one
another. Such excellent functional factory is called physical body.

2.7 RELATIONSHIP WITH UNIVERSAL MAGNETISM:

The life energy particles are called "Chinakash and the Formative Dust that are
rejected from the particles constitute Bio-magnetism. The energy particles that fill the
Universe are called Mahakash" and the Formative Dust given off by the particles are
called Universal magnetism. Bio-magnetism in the living being is connected to the
universal magnetism, just as the water in a well is connected to the sea through the
sources that lie below the ground

Fluctuations in the level of bio-magnetism take place in the body Constant flow
of universal magnetism in the body serves to correct the fluctuations. Our body accepts
universal magnetism through certain auto suggestion and actions.

Transit of the planets: The energy waves given off by the planets include change
in the genetic center, depending on their distance, position etc

For linking itself with the universal magnetism the mind has to expand to the
level of the entire universe and meditate, whereupon our life energy gets linked with the
Mahakash that fills the Universe. The mind gets used to expanding at will.

The omnipresent nature of the Divine consciousness becomes evident, followed

by the will and skill to serve others selflessly. When the soul merges with the absolute, it
becomes static and also attains perfection. The purpose behind being born a human is
achieved. This is the path to spiritual emancipation, and meditation forms an integral part
of it.

with a sixth sense, and suitably body and organs" - Vethathiri Maharishi.

2.8 RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MIND , BODY AND LIFE FORCE:

We should clearly understand about the four aspects like body, life force,
magnetism and mind. The physical body is the combinations of five physical elements
(Pancha- Boothas) the earth, water, fire, air and akash. The collection of Akash particles
are the other elements- earth, water, fire and air.

The Akash particles in the living things are called life force particles, The
individual circulation of Akash particles in the living things is called life force
circulation.

The collection of millions of formative dust particles are called Akash particles.
These are called by various names like Dust, Parmanu, Nunnanu, Ether the. Life force
particles rotate by themselves. The speedy rotative dust particles are called magnetism.

Life force particles are very minute dusts broken from the Absolute Space. They
rotate themselves speedily. The imprisoned formative dust particles in the Akash
particles are called Magnetism. These formative dust particles come out of Akash (Life
force) because of its self-rotation force. They dissolve in the Absolute Space and become
the Absolute Space itself. The continuous exit of formative dust particles is called
Magnetic waves.

The formative dust particles which come out of the Akash particles in the living
things are called Bio-magnetism. The formative dust coming out of Akash from the
materials which are away from the living bodies is called Universal Magnetism.

2.8.1 BIO-MAGNETISM AS MIND:

Bio-magnetism also transforms into the mind in the living beings. In the words of
Vethathiri Maharishi 'mind is the psychic extension of the life energy' it is a product of
the waves given off by the life energy particles. The magnetic waves produced by the
Formative Dust, when they are expelled from the life energy particles, transform into the
mind. Mind is not a permanent structure; it is formed from the energy waves that follow
one another in close succession. The mind alone is capable of perceiving the other
transformations undergone by the bio-magnetism into pressure, sound, light, smell and
taste. The bio-magnetism in the living things is functioning as mind. When the bio-
magnetism functions through five senses, we perceive the feelings When it functions
through brain, it is called mind that perceives the above live sensations

The bio-magnetism helps to function the parts of the body. At the same time it
also exits through skin, mouth, eyes, nose and cars. It is felt as the light through eye, hear
the sound through car, smell through nose and taste through tongue: Through the pressure
on the skin, feel the touch. Our mind perceives this pressure, light, sound, taste and smell.

When the bio-magnetism is spent through the brain, it functions as mind. The five
jnanendriyas and live karmendriyas experience the pain and enjoy pleasure. The nature
has given man, the mind which is the greatest? is understood that differences between
living and non-living things is inured to understand what mind is, Mind exists only in
living things.

2.8.2 THE LIFE ENERGY:

The life energy, which circulates within the body of an individual, comes into
existence when the ovum in the female parent is fertilised by the sperm of the male Life
energy circulation commences from the moment fertilisation takes place and continues
through every stage of the growth and development of the fetus into a full-fledged human
being. The circulation goes on til the death of the individual. The lifespan of a person is
calculated on the basis of the life energy circulation. No one can predict when it will
come to a stop, even though everyone knows that it will someday. Death is certain, only
the day remains a mystery. Every one of us has arrived here with a confirmed return
ticket the date on which is never revealed to us. A man can however live to a maximum
of 120 years, by augmenting the life energy circulation, through certain practices It is
therefore essential to know about the life energy and the ways to increase its circulation
in the body

2.8.3 THE GENETIC CENTER:

The container for the sexual vital fluid is situated at the center of the physical
body. The life energy particles circulate with this point as their center. The bio-
magnetism that circulates within the body produces a vortex, which is also situated here.
This point, which is the center for both the life energy particles and bio-magnetism
circulating in the body, and also contains the sexual vital fluid, is called the Genetic
Center. During the initial stages of a human life the life energy circulation with the brain
as its center, but with the attainment of puberty, it moves down to the Mooladhara
Chakra, and further circulations take place from here.

A gradual reduction in the speed of rotation of the life energy particles brings
them closer together. When the individual attains puberty, the production of the sexual
vital fluid increases, and the excess fluid flows down from the brain, through the spinal
cord, to the container in the genetic center This is the seminal fluid. The genetic center
therefore has three important components namely:

1. The vortex for the bio magnetic circulation

2. The center for the life energy circulation
3. The excess sexual vital fluid.

The imprints of the deeds and experiences undergone by the living creatures,
from the time of the first unicellular organisms that lived on this planet, to man, who
lives on it today, are contained in the genetic center.

2.9 TYPES OF MEDITATION:

Nine types of meditation are practiced under the system of Simplified Kundalini Yoga.
They are:

(1). Agna Meditation.

(2). Shanti Yoga,
(3). Thuriya Meditation
(4). Thuriyatheetha Meditation.
(5). Panchendriya Meditation.
(6). PanchaBoothaNavagraha Meditation.
(7). Nine Center Meditation
(8) Nithyananda Meditation
(9). Divine State Meditation

The meditation is commenced by focusing the mind on the life energies, the
purpose of which is to free the mind from the senses and bring down the frequencies of
the mind waves. This is followed by mediation on the Divine State, the source of the life
energies. It is a long journey where the Guru guides the aspirant through every step till
the Divine State stands revealed to him

Blood circulates within the body with the heart as its center, and air circulates
with the lungs as its center Mooladhara Chakra forms the center for the circulation of life
energy in the body. The first step in Kundalini Meditation is raising this center from the
Mooladhara Chakra to a point between the eyebrows, whereby the aspirant can feel the
movement of the life energy in his body.

BRIEF EXPLANATION ABOUT NINE DIFFERENT TYPES OF MEDITATIONON:

1). Agna Meditation: The life energy, situated in the Mooladhara Chakra, is raised to a
point between the eyebrows. when its presence in the body becomes evident The
Pituitary gland is activated during meditation.

2). Shanti Yoga: The life energy is brought back to the Mooladhara Chakra, for
purpose of meditation.

3). Thuriya Meditation: The life energy is raised to the crown of the head for
meditation purpose. The Pineal gland is activated during meditation.

4). Thuriyatheetha Meditation: The life energy transcends the body to blend with the
universal field. It then travels further to become one with the Static State.

5). Panchendriya Meditation: Meditation on the five sense organs, viz. skin, tongue,
nose, eyes and ears for regulating them and conserving bio-magnetism.

6). PanchabhoothaNavagraha Meditation: Meditation on the five states of matter,

viz. earth, water, fire, air and Akash, as well as the nine planets, viz Sun, Mercury,
Venus, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn. Rahu and Kethu, for establishing harmony with
the planets and warding off any ill effects

7). Nine Center Meditation: Meditation on the seven Chakras or energy centers,
vizMooladhara, Swadhisthana, Manipura, Anahata, Vishuddhi, Agna a nd Thuriya,
within the body, besides the universal field and the Static State.

8). Nithyananda Meditation: It involves spreading the bio-magnetism all over the
body during meditation.

9). Divine State Meditation: Recapitulating the transformations undergone by the

Divine State culminating with man, and becoming one with it.

2.10 THE BENEFITS OF MEDITATION:

A reduction in the frequencies of the mind waves makes it tranquil.

The ability to concentrate improves the mind become keen. Integrity and honesty
become the qualities of the individual.

Sensory perceptions and the working of the mind are halted during meditation, as
result of which bio-magnetism is conserved. For example, water in a vessel that is heated
over a fire is converted into steam and escapes from the vessel, leaving the vessel empty,
after some time. but if the steam is collected, cooled and taken back to the vessel through
pipes, the level of water in the vessel does not deplete as is it normally does. In the same
manner, when the mind remains focused on the life energies during meditation, Bio
Feedback takes place and bio-magnetism is conserved. The qualities of Perspicacity,
Magnanimity, Receptivity, Adaptability and creativity are improved.

The Four steps in meditation designed by our forefathers are:

L PRATYAHARA: The mind is freed from its involvement with the senses and the
external objects.

2. DHARANA: The mind is focused on a specific objects or idea, in total awareness.

3. DHYANA: The mind is brought to a focus on the life energy from which it has
Originated.

4. SAMADHI: The mind perceives the Divine state, as explained by the Guru, and
becomes one with it

The aspirant is able to feel the movements of the life force, immediately after
initiation. The three aspects of Yoga practices, vizPratyahara, Dharana, and Dhyana form
a part of Agna meditation. The Consciousness is able to exercise mastery over the senses,
freeing it from the lure of sensory pleasure.

2.11 TYPES OF SENSATION :

Man survives with the use of a variety of commodities, besides the help and
goodwill of the people around him. All activities in the life of a living thing take place
with the help of bio-magnetism, which undergoes transformation into pressure, sound,
light, taste and smell, during the process. Besides these, it also undergoes transformation
into the mind in man. The change in the rate of transformation of bio-magnetism within
the sense organs is cognized by the mind as sensations of pleasure, pain, peace or ecstasy.
People are familiar with pleasure and pain, having gone through the sensations many
times in their lives, they often are unfamiliar with the other two, viz. peace and ecstasy.
All living things, including man, seek pleasure, but lasting pleasure very often remains
beyond him. He keeps struggling between the short-lived sensations of pleasure and pain,
unable to transcend them and find pence, on account of his actions. Once he learns to find
peace, ecstasy comes within casy reach. This is perfection, the state of Nirvana. Let us
now take a look at pleasure, pain, peace and ecstasy, in detail.

PLEASURE:

All actions undertaken when the level of bio-magnetism in the body is sufficient or in
surplus, or when the functions of the body, including the circulation, are normal, yield
pleasure. In other words, all deeds that are in harmony with the needs of the body and the
mind generate pleasure. All living things in the world feel pleasure or pain, depending on
the nature of their actions, but man alone is capable of transcending these two sensations,
to find peace or ecstasy. "Just as mounds and depressions make the ground, crests and
troughs called pleasure and pain, make the sensations" -Vethathiri Maharishi.

PAIN:

When the transformation of bio-magnetism exceeds the levels that can be

tolerated by the cells in the body, it produces a short circuit which is recognised by the
mind is pain or misery. Pain is born of excessive pleasure. which the body is unable to
tolerate. Man, having been used to a variety of inessential things, longs for them and feels
miserable, when deprived of them. His pursuit of material comforts often meets with
resistance or disapproval of the others, which leads to anger of misery: Poverty, diseases

and the five cardinal sins are often the result of his desire for the inessential things in life
This should be avoided, for which measure and method in all actions is important.

PEACE:

Peace and ecstasy can be obtained only if the nature and origin of pleasure and
pain are understood, and the mind leans to transcend these ephemeral sensations. Peace
reigns when the level of bio-magnetism is sufficient, the consumption is normal and the
functions of the body are also normal and harmonious

ECSTASY :

Ecstasy is the lasting pleasure the mind derives, when its frequencies come down
to very subtle levels to become one with the Divine State, and the presence of the
Absolute in all the things becomes evident For example. when a flower is seen as a
manifestation of the Absolute, where the glory of the Divine is seen reflected in every
aspect of its beauty, the mind attains tranquility and becomes one with the Divine. The
mind travels back to its origins, the Divine Consciousness. It finds peace and this peace
transforms into ecstasy Pleasure and pain manifest in the frequencies of 14 40 cycles /
second. It transforms into peace at the level of 8-13 cycles/ second. At the level of 4-
cycles second, the mind becomes one with the universal field.When it comes to the
frequencies of 1-3 cycles/ second, the mind merges with the Static State. Pleasure, pain,
peace and ecstasy are the four states of the mind, and all thoughts, words and deeds
should be regulated on the basis of the sensations of pleasure or pain it produces. Man
should learn to live in harmony with Nature, in keeping with his needs and the
circumstances

SPECIALTIES OF THE SIXTH SENSE:

• Producing things capable of enhancing physical prowess.

• Making proper use of such instruments.
• Replicating the beauty of Nature.
• Earning, saving, and sharing for alleviating the pain of the others.
• Garnishing the food and making it tastier

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SIXTH SENSE:

Culture has evolved from the attempts of the wise and noble persons to correct the
erroneous deeds of the people, bom of needs, habits and circumstances, through a process
of erudition and counseling. It is the responsibility of man, with his sixth sense to
propagate it for the benefit of all, and achieve the purpose of life.

GREATNESS OF MAN:
Man with his sixth sense, which is capable of understanding the imperceptible
phenomena that lie behind the manifested Universe, occupies a position which is unique
amongst the lions of organisms that inhabit the planet Earth. He alone is capable of
showing compassion, which wells up within him, when witnessing the pain and suffering
of the others. He has invented instruments that have enhanced his powers and learned to
live well. putting to good use his experience and the resources available in Nature. He
has learnt to replicate the even in Nature to his advantage, besides realizing his Self in an
attempt to achieve the purpose of life. He stands above the other creatures on account of
his knowledge and skills. He alone is capable of realising the Divine State, which has
undergone transformation into all the things, including the 'Self within him. On account
of all this, he definitely is superior to even the Divine State, according to Vethathiri
Maharishi.

2.12 IMPORTANT FEATURES IN A LIVING BEING:

The mind in a living being cognises sensory perception, and experiences them in
the form of pleasure or pain. The eight special features that distinguish a living thing are:
• Physical Body: It is the result of a holistic combination of the Panchabhoothas.
The hands and the legs are the limbs, and the mouth, anusetc, the organs in a living thing.
• Life Energy: It is made of the free energy particles which circulate within the
body of a living being.
• Bio-magnetism: The Formative Dust, given off by the life energy particles during
the course of their circulation within the body, is bio-magnetism.
Genetic Center: It is the vortex created by the circulating bio magnetism, and is
situated at the center of the physical body
• Brain: It is situated in the head, and perceives the transformations undergone by
the bio-magnetism in the sense organs, in the form of pressure, sound etc. through the
agnetic field. It also perceives the activities of the Karmendriyas, through the same field.

• Soul: The imprints of all the actions undertaken and undergone by the living thing
are retained as permanent records in the genetic center. It also contains the imprints of the
earlier generations, passed on through heredity, in the form of similar records. The
genetic center, with all the imprints, is the soul in a living being.
• Mind: It is the peripheral consciousness in a living thing. The bio magnetic waves
in the body of an organism, perceive the changes in the bio-magnetism in the sense
organs into the Tanmatras, and transfer them to the genetic center. with the assistance of
the rain cells. The imprints reflect as thoughts subsequently in the mind In. accordance
with the needs and the circumstances.
• Senses: They are five, viz the skin, tongue, nose, eyes and the ears.Which cognise
the transformation of magnetism into pressure, taste, Smell light and sound respectively.

Every living thing is endowed with the eight features, and the absence of even
one of them makes it a non-living things. Whereas the other living things are endowed
with sense organs ranging from one to five, depending on its level in the evolutionary
scale, man is gifted with six senses, which puts him on a par above the other creatures
Millions and millions of organisms live on the planet on the land in the waters and the
skies, the products of the evolutionary process that has been going on through the
centuries.

GREATNESS OF THE SIXTH SENSE:

• It exists beyond the five senses, common to all the living things.
• The ability to reckon in terms of force, volume, time and distance.
• The ability to contemplate
• The ability to plan.
• The ability to realise the feelings of the others,
• The ability to probe into the reasons behind anything.
• The ability to share experience of pleasure and pain and advise the others

2.13 BIOMAGNETIC CENTRE AND PRESENCE OF SOUL:

The characterized bio-magnetic centre of a human being is the "soul" The human
soul journeys two roads with its imprints. During one's lifetime. one's soul is born within
one's children. All one's imprints are copied into every progeny: all the parental imprints
are given as the hereditary capital to the offspring and continue on to all the future

generations. The second road is taken after leaving the body at death: as a magnetic wave
form the soul may get attached and work through any living person of similar character.
The concept of reincarnation that the disembodied soul will enter into the womb of
pregnant woman is mistaken. This is an ancient concept of mankind which originated in
the primitive age. In fact, when conception occurs, a soul comes into being
with all the imprints of both parents: All the imprints and qualities of a tree are
genetically coded in its seeds. Similarly, according to the genetic imprints in the parent
chromosomes the bio-magnetism starts building the human body appropriately, according
to its specification.
Let us consider some other aspects of human life. To maintain the metabolic
routines of the body, the bio-magnetism is being transformed into mechanical, electrical
and chemical phenomena. The metabolic routine covers the maintenance of all functions
necessary to the body by converting food, water and air into seven types of materials, i.e
juice (digestive), blood flesh, fat, bone, marrow and sexual id. The physical body seems
to be a permanent or solid structure. This is s only illusion really it is a temporary and
quickly passing incident in time. By the mighty force of the universe millions of living
beings are bom and die every minute on Earth. Almost every living being which was
alive one hundred years ago is now gone. disappeared. Now a renewed world is seen with
very recently arrived living beings.
Similarly, innumerable particles, atoms, molecules, cells and tissues of the body
are lost every moment and new ones are substituted. In the midst of this constant
fluctuation, the present stock is perceived as a stable, solid physical structure. A portion
of that which was in the body yesterday has gone. It is as a river: it appears to be
permanent. But the fact is that the water one saw a moment ago has gone; new water is
flowing in its place. Unless one's thought is directed and dedicated to go to the depth of
understanding. one conditioned with the illusory perceptions of the senses.

THE ROLE OF BIO MAGNETISM IS PERCEPTION :

By the centripetal force of the Earth, one's body loses a bit of every part, every
minute. This lack is substituted only by assimilation and conversion of various nutrients
carried out by the bio-magnetism through its physical transformation into pressure,
sound, hear taste, smell and mind. In this physical transformation of bio-magnetism a
small surplus of pressure, sound, heat, taste and smell are always being eliminated from
the body through their respective sense organs. Such conversion and the surplus

elimination provide the basic feeling of existence to the consciousness through the mind.
This basic standard of feeling is subject to be altered at any moment according to the
environmental and atmospheric changes, which affect the physical transformation of bio-
magnetism.

During the lifetime, every living being is swimming in the ocean of universal
magnetism. So everyone is subject to be affected by the characterized waves of both
universal and bio-magnetism at all times. Every such effect by the clash of waves induces
the bio-magnetism of the living being to raise its conversion level to that of the clashing
wave. When the external clashing wave is weaker it is unnoticeably submerged into the
bio-magnetism, yet has its proportionate effect. This principle can be illustrated
by the following simple example.

Every perceptional experience affects one's bio-magnetism. In may begin to eat a

sweet cake which has ten 'degrees of sweet taste. At that moment the basic level of
feeling is only one degree. When one's tongue touches the cake, the higher sweet of the
cake induces the bio-magnetism to raise its conversion to ten degrees of sweet level. To
further illustrate, here is another example: Immediately after eating the cake, one may
drink a cup of sweetened coffee with the sweetness level at five degrees. The sugar in the
coffee cannot be perceived, it tastes bitter. After waiting for five minutes, if the same
cofFee is drunk by the same person, its sweetness can be perceived. Why? The sugar
content was not altered in the coffee. After one finished catting the cake, the conversion
level of bio-magnetism began coming down to reach its basic level of one degree. When
the five degrees of sweet college is drunk at any level of the bio-magnetism between ten
and six in its reducing process, one cannot perceive the lesser sweetness But when the
coffee is drunk after the bio-magnetism reached the conversion level between four and
one degrees, the sweet in the coffee (which is five degrees) can be enjoyed That is only
an accelerated degree which is more than one's present standpoint of feeling can be
perceived. Anything which is giving radiation. vibration or clash of wave of pressure,
sound, heat, taste or smell which is less than that of one's standpoint of sensory feeling
cannot be perceived.

As a similar experience of acceleration, if a polarity disturbance or any level of

short circuit occurs in the cells it is felt as pain. If this acceleration releases only one

surplus of bio-magnetism through the senses, it is felt as a pleasure, provided that

particular sense is able to tolerate such a level of conversion of bio-magnetism. When
there is no pain or pleasure and the charge, stock and consumption of bio-magnetism are
normal, one feels peaceful. Only in the peaceful state mind is able to deeply think about
self and the wonderful evolution and functions of universe By such contemplation, the
mind feels ecstasy. Similarly, one can think of examples to understand the effects of
inducement by Sound, light, smell and touch and the varied experiences of pain, pleasure,
and peace. Through knowing the realities and providence of Nature one reaches the
culmination of knowledge which will result in self-awareness and philosophical wisdom.

The basic standard degree of conversational level may vary from time to time and
from one person to another according to the hereditary qualities. Planetary changes,
environmental conditions and habits. There are differences in the basic standard levels of
conversion of bio-magnetism between species also; certain perceptions which man
cannot have can be had by other things perceived

2.14 PHILOSOPHY OF BIO-MAGNETISM

"Name and fame are theirs, who diligently, Employ their sense of taste,
sight, touch, sound and smell" - Kural 27

It is important to know about the qualities and functions of bio- magnetism.

Man usually becomes a slave to sensory pleasures, indulging indiscriminately in them,
paving the way for pain and miseries. A deep analysis will reveal that all pleasures are
only ephemeral, and unmitigated pleasures only lead to pain. A piece of sweet, while
providing pleasure also gives the wrong impression that the pleasure has come from it.
This is not correct; the pleasure comes from the changes undergone by the body, the
transformation of bio-magnetism that has taken place within the body, due to the
action of the sweet. "Pleasure is a part of Nature, but pleasure is in excess, beyond the
permissible levels, transforms into pain"

III. UNIVERSAL MAGNETISM IN SCIENCE

3.1 INTRODUCTION:

The Universe contains billions of galaxies, each containing millions or billions of

stars. The space between the stars and galaxies is largely empty However, even places far
from stars and planets contain scattered particles of dust or a few hydrogen atoms per
cubic centimeter. Space is also filled with radiation (eg, light and heat), magnetic fields
and high energy particles (eg. cosmic rays).The Universe is incredibly huge. It would
take a modern jet fighter more than a million years to reach the nearest star to the Sun.
Travelling at the speed of light (300.000 km per second), it would take 100,000 years to
cross our Milky Way galaxy alone. No one knows the exact size of the Universe: the
visible Universe is at least 93 billion light years across. (A light year is the distance light
travels in one year - about 9 trillion km.) The Universe has not always been the same
size. Scientists believe it began in a Big Bang, which took place nearly 14 billion years
ago. Since then, the Universe has been expanding outward at very high speed. So the area
of space is billions of times bigger than it was when the Universe was very young. The
galaxies are also moving further apart as the space between them expands.

From studying the movement of galaxies, it has been discovered that the universe
contains much more matter than I accounted For by visible objects: stars, galaxies,
nebulas and interstellar gas. This unseen matter is known as dark matter (dark means that
there is a wide range of strong indirect evidence that exists, but we have not yet detected
directly).

3.2 MEANING AND DEFINITION

UNIVERSE:

For the laymen: In terms of reality, universe can be understood as a system

consisting of everything that you see by yourself and that you don't but which do exists.
You live on earth, earth is a part of a bigger system which is a part of further bigger
system and it goes on Universe consists all these smaller systems. In literary terms, it can
be regarded as worldly surroundings which you are a part of even if you realize or not.

For the people understanding science: The Universe contains all of space and time
and its contents, which includes planets, moons, minor planets, stars, galaxies, the
contents of intergalactic space and all matter and energy.

3.3 COSMIC MAGNETISM:

Cosmic magnetism refers to the magnetic fields of our universe, which are
present in planets, stars, galaxies and the universe at large. They play a major role as
without a magnetic field around our planet to protect us from cosmic radiation, life would
not be possible on earth.

3.4 UNIVERSAL MAGNETIC FIELD:

Our entire Milky Way galaxy is also a magnet. Just like for the Earth, The Milky
Way's magnetism is produced by electrical currents. But while the Earth has a molten
core to carry these currents, our galaxy's magnetism is powered by uncounted numbers of
electrons, slowly drifting in formation through space.

First, the Milky Way's magnetism is unimaginably weak, around a million times
weaker than the Earth's. Instead of having a single north-south pole, there is seemingly a
separate magnet in each spiral arm of our galaxy's glowing pinwheel: different galactic
neighborhood have their own local definitions of north and south

Magnetism is vital for stars like our sun to form. The Earth's magnetism protects
our atmosphere from harmful radiation. And cosmic magnets generate energetic high-
speed particles which, on arrival at Earth can cause random genetic mutations and hence
drive evolution The big challenge is that magnetism is invisible: point a powerful
telescope at a cosmic magnet, won't see it. Instead, we use indirect approaches, relying on
the fact that background light is subtly changed as it passes through magnetic regions of
foreground gas.

Magnetic fields occur as regulatory forces in galaxies. They determine, for

example, whether stars cluster in spiral arms or are grouped in an elliptical fashion.
However, magnetic fields also influence the flow of matter into a black hole at the heart
of a star system. Astronomers can now study in greater detail how the magnetic fields in
galaxies of the younger universe evolved over time and became strong enough to unfold
these effects. An international research team led by Sui Ann Mao from the Max Planck
Institute for Radio Astronomy in Bonn has succeeded in measuring the magnetic field in
a galaxy 4.6 billion light years away.

MERCURY :

Earth and Mercury are the only planets in our system whose magnetic fields are
generated by the movement of liquid metal at their cores. Mercury's magnetic field is 100
times weaker than Earth's. It's billions of years old and recently discovered data suggests
that it was at one point as strong as Earth's

VENUS :
While Venus does not have a magnetic field, likely because of it's extremely
slow rotation rate at about 243 Earth days, it's still protected from solar winds using a
different type of magnetism. Its upper atmosphere, the ionosphere, interacts with solar
particles and acts like a magnetic version of a comet's tail or a magneto tail. The magneto
tail of Venus is shaped like the tentacle end of a jellyfish and faces away from the sun.

MARS :
Mars does not have a conventional magnetic field--one that is generated by
movement at its core. Instead, Mars has powerful magnetic crustal fields that create fields
of magnetism if situated correctly on the surface. To create the protective bubble, the
magnetic lines have to connect at two points. Some of these magnetic domes are
powerful enough to help maintain what is left of the vulnerable atmosphere on Mars.

JUPITER :
Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, also has the largest magnetic field,
generating a magnetosphere larger than the Sun. It's magnetic field is generated by its fast
rotation of 9,8 Earth hours. Unlike Earth Jupiter's magnetic field is not generated from its
core but by interactions in it's outer core, which consists of liquid metallic hydrogen.
Jupiter's core is likely made of dense, molten liquid although we can't be sure at this time.

SATRN :

Saturn is one of the only planet whose magneto nel line up with its axis of
rotation. Its field is generated by liquid metallic hydrogen, circulating a rocky cord Its
core i hunted by gravity pulling helium toward the core and its rapid rotation at about 10
Earth hours.

URANUS :

The magnetic field of Uranus is little more complicated than the other planets.
Uranus magnetic field tilts dramatically and does not align with the rotation axis by about
59 degrees. The magnetic field also runs off center through the planet. Because the
magnetic field is oil contour, in some places Uranus has two poles while elsewhere it has
four. Uranus meet the two usual requirements for a magnetic field with a rotation period
of about 18 Earth hour and electrically charged convection currents near the core

NEPTUNE :

Neptune's magnetic field is generated within the planet's interior. Like Uranus,
however, Neptune's magnetic field is significantly off-center and tilted away from its axis
of rotation. Because the magnetic field line is offset, scientists believe that Neptune, like
Uranus, has magnetic or electrical interactions occurring closer to the surface of the
planet. If the magnetic field were generated at its core, the magnetic field would be more
likely to go directly through the center of the planet as it does for Earth or all of these
natural magnets, the Earth's magnetic field is the most important to our existence. If Earth
didn't have a magnetic field, we would be in trouble. The magnetic field protects us from
harmful radiation from the Sun and helps keep our atmosphere from leaking into space.

3.5 THE MAGNETISM AN ESSENTIAL POWER OF UNIVERSE:

Scientists are aware of only four physical forces of the universe. The one most of
us know best is gravity it holds us here on the Path. Then there are two that govern what
happens within atoms the strong and the weak nuclear interactions. The fourth is
electromagnetism, the force that holds matter together. Each of these forces is
nescapable. Each is indispensable to the workings of the universe

This universal life force was believed by many philosophers, researchers and
scientists throughout history to permeate the entire universe and everyone and verything in
it. Many of the world's top scientists and researchers of today still believe in the existence
of what has most commonly been referred to in physics as the aether, for want of a better
word.

Many people may mistake the concept of aether as being some kind of gaseous
substance, although the theory of what acther actually is, much more subtle in nature. The
proposition of a superfluid primordial life force energy has always remained a highly
controversial topic within the scientific community

This universal life force has been given many different names over the years by many
different people and there is also a wide myriad of both medical and spiritual practices
which are entirely based on the concept. Such names given to this hypothetical
phenomenon include Chi, Prana, Orgone (DOR/POR), Od (Odic force). actress and more
recently. Zero Point Energy (ZPE). The concept of Chi is used in many martial arts and in
many medicinal practices including acupuncture. Reiki is another alternative medical
practice which also relies on the concept of universal life force.

The concept of a universal primordial ether could be considered to be the

hypothetical atmosphere of the entire universe: a medium which allows for the
transportation of electromagnetic waves thereby enabling communication, without which
we would not be able to send radio waves. Without this enabling super fluidic substance,
we wouldn't be able to tune into radio stations, broadcast television shows or even be able
to speak to each other, as there would be no way for the sound waves to travel.

3.7 THE DISCOVERY OF LIFE-FORCE

Most people do not know that around us there is a tremendous life force, an ocean
of life-energy. Just like a fish lives in the ocean, from the ocean and within the ocean,
where all live in, from and within this energy field: This great ocean of life-energy is a

radiant, vibrating power that gives life to every living thing, that makes the ants move, the
birds fly, the bumble bees sting you, the flowers grow. It is the One Life-Force that
permeates all Creation, all the Seven Great Planes of Being from the subatomic particles
of the Physical World to Nirvana and beyond.

3.7.1 THE SCIENCE OF USING THE LIFE-FORCE :

The ancient Warriors were focused on how to discover the life-force and use it. In
China, there were two great warrior schools: the Shaolin Monastery and the Wudan
Monastery. In the Shaolin School they used the life-force to strengthen the power of the
physical body. In the Wuhan School they developed miraculous powers like flying
through the air by tapping into the subtle psyche regions of the life-force.

In India the yogis used the life-force for many purposes: to levitate, to perform
miracles, to heal. And the ancient Hebrew Kabbalists used the same life-force, calling on
the names of God, because to them a divine power was an expression of a name of God. In
the Tibetan Bongo arts and in Chinese. Taoism, and in the Mystery Schools of all the
ancient races, they were after the same secret: how to expand their life-force and be able to
do more. express themselves more, live more and be more: how to use the life force to
evolve and progress spiritually

And then came the Piscean Age During the Inst 2.160 years people forgot about
that science because they were focused on internal illumination, escaping from the lower
worlds, the physical, psychic and mental dimensions into the purely spiritual heights of the
Buddhic Plane and the Nirvanic Plane, where miraculous powers are not necessary. Since
the emphasis was on escaping, naturally the science of using the life force in this lower
Creation was forgotten.

But now in this Aquarian Age, which is the complete opposite of the Piscean Age,
the science of using the life-force is going to be revived. And we are starting that revival.
It will be a science again in this age, which is practical and down-to-earth, and it will
develop the body, the mind, the emotions, the total personality. It will be taught to
increasingly larger numbers of people until it becomes a major science about how to
extend the life-force and how to invoke the Divinity in manifestation, not in abstraction in

the Buddhic World or the Nirvanic World you meet God-Transcendent,the Transcendental
Deity; but when you bring the Life-Force down to the personality level, you meet God-
Immanent. God-in-Incamation, the aspect of God that is right here with us.

This knowledge will increasingly come to be rediscovered over the next one or two
hundred years, and people working in Hatha Yoga, Tai Chi and other esoteric exercise
systems will especially understand that it is not the physical exercises that are important:
the real goal is to awaken the life force and to be able to use it. For self-evolution, for
evolving intelligently and consciously from point A to point B.

In other words, this will become a science of self-evolution, and as part of that, the
evolution of Humanity, because nobody is an island, as you know. If a person attains a
skill or a degree of mastery over anything in life, they make that possibility available to all
of Humankind.

For example, if you take a kitten away from its mother and other cats, it will still
lick its fur and sharpen its claws and behave like a cat as if it had undergone training for
years. It will know how to catch a mouse, how to do everything an adult cat does, without
any instruction. What this shows is that within the subconscious mind of the cat, the whole
plan of being a cat is already programmed, because other cats did those things before.

The lesson here for human beings is that when a person discovers something or
leams to do something, that knowledge gets transferred to the human subconscious mind
and becomes common to the human family. That is to say, whatever humans have done in
the past is already within our subconscious mind but it has to be awakened.

3.8 The Magnetic fields:

Immediately after the Big Bang, the universe contained an awesomely hot cloud
of electrically charged protons, electrons, helium and lithium nuclei. Each could produce
magnetic fields in every direction, but these fields completely cancelled out each other
in the smooth, uniform gas of the early cosmos.

How the mighty, universe-shaping forces of primordial magnetism emerged

always has been something of a mystery, but physicist Reinhardt Schlickeiser from the
Institute of Theoretical Physics at the Ruhr-Universidad Bochum in Germany thinks he
may know the answer.

Out of that hot gas which was cooling by expansion - came atoms. What it did not
produce were objects with permanent magnetic fields. They would come later, but
Schlickeiser thinks there was an extremely weak form of magnetism, created randomly
even before the first stars appeared. These weak fields were later strengthened and
stretched by the first stellar winds and exploding stars

Schlickeiser said that magnetism can be produced naturally by the spin of atoms
and subatomic particles. However. Strong magnetism would not have happened in the
infant universe because it requires heavy elements like nickel or iron that were produced
only later inside stars. Producing even heavier magnetic elements, in tum requires
supernovas, the violent destructions of huge stars at the end of their lives.

The extraordinary high temperatures of the cloud cooled when the universe was
around 380,000 years old, random islands of magnetism formed, produced by variations
in density and pressure.

Schlickeiser said those weak magnetic fields would be measured at around ten-
billionths of a tesla, a unit of magnetism. The average MRI machine in a doctor's office is
three tesla.

The magnetism is so small it has no effect on the gas surrounding it, to the
contrary, the gas pushed around the weak magnetic fields.

Eventually the matter in the universe accreted into stars and galaxies The stars did
not need the heavier elements to form, but began producing them as they cooled and
collapsed

It stars are massive enough they explode at the end of their lifetime, The out
knowing object from the exploding stars compress the surrounding medium. while
simultaneously enriching it with the heavier elements. According to Schlickeiser, the

combination of stellar wind and the blasts began to push the little magnetic fields round,
compressing them strengthening them, and aligning them in the direction of the wind.

"There is a stream of gas going out, ramming through the medium of the magnetic
fields, and supersonic wind flow compressor and orders the field as it flows," Schlickeiser
said.
“Finally, the magnetic field became strong enough to push the plasma around.”

The stars, meanwhile, began creating the heavier elements that produced much
stronger magnetism through atomic spin. It is that magnetism that formed the magnetic fields
of the Earth- and it is that field you see in the aurora borealis, better known as the Northern
Lights.

The original theory behind this form of random magnetism was worked out by
Schlickeiser and Peter Yoon of the Institute of Physical Science and Technology at the
University of Maryland. Yoon said that Schlickeiser adapted it to cosmology with this work.

Flows of molten metal can generate magnetic fields. This so-called dynamo effect
creates cosmic magnetic fields, like those found on planets, moons and even asteroids
Magnetism is one of the main forces of nature, like the force of gravity. Like gravity, which
causes objects to be attracted to each other, magnetism causes magnetized objects to be
attracted to each other.

In most cases, planetary magnetic fields are made by currents of molten

material which move around deep within a planet.

An example of the force of magnetism at work is the magnet from your Kitchen
which sticks to the refrigerator door.

On Earth, a simple compass can always be used to detect the presence of the
magnetic field of the earth around you, as well as any other nearby magnetic field.

CHAPTER - IV

VETHATHIRI MAHARISHI VIEWS ON UNIVERSAL MAGNETISM

4.1 INTRODUCTION:
Magnetism, in the form of Mighty Divine Fluid, is present in all the inanimate and
animate things in the Universe, from the tiny bacteria to man keeping them working in
accordance with the order of function, in Nature. It is present in the Divine state, as well
as the energy particles, which arose from it. This is pranava according to the sages and
seers of old. The Absolute space which contains and carries all the manifested objects,
including the sun, moon, stars, planets and the living things, is God.

Universal magnetism takes up the space between the energy particles, the stars, planets,
and all other objects in the Universe. It is also present within all the animate and
inanimate things in the Universe. It is variously called as universal magnetism, stellar
magnetism (in the stars) and bio-magnetism in the living beings), depending on the
surroundings. Man has unfortunately failed to realise the worth or power of this mighty
force. The realised persons of earlier era, who realized its might have sung paeans in its
glory.

The infinite Divine state crumbles on account of its self-compressive force, giving rise to
the Formative dust, which commence to rotate at very high speeds, through the action of
the surrounding pressure force. They are called Magnetism. The formative dust which
have not associated to form the energy: particles is referred to Unmanifested Magnetism.

The Eternal space is filled with the formative dust particles, each of which is powerhouse
for magnetism. The magnetic waves spread all over the universe and all the
characteristics of the Divine state, viz. Plenum, Force. Consciousness and Time are
present in every wave.

Vethathiri Maharishi says:

"Everything in the universe, the earth, stars, planets etc. are the
result of an association of the energy particles.

"The entire Universe is nothing but the repulsive force and its variations"

"Millions of forms manifest in the universe

Are but energy particles and the ubiquitous Space:
Born of the action of the self-compressive force
The particles are mere fractions of space".

All objects give off energy waves, which mingle with the waves produced by the
other objects, undergoing suitable changes. Every object occupies a certain space in time.
It has a measurable weight, with a magnetic field of its own. The area occupied by the
object, in space, comprises its volume. Time is the measure of the period of its existence,
and distance the intervening space between two objects. Each object is endowed with a
force. time and distance

4.2 MEANING:

The spinning Formative Dust, which fill the Universe giving off magnetic waves is
magnetism. Magnetism is made up of the two words 'Mag and 'Net' meaning mega or
huge and a net or web that keeps everything within its fold: The entire Universe is a vast
ocean of magnetism, which not a solid or a moving object. It is the Mighty Divine Fluid,
omnipresent and considered as God, from the olden days.

This idea is explained in the Bhagavad Gita, where it says, "am with him constantly. who
sees me in every object and movement". The magnetic waves also function as the mind;
he who understands the qualities, structure, functions and end of magnetism, realises the
Divine. It can be achieved only through a process of inner travel.

It is not humanly possible to realise the Divine State without knowing about
magnetism, or understand the Consciousness, without knowledge about the genetic
center. The Absolute is immanent in both"--Vethathiri Maharishi.

The three imperceptible in the manifested Universe are:

1). The Eternal Space: It is God, the almighty force that has manifested into the visible
universe and the living things its self-compressive force is the root for all the other forces
in the universe. It functions as the phenomena of Consciousness and Time.
2). The Formative Dust: They are fractions of the Divine State
3). Magnetism: It is the spinning Formative Dust particles.

The energy particle:

Nature exists in the form of the Stock Force (Absolute), the energy particle
(Astral and magnetism (Causal). All things formed through an association of the energy
particles constitute the gross objects. The free energy particles, arising from an
association of the Formative Dust are called the life energy particles or the Astral body in
a living organism.

The rotation of the energy particle generates a repulsive force, which keeps them
at a distance from each other, constantly. Energy particles never come together or fuse,
whereas the magnetic waves blend with each other. The particles are the first step in the
formation of the Universe. The philosophers and the sages have described the Formative
Dust as something beyond perception through the sense organs, for which reason the
scientists have also been unable to perceive them, despite the use of advanced techniques.
It has not been described properly, lying as it does beyond the perceptive levels of both
the scientists and the philosophers.

"The scientists and the philosophers have described the Formative Dust as a
product of the self-compressive force of the Divine State; the ethereal particles exist
between the stages of the Absolute and the energy particles, which the researchers have
failed to identify" - -Vethathiri Maharishi.

The sixth sense alone can, by entering into the deepest realms of research and
analysis, decipher the workings of Truth and its various manifestations. When We look at
the vast Universe once again, in the light of the above knowledge, we begin to
understand that the omnipresent Formative Dust are units of magnetism, which have
arisen from the Divine State.

The theory of transformation:

The manifested universe with the living beings came into existence through
association of the pancha boothas that were in turn formed through an association of the
energy particles. The energy particles arose from the Divine state. This process, where
everything arose and came into existence from the eternal space, is called the
Transformational History by Vethathiri Maharishi. It explains in detail the entire process
of transformation from the level of the Divine state to man. Transformation is the change
undergone by one thing when it becomes another. The history of transformation ideally
fits all the theories propounded by the scientists and the philosophers with the regard to
evolution. Let us take a look at the Theory of Transformation in scientific manner.

"Becoming active, Truth, the Primordial state

Transforms into the particles, which then associate
To clash and unite, come, together and separate
Form the elements, matter in five state.
The planets and stars, and all things that live
With the sensory perception from the single to five
As well as man with his ability to know
Right from wrong; let happiness through service grow!!"

The divine state underwent transformation into the energy particles, which
associated to form the panchabhoothas and the entire universe, made up of millions and
millions of stars. planets, and the other heavenly bodies. The self-compressive
surrounding pressure force of the Divine state, characterized by four qualities of Plenum,
Force, Consciousness and Time made it undergo the transformations into the Universe
and everything in it.

"The first transformation due to the self compressive force,

The Formative Dust, which from Eternal Space arose;
Coming together, the Dust particles in turn associate
To become the energy particles and matter in five star"
- Vethathiri Maharishi.

The history of the Universe is the story of its transformation from the Divine state to
man.

This is the Theory of Transformation propagated by Yogiraj Vethathiri

Maharishi. This theory alone is capable of withstanding deep research and analysis by the
scholars, even though it may appear different from the other theories existing in the
world today

4.3 BIO- MAGNETISM AND UNIVERSAL MAGNETISM:

Magnetism is the first stage in the transformation of the imperceptible Divine

State, and all further transformations, including the one into the living things are on the
basis of magnetism. The living things emerge from holistic combination of the
Panchabhoothas. Every living thing takes care of itself by putting to use the resources
available in Nature. Even these gifts of Nature are a combination of the Panchabhoothas.
A permanent relationship is established between the living thing and its surroundings in
view of the fact the needs of the living things are normally satisfied through the materials
available in its habitat. This relationship is on the basis of the magnetism. The universal
magnetism, given off by the inanimate objects and present all around the creature,
mingles with the bio-magnetism in its body. For any living creature all magnetism, other
than the bio-magnetism in its own body, is universal magnetism.

The creature has to depend on its habitat for taking care of all its needs. This is
despite the fact that the surroundings may not be conducive for its continued existence.
Under such circumstances, the genetic center of the animal modifies its qualities to
enable it to adapt itself to the surroundings This is seen in the case of a the living thing
with sensory perceptions from one to five, where suitable changes in the structure,
qualities and skills of the living thing are made to enable it to survive under the
prevailing conditions. The habitat where the animal lives is filled with universal
magnetism and this is in constant contact with the bio-magnetism in the body of the
animal. The impact of the magnetism, replete with the qualities of the place, is felt by the
genetic center of the animal, through the bio magnetic field and the genetic center brings
about suitable changes in the physical and psychological qualities of the animal enabling
it to adapt itself to the surroundings. This adaptation is possible through the action of the

universal magnetism and bio magnetism working together, Adaptation to the

environment can be seen commonly among the plants. Plants like the cactus that grow in
the desert, conserve water in their thick, succulent stems, Leaves are absent to prevent
evaporation of the water, in the extremely high temperatures. Further, the leaves are often
modified into thorns to prevent the plants from being eaten by the animals

Some of the birds that live and lay their eggs in nests on the ground are sand
colored to escape the attention of the predators. Their eggs are also brown and speckled
for the same reason. These changes are brought about by the infinite wisdom of the
Consciousness present in the genetic center of the creatures, when the universal
magnetism in the area enters the eyes of the animals and finds its way to the genetic
center through the magnetic field. Such changes are ideal for purposes of survival and
foraging for food.

The chameleon, which belongs to the class of garden lizards, is incapable of

running at very high speeds. It feeds on the insects found on the plants and trees. But lack
of speed very often makes it difficult for the chameleon to hunt down its prey. This
problem was solved by the genetic center of the creature by bringing about certain
changes in its body. The green colour of the surrounding foliage enters the eyes of the
chameleon and reaches its genetic center, which produces suitable changes in the
colouration of the animal. The chameleon, which becomes green when among the leaves,
can also turn sepia when lying amongst the dried leaves on the ground. Here the universal
magnetism and the bio-magnetism are seen working together. for the advantage of the
animal.
The stork stands in the water, pecking the fish out of it with its long beak, as they
swim by. The magnetism present in the fish, water and sunlight that form the environs of
a stork, have in combination with the bio magnetism in the body of the bird and the
Divine Consciousness produce certain changes that makes it ideal for it to survive in
those conditions. The Long legs and neck, as well as the sharp beak and the white colour
of body. that protects it from the heat, are all examples of this. Besides, the speed with
which the bird picks the fish from the water is also the result of this adaptation No living
creature other than the plants is capable of synthesising its own food, and they survive by
feeding on the other living things. Their lives are directly linked to Nature and everything

that takes place in their lives like birth, growth, mating, conception, and delivery happen
through the combined action of the universal magnetism and bio-magnetism.

Deer need plenty of nutrition during their pregnancy and lactation periods, and
breeding takes place when the circumstances are conducive to this. Similarly the
carnivores breed when the deer are in plenty in the forests. The life cycles of the animals
are based on the seasons in Nature. The universal magnetism mingles with the bio-
magnetism in the living things to become its qualities in the genetic center. The Divine
Consciousness produces suitable changes in the living creatures by means of which they
adapt themselves to the surroundings and survive.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INANIMATE MATTER AND LIVING BEINGS

Evolution is a continuous and dynamic process. Everyone knows there is a

difference between inanimate matter and living beings. But the mystery of the
demarcating point where life actually begins is yet unsolved. Whether through science or
philosophy, only on knowing his secret can the discovery of the evolutionary process be
regarded as satisfactorily complete. Therefore this subject is accorded a prime place in
Philosophy of Universal Magnetism.

It is important in both philosophy and science the here, when and what is the
point of juncture in the evolutionary process science to know the secret of tween
inanimate and animate existence. This can be known only understands the Philosophy of
Universal Magnetism. Universal magnetism can be clearly understood only when one
realizes God in philosophy and unified force scientifically. Philosopher-revelators of

evolution of universe; the same is Almighty and the source of all forces. They have

who understand the Philosophy of Universal Magnetism

Although inanimate matter and living beings are masses, there is a significant
difference and special qualities in living beings. Living beings have four special qualities:

• Ability to move and/or travel from place to place whenever such a need and
desire arise
• Reproductive capability and
• Formation of precise genetic code characterized by experiences and behaviors, to
continue for future generations. Genetic reproduction is effected by the centripetal,
spiritual force of bio-magnetism which forms the seed.

In all inanimate masses universal magnetism is penetrative functioning. Every

mass is an association of energy particles (Holy Spirit); each particle is radiating its
spreading wave (the shadow wave particles) which becomes universal magnetism when it
touches the Eternal Space. This magnetism is in everything and everywhere throughout
the universe.
In a small mass of five elements in a harmonious proportion (i.e. energy particles,
air, heavy air, liquid and solid) when the flowing magnetism arranges the cells, it makes a
magnetic circuit to protect its existence and coordinate metabolic functions. By
gravitational force, a centripetal force is created in the centre of a mass. Similarly, by the
circulation of bio-magnetism in a living being, a spiritual centripetal centre evolves
which creates the seed. Seed is the treasure of the organism, containing multifarious
secrets of the universe. Around the life-force particles in the seed, the magnetic force is
intensified; it is the spiritual, magnetic centre of the body.

The Static State at the centre of each life-force particles becomes the base of
knowledge. receiving all the waves of pressure, sound, light, taste, smell and mind.
Physical transformation of bio-magnetism into pressure, sound, light, taste and smell is
the basic feeling in a living being. Feeling of pressure is the first sensory significance of
an organism. All the waves coming from external sources are received through the
senses. When the intensity of such waves are less than that of the magnetic wave of the
organism, they add to the force of the recipe organism. When the external waves are
greater in intensity. they accelerate the force of the organism and a portion of bio-
magnetism is thereby physically transformed and eliminated. If such elimination is only
the surplus bio-magnetism and the transformation is within the tolerable limit of the
senses that is pleasure. When such elimination is more than the tolerable limit of the
senses and disturbs the polarity of the cells of the senses or physical body that is pain,

A living being is a special, separate working unit with sensing faculty. Whether a
simple or complex creature, everyone designed to function with multifarious activities
with cooperation and coordination of the cells senses and limbs of the body, with regular
circulation of liquid, heat, air and bio-magnetism. The universal magnetism is termed
"bio-magnetism" in a living being and the working level of consciousness is extended to
the second stage of perceptional ability.

As stated previously, in all inorganic elements, from the Holy Spirit particles up
to the greatest stars, the consciousness is working at its primary level, the three-fold
functions of pattern, precision and regularity. In living beings, the same consciousness
develops to a second working level with perceptional ability, which comprises the three-
fold capability of cognition experience and discrimination In human beings the
consciousness develops to third level, which is its culmination, the self-realization
faculty: At this stage, the sixth sense develops to understand three important subjective
phenomena: the mind, Holy Spirit (life-force), and Eternal Space, with all of their
inherent characteristics. According to the development of consciousness, the physical
Structure evolves and develops to the requisite standard. The human body is Wonderfully
structured and designed by the universal magnetism. One can only wonder at its
architectural beauty and the complex labyrinth working As yet no one has discovered or
revealed all the inner secrets of even a molecule of it in complete depth

4.4 THE TANMATRAS:

The magnetic waves undergo transformation into the five Tanmatras of pressure,
sound, light, taste and smell over and above all these, they also undergo transformation
into the mind in the living beings. As already seen. magnetic waves travel in the infinite
medium of the Etemal spce converting it into a vast magnetic field. Two basic principles
are involved here the principle of magnetism 2 The Actions and wetter the Divine Force.

The Pancha Tanmatras arise when the Formative Dust, with their repulsive force,
are ejected from the energy particles and dissolve into the Eternal Space. once again.
The transformation of the Dynamic force into the Static State generates electricity
"Magnetism transforms into electricity and chemicals, in accordance with the
surroundings" - Vethathiri Maharishi. Within the energy particles, the formative Dust are
in the form of magnetism; but when their repulsive force increases and they are expelled
from the particles, they undergo transformation into electricity and chemicals Whereas
sound and light are electrical changes, taste and smell are chemical in nature. The
transformations are as under

1). Into pressure in the medium of Akash.

2). Sound in the medium of air.
3). Heat and light in the medium of heavy air.
4). Taste in the medium of the liquids (water)
5). Smell in the medium of the solid (earth).

The Dust particles lose their individual identity during the course of the
transformations and become one with the Divine State. After the expulsion of all the
Formative Dust, the energy particles also cease to exist. The Formative Dust which came
into existence before the origin of the Universe are called Un manifested Magnetism,
according to Vethathiriyam But the Dust particles that are ejected from the energy
particles, to undergo further transformations, are called Manifested Magnetism. The
formative Dust that are thrown out of the energy particles from very high speeds initially:
but they lose speed gradually, count of the surrounding pressure force, md come to a halt,
at which point they become one with the Divine State. Magnetism transforms into
pressure, sound, light taste and Smell, in accordance with the surroundings.

COGNITION AND MIND

Conversion of bio-magnetism into the Tanmatras goes on all the time, in the sense
organs. When the magnetic waves, emanating from the objects, come into contact with
the sense organs, the rate of conversion increases, and cognition takes place. For
purposes of cognition, the magnetic waves, given of by objects, has necessarily to be
bigger than the level of conversion going on in the sense organs, if they are lower,
cognition will not occur. For example, let us take the case of a person who enters a movie
hall during the daytime. Let us assume that the intensity of the light outside the hall is 20
units, and that within, where the lights have been dimmed, is only 10 units As he enters
the hall, nothing is visible to him initially, this is because his eyes used to the 20 units
outside, are not ready for the lower level of 10 units, within the auditorium. But after a
few moments, when the rate of conversion in his eyes has come down to 10 units, he
begins to see the rows of seats and the people in them.

Every Tanmatra is endowed with numerous variations, all of which are the result
of the transformations of magnetism. Magnetism, the imperceptible phenomenon in the
Universe, cannot be perceived either by the sense organs, or the scientific gadgets known
to man. It is beyond words and cannot be explained suitably: it can be perceived only
through the sixth sense in man The Pancha Tanmatras, together, function as the mind in
the living beings, which is the sixth Sense in man.

4.5 THE TYPES OF ENERGY PARTICLES:

The energy particles can be classified into four on the basis of the speed of their
rotation. They are the Electrons, Protons: Neutrons and the Black Holes. The Electrons,
Protons and Neutrons are no different types of energy particles, but the same at different
stages of their existence. An individual may be called a child, boy youth, leather,
grandfather ete, according to his age. In the same way the energy particle is called an
electron, proton or neutron according to the formative Dust particles it contains and the
speed of its rotation.

ELECTRONS:

Let us, for example, assume an energy particle rotates at a speed of around
100,000 times/second. Let us now assume that with the ejection of the Formative Dust,
its speed comes down to 90,000 rotations/second. The particle is called an Electron

PROTONS:

Now if the speed of the particle were to go down further, to say around 75000
rotations /second, it would be called a Proton.

NEUTRONS:

A further reduction in the speed makes the particle rotate at around 50000 times
/second. The force of the particle at this stage may be just enough to keep it Spinning.
The repulsive force emanating from it may also not be sufficient to keep other particles
away from it. This is a Neutron.

BLACK HOLES:

With the cessation of its movement, the wave becomes the waters of sea once
again. In the same manner the energy particle becomes the Static State when its rotation
ceases. This stage of its transformation into the Divine State, is called a Black Hole. The
Electron is heavier than the energy particle and its weight is estimated to be around 9x10-
28 grams by the scientists. The Proton is 1836 times heavier than the Electron and the
Neutron slightly more than that. According to the scientists the Protons appeared
thousands of years after the Electrons came into existence.

THE ELEMENTS:

Elements are the result of an association of two or more atoms. Reduction in the
speed of rotation, on account of expulsion of the Formative Dust from within the

call the basic unit of matter as Atoms. Atoms come together to form the elements, which
have been Classified into 109 by the scientists, on the basis of the quality and quantity of
the atoms. The primary difference between the elements lies in the number of atoms they
contain. A single electron and proton together form an atom of Hydrogen. When 8
electrons, 8 protons and 8 neutrons come together, oxygen is formed. The
Panchabhoothas, viz. earth, water, fire, air andakash are all the result of an association of
the energy particles. The difference between the formative Dust, the energy particles and
the elements should be understood, clearly. Formative Dust are very, very tiny and a
fraction of the Divine State: they associate to form the energy particles. The energy
particles come together to give rise to the elements, and they in turn, associate to form the
five states of matter, as well as the living beings.

4.6 ORIGIN AND FUNCTIONS OF UNIVERSE :

The Universe is made of millions and millions of stars and planets, each of which
was formed through an association of energy particles. When an energy particle, which
rotates at very high speeds, begins to travel around another, with a slower speed, a
hydrogen atom is formed. When a number of atoms are thus formed the self-compressive
force of the Divine State drives them together into spherical masses of very low densities.

SPECIFIC GRAVITY:

Hydrogen was the first element that originated in the Universe. As time passed
and more particles began entering the original formation of two other elements came into
existence. The whole mass consisting of the hydrogen atoms and the other elements kept
spinning on account of the self-compressive force. All rotations produce a centripetal and
a centrifugal force. which makes the heavier objects, move to the center, and the lighter

ones to the periphery. This is the Principle of Specific Gravity. The same principle acting
on the spinning mass in space caused the heavier atoms to move to the center and the
lighter ones to the periphery, within the mass. The whole mass took on a globular or
spherical shape, and continued to rotate for millions of years.

NEBULA:

The spherical mass formed by the coming together of the hydrogen atoms, on
account of the self-compressive force, is called a Nebula.

WATER:

The reduced speed and lower levels of repulsion produced by a particle becomes
a reason for the energy particles to come closer, and travel around one another. A
hydrogen atom is made of two particles, but when the number of particles increases, they
become other elements. For example, an atom of Oxygen is made of 24 particles. The
atoms of oxygen and hydrogen came together in due course and gave rise to the element
water. Water was the first visible object to manifest in the Universe

SOLIDS:

As the number of atoms increased, the heavier ones started moving towards the
center of the formation, where they were subjected to great pressure by the surrounding
pressure force of Nature, resulting in the formation of the rocks, minerals and the metals.
Besides the solids, other states of matter like and heavy air (fire) also came into
existence, occupying the proper positions within air (gas) the spinning mass, in keeping
with the principles of Specific Gravity. As more and more heavier masses were formed,
they moved to the center and the lighter ones remain in the periphery The entire process
took millions of years, whereby the stars and planets we see today came into existence.
The pressure at the core of a star or planet is very high, as a result of which nuclear
fission goes on, constantly.

STARS:

Matter which is constantly thrown off or escapes from a Nebula travels some
distance from it and then come together on account o of the surrounding pressure force.
They assume spherical shapes and begin to rotate as separate entities. These masses,
which emit very high quantities of heat and light, are called the Stars. The stars we see in
the sky at any point of time are in fact only the light rays that have emanated from the
celestial bodies. Light travels at a speed of 3 lakh kilo meters / second, and by the time
the light rays given off by a star, situated billions of kilo meters away from the earth
reaches our eves, the star would have moved away from the original position: all we see
are the light rays that came from it, when it occupied a particular Spot in the sky. The
sun, around which the earth revolves, is also a star. The Universe is made of millions and
millions of such stars.

THE SUN :

The heat of the sun evaporates the water on the earth constantly, and en a portion of it
falls back to the earth as rain. In time all water on the earth will be lost, and it will
become a ball of fire, devoid of life, very much like the sun. The stars which shine at
night are in fact suns, situated billions of miles away from the earth

ASTROIDS AND STARS :

Asteroids are small rocky planets that revolve around a sun. The atoms thrown off
by the stars during the course of their rotation, come together and turn into asteroids that
travel around the original star. When the asteroids grow in size over a period of time, due
to the addition of further matter, they are called planets. The Sun, around which the Earth

rotates, is a huge ball of fire. It is around 2 million times larger than the Earth. The
temperature at the core of the Sun is estimated to be around 17. 000, 000 degrees C. The
temperatures are lower at its edges being around 6000 degrees C. The Sun has nine
planets viz Mercury. Venus, Earth. Mars, Jupiter, Satum, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto. The
energy particles given off by the Sun create a magnetic field around it, which rotates
along with the Sun, as a result of which the nine planets revolve around the Sun.

SATELLITES :

Satellites are formed, when the energy particles ejected from the planets collect
together to from smaller bodies, which travel around the original plants. For example,
earth is a planet of the Sun, revolving around it speed of around 1042 miles/hour, in an
elliptical orbit. The earth is made of energy particles, each of which rotates at very high
speeds, as a result of which the earth also rotates constantly. The same is the case with all
the stars and planets in the Universe, and all of them rotates speeds of their own. The
rotation of the planets makes the heavier atoms move towards the center and the heavier
ones to the periphery, enormous heal and nuclear fission. This causes atoms to be thrown
of the planet, on their own. Earth has one satellite, the Moon, while Mars has two; in the
same under the principles of Specific Gravity. The pressure at the center increases on
account of the accumulation of the heavier atoms, resulting in production of which travel
some distance into space, where they come together and turn into satellites. Besides
revolving around the original planets, the satellites also rotate manner the other planets
like Jupiter, Saturn etc, all have their own satellites Around 40.000 asteroids lie in the
space between Mars and Jupiter.

DISTANCE BETWEEN THE STARS:

The distance between any two stars will proportion to the sum total of the
repulsive forces generated by both. Every star is made of energy particles from which
Formative Dust are ejected constantly. Each of the Dust particles is endowed with a
repulsive force, which acting together, keeps the other celestial bodies at a distance. In
other words the repulsive force of each planet pushes the others away from it. Let us take
the case of the Sun and the Earth for example. The distance from the Sun to the Earth is

around 930 crore miles, which is on account the sum total of the repulsive force
emanating Mom the energy particles contained both. The same is the case with all the
planets that revolve around the Sun. Mercury is situated at a distance of Brown 3.00 crore
miles away from the Sun while Venus is situated at 6.70 crore miles away from it. Mars,
Jupiter and Saturn are situated at distance of 14,10,4800 and 88.60 crore miles, while
Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are located 1780028000 and 367.00 crores miles respectively,
away from the Sun.

THE SUN'S MAGNETIC FIELD:

The energy waves arising from a planet or star create a magnetic force field
around it, which contains all the qualities of the particular star. The rotation of the star
makes the magnetic field rotate along with it, as a result of which any object lying within
the field also rotates. The Sun, around which the Earth orbits, rotates once in 25 days, on
account of which the Earth and the other planets lying within the magnetic field of the
Sun, also rotate. This field extends millions of miles from the Sun and is very powerful.
The period taken by each planet to travel around the Sun depends on its size and
proximity to the Sun.

Mercury travels around the Sun once in 88 days: Venus takes 225 days. and the
Earth. 365 days. Mars orbits the Sun once in 18 months, while Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus,
Neptune and Pluto take 12 years, 30 years, 84 years. 165 years and 248 years,
respectively Had there been only a single planet to revolve the Sun, it probably might
have travelled in a circular path: but the presence of 9 planets, of varying sizes and
repulsive forces, makes them move in an elliptical path.

THE MILKY WAY GALAXY:

The self-compressive force of the Eternal Space gave rise to the Formative Dust which in
tum associated to form the energy particles, atoms and the elements. An association of
the energy particles, in varying levels of density, gave rise to the five states of matter viz.
Akash, air, fire, water and earth.

The entire Universe can be divided into two, viz. the dynamic Universe,
comprising of the energy particles, stars, planets and the one matter. The other is the
Static State, or the Stock Force, which completely surrounds the manifested Universe,
keeping it bound together firmly, through Its self-compressive force. The Formative
Dust, ejected from the spinning energy particles, transform into universal magnetism.
The Earth and all the living things which inhabit it are the result of an association of the
energy particles. The Earth rotates at a speed of around 1042 miles/hour, and travels
around the Sun at the rate of 15, 50.000 miles/day. The Earth is the third planet from the
Sun. Venus and Mars are situated close to the Earth, flanking it on either side. Moon is
the satellite of the planet Earth. A galaxy is made up of millions and millions of suns,
stars and planets. Our planet Earth and the Solar System, of which we are a part, are
situated in the Milky Way Galaxy The stars and planets float around in space, separated
by billions of miles, from each other. The sun closest to our Solar System is the Alpha
Centauri lying at a distance around 4.3 light years away from the Earth. A light year is
the term used to measure the distances between the stars. It is the distance travelled by a
ray of light, moving at a speed of around 300.000 kilometres/ second, in a year. The
distance of a light year is 9.5 X 12 kilometres (3, 00, 000 x 60 X 60 X 24 X 365
kilometres). The rays of the Alpha Centauri take 4.3 years to reach the Earth. The rays of
the Moon reach the earth in 12 seconds, while those of Sun reach us in 8 minutes. The
Milky Way Galaxy lie diagonally across the skies, thick at the center and thin at the
edges. Its diameter is estimated to be around 100.000 light years and its weight around 3
X 1041 kilograms. It measures around 5000 light years at the center and around 500 light
years at the edges. At the point where our Sun is located, it is around 1000 light years.
The Milky Way Galaxy rotates on its own axis. It would take around 300 million years
for a star to travel once around the Milky Way Galaxy Millions of suns like our own are
to be found in the Milky Way Galaxy. The entire galaxy dots around in the Absolute
Space.

THE UNIVERSE:

The vast Universe is made of millions and millions of such galaxies, all of which
float around in space. The Andromeda Galaxy, situated at a distance of 2.2 million light
years away, is our nearest galaxy. The Universe is a vast field of energy and keeps
rotating all the time. The Universe also has a center and when this is discovered, the
distance at which the stars lie from the center, as well as their individual speeds can be
worked out. The distance from the center of the Universe to the Milky Way Galaxy can
also be calculated.

Beyond the Universe lies the Eternal Space, vast, tranquil, limitless and totally
dark. The Universe would appear to be a mere dot within the vast reaches of the Eternal
Space. The Sun would be a smaller dot and the planet Earth a micro dot in it. The life on
the Earth, which is floating in space and moving around the Sun at a Speed of 15, 50, 000
miles/day. Everything moves around the Sun along with the Earth. The entire solar
system, comprising of the Sun and the nine planets, is moving through the Universe at an
incredible speed of 250 kilometers / second. The Milky Way Galaxy rotates on its axis
within the vast Universe, carrying us along with it. All these can be understood only
through inference, the power of the sixth sense.

The above go to show how small and insignificant human beings are really within
the Universe. Human beings are not even a microdot in the vast Universe, preen our egos
and light for supremacy with those around us. Is it necessary? Why compare ourselves
with the others? Why the ego, when one can very well live in peace and harmony with
those around us? The self-compressive force of the Divine State and the repulsive force
the energy particles, together keep the Universe functioning smoothly. The entire
Universe is the outcome of the transformations undergone by the Eternal Space.

4.7 THE PRIMAL FORCE - GOD:

Energy is essential for the functioning of the human body and mind this is the
case with all the living things. A supreme force or power keeps all the things in the
Universe, living or non-living, functioning smoothly and efficiently.

This power, beyond everything that can be conceived by the human mind, is referred to
as God. This is the Eternal Space, the Absolute, or the Supreme Being. Doubts may
prevail in the minds of the people regarding the singularity or monotheistic concept of
God: but the Divine is one – the Eternal Space, the Static State is God. He is not many,
pantheistic, as wrongly conceived by some. He is single; the Absolute Space that takes up
both inter and intra particle space, is God. It is the mightiest force in the Universe, having
undergone transformation into the formative Dust, the energy particles and the
manifested Universe.

It may be difficult, even confusing, during the initial stages, to accept the fact that
Space is God. Having been told that space is a mere vacuum. It may not be easy to look
upon the Eternal Space as God, possessing powers far beyond what the human mind can
conceive. Lack of empirical proof in support of the claims is another reason for this. The
sages and seers of the olden days, faced with a similar dilemma, came up with certain
examples in support of their revelations, which made matters easy.

The earth, for example, weighs millions of tonnes, and is situated at a distance of
around 90 million miles away from the sun. It travels around the sun in an elliptical orbit,
completing one revolution in a year. The sun weighs around 333,000 times more than the
earth, and the weight of the two, put together, is enormous. The Universe is filled with
millions and millions of stars, planets, galaxies and other heavenly bodies, the combined
weight of which is astounding and beyond comprehension by human minds. All of them
float around in Space, which carries them effortlessly, allowing them to move around in
their own orbits. The question now is simple: which of the two is stronger the objects, or
the medium that supports them? The answer is obvious - it definitely has to be the
medium, which in this case is the Eternal Space The Absolute Space is mightier than
anything in the manifested Universe, and is not a mere vacuum as considered by some .

Weight of a human being. 60 kilograms

Weight of the Earth: 6 X 1024 kilograms
Weight of the Sun: 20 X 1029 kilograms

It is the almighty force, supporting and containing the entire mass of the Universe
within it. It is the primordial State, the primal force of the Universe, called as God.

THE DIVINE STATE- AN EXPLANATION:

The desire to learn about God comes naturally to all human beings. The Eternal
Space is God. It is formless, the Stock Force and the Primordial state of the Universe. Let
us take a look at the characteristics and capabilities of the Divine State

Man studies the Universe and everything in it, in terms of volume, force, time and
distance, through the use of his sense organs. But all sensory perceptions have an upper
and a lower limit, beyond which they fail to function. Existing beyond the parameters of
volume, force, time and distance, the Divine State, remains imperceptible to the sense
organs, and as such its qualities and capabilities remain a mystery to the ordinary minds.
People are unaware of the existence of the Primordial State, and the events that produced
the Universe. This difficulty can however be overcome with the help of the sixth sense in
man; through the practice of meditation, which brings down the frequencies of the mind
waves to very subtle levels, and deep contemplation, the presence of the Primordial State
and its role in the transformations can be understood. It also paves the way for realising
the qualities of the Eternal Space.

4.8 THE DIVINE STATE

The transformations undergone by the Divine State can be classified as under:

1). Truth (Stock Force) - Static State/Absolute Space

2). Energy Formative Dust, energy particles
3). Mass- The inanimate objects
4). Consciousness The living things

The various stages of the transformation can be understood only through the
practice of meditation. Meditation also serves the following functions:

1). Maintaining harmony between the body and the life force.
2). Maintaining harmony between the life force and the mind.
3). Maintaining harmony between the individual and the society.
4). Maintaining harmony between man and nature.

Having already death with the subjects of the Individual and the society, let us
now take a look at Nature, and the way to exist in harmony with it. The sell compressive
force of the State State caused it to crumble into the tiny Formative Dust, which the
associated to form the energy particles. The particles: then came together to manifest as
the visible Universe, and the life forms that inhabit it, including man, with his distinctive
sixth sense. This in brief is the history of the transformations undergone by
the Divine State, according to Vethathiriyam.

Comprehending the energy particle, the Formative Dust, and the Primordial State
that existed before the two is real spiritual knowledge. The Divine State, energy particle
and magnetism are all imperceptible phenomenon, knowing about which alone makes
spiritual knowledge total Science also remains incomplete as long as it fails to understand
the above three. Ignorance about the Divine State keeps most people unaware of the
qualities of the mind, which in turn keeps them ignorant about the nature of sensory
perceptions, and their effects. In other words, people remain unaware of the principles of
Cause and Effect, as a result of which they continue to live according to their whims,
characterised by reckless deeds, which only bring misery in their wake.

It is essential to understand the imperceptible phenomena that rule human lives

and deeds. Science deals only with the energy particle and its manifested forms

Total knowledge is knowledge about all things from the Divine State to the
human mind, for which science and philosophy have work together, hand in hand. This
can be rightly called as Spiritual-scientific knowledge.

Man, who emerged as the final product of the transformations undergone by the
Divine State, goes through life performing deeds that yield pleasure or pain as their
consequences and producing imprints in the body and soul. When his deeds are in
harmony with Nature, they bring pleasure: otherwise, they produce pain. Everyone seeks
pleasure and shuns pain, which is natural: but the sin imprints acquired from his
forebears and the beasts through heredity, come in the way of permanent happiness. They
have to be eradicated, the genetic center purified, and the individual should unite himself
with the Divine State, which alone helps him navigate the vast ocean called life.
Meditation, which enables him to merge with the Divine, purify the genetic center, and
pave the way for sublimation and perfection is imperative. Consciousness, a
characteristic of the Divine State, also functions as the Consciousness and mind, in man.
The desire to realise the Self by seeking answers to the question. Who am 12" arises only
when man begins to transcend the lure of worldly pleasures. Man is a manifestation of
the Divine State, and the only way to perfection is to attain the Divine State. The
realisation that he originated from the Divine State, spurs him on the path to perfection.
He becomes one with the Divine State, and begins to live in harmony with Nature. The
noble qualities of love and compassion blossom within him, which is a sign of perfection.
Life becomes pleasant and peaceful.

The story of the transformation of the Divine State commences with the
Formative Dust and culminates with man. Meditation is a process of sublimation that
leads to perfection.

ETERNAL SPACE - THE ONLY GOOD:

Adisankann described the Absolute as Brahmam, while Jesus Chant called it the
Holy Father, Mohammed, the Prophet, called it as 'Allah, and Mahatma Gandhi, the
Truth Saint Vallalar called it Arutperunjothi! Even though they called it by different
names, they advocated the view that "The Primordial State is omnipresent in the

Universe. God realisation is casy for man, blessed with the sixth sense. According to poet
Thiruvalluvar:

"The insight to judge good and bad enables

One to identify the qualities of virtue".

Saint-poet Thirumoolar mentions, "The perplexed, search for Him i in the skies, while He
is present in every atom". Subramania Bharathi talks about the omnipresent who is within
and without all forms".

4.9 THE TYPES OF THE DIVINE STATE:

The three capabilities of the Divine Sute are: 1. Transformation. 2 Mutation. 3.

Cause and Effect. Maharishi has referred to them as Creativity, Effort and Impact.
Transformation is the changes undergone by the Divine State up to the level of the living
things, including man. Mutation is the ability to function in keeping with the needs and
circumstances, and Cause and Effect. the sensations of pleasure, pain, peace or ecstasy,
bom of every deed.

TRANSFORMATION:

The Divine State has undergone transformation into the formative Dust, which
have then come together to form the energy particles. An association of the energy
particles has resulted in the PanchaBoothas, as well as the non-I n-living and living
things, including man.

The crumbling of the Divine State, on account of its self-compressive force, has
resulted in the formation of the formative Dust or Parmanu, which in turn came together
to form the energy articles. Both these stages in the transformation are imperceptible to
the sense organs

MUTATION:

The Force and Consciousness inherent in the Divine State bring about changes, in
keeping with the needs and circumstances, during the course of the transformations. This
is called Mutation. It is the reason behind the appearance of the various forms, living and
non-living, in the Universe. All things from the tiny Formative Dust to man with his sixth
sense, are the result of the mutations that took place in Nature Mutations are physical
manifestations of the qualities of the Divine State. For example, the almighty force,
inherent in the Divine State. unable to manifest in the form of waves, on account of the
surrounding pressure force, transformed into the spinning Formative Dust articles.
Mutation is the ability to adapt to the circumstances. It can be called planning. The
Divine State is present in all the objects during each moment of its existence. Mutation is
a phenomenon common to all the things. Copper Sulphate, is inert as long as it remains
stored in a bottle; but when a pinch of it is placed on the tongue, where it mixes with the
saliva, it begins to spread its poison. Thoughts and deeds are also the result of mutations.

Transformation is the change undergone the Divine State, whereby it has

manifested into the animate and inanimate Universe; but the changes undergone by the
magnetic waves into the Tanmatras, in accordance with the surroundings, or the field
within which they are present, is mutation.

CAUSE AND EFFECT:

When man began to realize the presence of the Absolute in all the objects in the
Universe, he leam to respect and live in harmony with it by ridding himself of all the
ingrained habits. This is God worship. God worship paves the way for the realization of
the fact that all deeds produce a result in their wake. When all objects begin to appear as
a manifestation of God, every action is tempered with the desire not to inflict pain on any
living thing. This discipline, imposed by the individual on himself, is the result of
awareness of the principles of Cause and Effect. Cause and Effect has far reaching
consequences, and the result of a deed may manifest even after a long delay, bringing
about changes, under the Order of Function in Nature. "No deed can be without a result
under the laws of Nature"- Vethathiri Maharishi.

The Divine State has blossomed into the force that has produced the Formative
Dust particles and also keeps them spinning. They are the Paramanu that have associated
to form the energy particles. The energy particles come together to form the atoms, and
they in turn associate to form the molecules. An association of the molecules produces in
the objects, all around us. All objects undergo changes in terms of volume, force, time
and distance, in keeping with which, the energy waves emanating from them also differ:
When the waves arising from the events in Nature come into contact with the sense
organs in man, they produce sensations of pleasure or pain. The sensations vary in
accordance with the time, place and the object of contact. The results of one's actions,
which manifest in the form of pleasure or pain, is destiny; they are in keeping with the
laws of Nature. It is possible to ward the ill effects of an action through awareness
regarding the laws of Nature and observing measure and method in everything.
Understanding the laws of Nature and living in accordance with it paves the way for
lasting peace. Bio-magnetic waves comprising of the Divine State and its forces make up
the soul of individual The Eternal Space, which functions as the Consciousness within
the individual cores the sensations of pleasure and pain. When the presence of the Divine
in every living being is clearly understood, the desire to harm the others vanishes to be
replaced with the not to alleviate the pain or suffering of the others, at all times. They are
the noble traits of compassion and charity, the hallmark of a realized person.

The intimate Eternal Space becomes finite within the objects. The Absolute Space
and the objects we see around us, produce four types of impact. They are:

1. The impact of the objects on one another

2. The impact of the objects on Space.
3. The impact of Space on the objects
4. The impact of Space on itself.

They are the four reactions in the Universe and scientists like Isaac Newton and
Albert Einstein have explained the first two, in great detail. Vethathiri Maharishi has
explained the other two, thus completing the process

1). Newton called the pressure exerted by one object on another as the attractive force.
2). The pressure exerted by the objects on space was explained by Einstein

3). The self-compressive force of the Divine State transforms into a surrounding pressure
force for the objects within it. The Formative Dust spin on account of the surrounding
pressure force, according to Vethathiri Maharishi. 4). The Eternal Space pressed down on
itself in the form of the self-compressive force, which has given rise to the Formative
Dust. The Self-compressive force is the reason behind the origin of the Dust particles
according to Vethathiri Maharishi.

All things were reckoned in terms of energy, mass, time and space, during times
of Newton. In the later years Einstein classified it into two,viz. force and the mass (E-
me2) and as time and space. Vethathiri Maharishi has however combined the two into
one entity called the Eternal Space, from which everything has originated. The Absolute
Space is the basis for all the things in the Universe. Besides being a reputed philosopher.
Vethathiri Maharishi may also be called a scientist, on a par with Newton and Einstein
for his theory regarding magnetism, which bridges the gap between science and
philosophy.

In the words of Einstein, "Philosophy without science is blind, and science

without philosophy is lame, The theories propounded by Vethathiri Maharishi regarding
the transformation of the Universe links science to philosophy. All phenomena like the
Divine State, the formative dust, energy particle, Panchabootham, repulsive force and the
compressive force have to be understood clearly

4.10 ASSOCIATION OF LIVING BEING AND SPACE :

the periods of solar or lunar eclipse are normally spent in fasting and prayer, which helps
retain the energies and increase the immunity power of the body.

THE CENTER:

The center of every energy particle is taken up by the Eternal Space The same
Absolute Space occupies the center of all the visible objects, including the stars. planets,
Universe and the living things in the living things it functions as the Genetic Center. The
genetic center of all the living beings is linked to one another through the medium of the
universal magnetism

UNIVERSAL MAGNETISM THE CONNECTING LINK:

KAYAKALPA – A POWERFUL METHOD

5.1 THE KAYA KALPA PRACTICE :

Kaya Kalpa practice consists of

1. Aswini Mudra
2. Ojus Breath.

ASHWINI MUDRA:

Aswini mudra is performed by contracting and relaxing the muscles around the
anal opening, in a series as instructed by the master.

Aswini means horse, and mudra, a symbolic gesture, Animals contract and
expand the anal muscles a few times, after defecating, which is more pronounced in the
case of the horse. Aswini mudra consists of similar movements during kaya kalpa, when
the sexual vital fluid in the genetic center is churned, and the ojus separated from it,
much like the butter in a pail of milk, that is being churned. The nerves around the
mooladhara are also toned up during the process.

OJUS BREATH:
Ojus breath is the next part in the exercise, where the muscles around. The anus
are contracted tightly the tongue folded inwards in a way that is lower surface touches the
upper palate, the mouth closed firmly, and a strong and steady breath drawn. Exhalation
is done through the mouth, with the tongue in the normal position and the teeth clamped
together. The eyes remain closed during the entire exercise.
The practice should be studied from an experienced master only. KAYA
KALPA", practiced properly, solidifies the sexual vital fluid; Aswini Mudra and Ojus
Breath performed under the tutelage of a Guru, even rid one of the past imprints: the
body is rejuvenated and youthfulness retained; death is postponed indefinitely" -

Ojus breath carries the life energy particles and Bio-magnetism to the brain, from
where it spreads all over the body.

5.2 KAYA KALPA PRACTICE - AN EXPLANATION :

The practice of kaya kalpa tones up the nerves in the genital area. which are
situated very close to the anal opening. The sexual vital fluid. which flows down from the
brain, and is richly supplied with the life energy particles, is located here. During Aswini
Mudra, the sexual vital fluid is churned thoroughly, which makes the life energy particles
gather together and rise to the surface, like butter in a pail of milk. An ojus breath, drawn
at this time, carries the life energy particles and Bio-magnetism to the brain through the
spinal cord, from where it spreads to all the parts of the body. The cells are provided with
fresh life energy, which in addition to the normal supply received during the course of the
life energy circulation. The body is rejuvenated and strengthened. Kayakalpa exercise is
to be performed in three postures, viz. stand sitting, and lying. A change in the posture
helps activate the organs in the body, increasing the circulation of Bio-magnetism
everywhere. The exercises can be performed within 10 minutes every day: 3 minutes in
the morning, 3 in the evening. 3 minutes in the eating times and 1 in the night, but the
benefits last an entire lifetime kayakalpa can be performed before every meal or drinking
a glass of water, which only adds to its benefits.

When the ojus is raised to the crown of the head and the mind focused here in
meditation, Ashwini Mudra performed prior to every meal, sleep and sexual activity,
the sexual vital fluid is thickened; vitality increases, diseases are warded off, youth
retained and the quantity of the sexual vital fluid and Bio-magnetism increase. This
esoteric practice is Kaya Kalpa"

5.4 THE MISSION OF KAYA KALPA:

1). A long life by postponing death.

2). Putting off old age and retaining youth
3). Good health

It is possible to live long by delaying the ageing process and retaining youth. The ways to
achieve this was known to the Siddha saints of yore, who left behind records of their
research, in the form of poems; yet their secrets remained hidden from all, for many
centuries. In the words of Saint-poet Sivavakkiyar. "The life energies stored in the
Mooladhara, when raised to the head, make even the old young the body bums to glow"
Vethathiri Maharishi, who undertook a study of the methods of the saints for nearly
(forty years, was able to formulate a practice through which the energies could he raised
as mentioned above, which he propagated amongst the people for the benefit of all this
method is the love in the crown of the system of Simplified Kundalini Yoga.

KAYAKALPA-AN EXPLANATION:

The human body is made up of a physical body, the sexual vital fluid, life force,
bio-magnetism and mind.

1. The physical body comprises of millions of cells made up of life energy particles.
2. The food we cat transforms into the seven constituents of the body. Sexual vital fluid
is the seventh constituent.
3. The free energy particles that circulate within the body constitute the life energy.

during the course of their circulation, they pass through the sexual vital fluid which
rejuvenates them.
4. Formative Dust that make up each energy particle, are expelled during the course of
their circulation within the body. This is bio-magnetism
5. Bio-magnetism is utilised by the body for its normal functions. It also functions as the
mind.

In and around every cell infinitesimally tiny particles are circulating. each of
which keeps rotating about its ill. Due to this self-rotation a "centrifugal force" is
generated. This particle is called the "life-force". On account of this self-rotation a
"spreading wave" is given rise to, from the life Force and it spread throughout the body.
Collectively this wave is called "bio-magnetism". This is the main fuel for all the
metabolic routines of the physical body. A small portion of this wave is released through
the sense organs –skin, ears, eyes nose and tongue after being converted into pressure,
sound, light, smell and taste. This spreading wave of the life-force is called “bio-
magnetism” or “human magnetism”. The bio-magnetism is that which maintains the
polar attraction between the cells and prevents disintegration of the body.

ROLE BIO-MAGNETISM

When this bio-magnetism flowing in the body is obstructed at some point the
polarity between the cells is disturbed. Regularly flowing magnetism gets Stagnated. It is
the nature of the cells to convert the magnetism into electricity. When the stagnated
magnetism is electrified it becomes abnormal and cannot be absorbed or tolerated by the
surrounding cells. It becomes a short circuit and starts burning the cells. If this short
circuit affects a small area and lasts only for a short time, that experience is "pain"; If it
extends in area or duration it is called "Disease". When the bio-magnetism is wholly
exhausted it signifies "Death". The cells in the physical body are held together by the bio-
magnetism. When the bio-magnetism becomes weak, the cells cannot be held together
properly and this is evidenced by fatigue. One cannot even stand up and feel like lying
down. If this bio-magnetism becomes weaker and weaker, at some point the cells can no
longer be held together at all. Therefore, they disintegrate and death is the result. Now the
value of bio-magnetism is understood. Needless to say, if the bio-magnetism has to be
increased or intensified, the number or the quantity of the life-force particles has to be

stepped up. What is it that retains these life-force particles in the body? It is only the
sexual vital fluid. The sexual fluid is like a battery for the life force. Whatever is the
quantity and quality of the sexual vital fluid, that much will be the strength and character
of the life-force and bio-magnetism.

THE SEXUAL VITAL FLUID:

The flow of electrons in a copper wire is called electricity; similarly the flow of
the life energy particles all over the body is called the life energy Circulation. The
quantity of the electrons and the current generated by a battery depends on the quantity
and the quality of the acid and water it contains. In the same way the quality and quantity
of the life energy particles depend on the quality and quantity of the sexual vital fluid in
the body.

The quantity of the life energy particles goes down when the quantity the quality
of the sexual vital fluid is affected. This in turn affects the unity of bio-magnetism,
whereby the functioning of the body and the mind affected adversely. The sexual vital
fluid is the basic component for the Formation, qualities, development, functioning and
effects of the human body. Just as a seed contains the blueprint of an entire tree within it,
the sexual vital fluid contains the entire structure and qualities of a human being within it.
The quality of the tree depends on the quality of the seed; the qualities of the child
depend on the quality of the sexual vital fluid of its parents.

5.5 SIMPLIFIED KAYA KALPA PRACTICES

A few, among the vast multitudes, born on this planet, have reached glorious heights in
the form of scholars, seers, saints and scientists. The attempts made by some of them to
serve humankind, by finding ways to live Jong and in good health, by eradicating
diseases and other forms of misery have borne fruit. The research undertaken by them
into the nature and functions of the body, mind and the soul, have revealed the close links
among the three. They realised that the body, mind and soul have to be in total harmony
with each other for a healthy existence; in fact, even death can be postponed, if need be.
They came up with the practice of Kaya Kalpa for this purpose. Kaya Kalpa is not a drug
or medicine; it is an exercise which involves the body, mind and the soul. "Kaya means
the physical body, and "Kalpa means wellbeing, health, strength; Kaya Kalpa therefore
means a healthy and long life, as the name suggests.

5.6 TRANSFORMATION OF FOOD TO SEXUAL VITAL FLUID:

The food we eat undergoes transformation into the seven constituents of the body,
viz. juice, blood, flesh, fat, bones, bone marrow and the sexual vital fluid. The sexual
vital fluid is the seventh and is also called as the reproductive fluid.

1). The food is digested by the alimentary canal and converted into a liquid that is
absorbed by the small intestines. This is juice.
2). The liquid matter is converted into blood with the help of the chemicals in the body.
3). A part of the blood becomes flesh
4). The oil content from the blood is converted into fat.
5). Calcium from the fit becomes bones.
6). A portion of the calcium that has not solidified into bones becomes the marrow
within the bones. A portion of it becomes the brain

called the sperm in males and ova, in the females.
Around 80 drops of blood are required to produce a drop of marrow and around 80 drops
of marrow, to form a single drop of the sexual vital fluid Physically the sexual vital fluid
resembles dew on a blade of grass. It retains its physical form for 21 days, after which it
undergoes transformation into the mind for the next 3 days.

The sexual vital fluid can be retained in the body by merging the mind with the
Divine Consciousness but when under the influence of inordinate desires, it undergoes
transformation into the mind at a very fast rate. It can be seen that each drop of sexual
vital fluid is equal to 6400 drops of blood and it should not therefore be wasted.
Excessive excretion leads to weakness and ill health. The presence of sexual vital fluid is
not restricted to any one part of the body alone; it is suffused all over the body, much like
butter in a pail of un-churned milk, When ripe and ready for excretion, it collects in the
brain, from where it descends to the genetic center. The sexual vital fluid is the primal
force behind both the physical and mental capabilities of man. It is the first stage in the
life and existence of a human being. Its presence ensures the continuity of the human

IMPORTANCE OF KAYA KALPA:

The sixth sense in man is capable of comprehending the laws of Nature and
prevailing over them to a certain extent. This ability enables man to control the outflow
of the life energy particles from the body and extend his ne span. The quantity of Bio-
magnetism can be increased only through an increase in the number of life energy
particles in the body, which requires augmenting the quality and quantity of the sexual
vital fluid. A lone life without illness becomes possible, onset of old age can be delayed
and a youthful appearance maintained for long.

The life energy particles can be retained within the body by thickening the sexual
vital fluid: when the urge to live no more wells up, the functioning f the mind can be

6.1 INTRODUCTION :

Man has been engaged in the pursuit of physical, mental and spiritual health and
wellbeing, from the time he became aware of his body, mind and soul. The practices for
intensification of bio-magnetism were the result of his research into the matter. Various
practices like gazing at the Guru or other noble persons, one's own shadow. water
pictures, lamp and mirror, were adopted in the olden days. Vethathiri Maharishi, after
years of research, came to the conclusion that lamp gazing and mirror gazing were the
best and ideal for all. Let us now take a look at the practices and their benefits.

BIO-MAGNETISM:

Bio-magnetism plays an important part in the body of the living beings. Millions
of life energy particles circulate within the body, each of which is made up of countless
Formative Dust particles. The life energy particles rotate on their own, during the course
of which Formative Dust are expelled from them in the form of magnetic waves. These
magnetic waves constitute bio-magnetism, which takes care of the physical and mental
functions of the living being. Bio-magnetism fills the body and forms the magnetic body
or the causal body of the person. It is also called as the Pranava Sareerem.

Bio-magnetism and universal magnetism function in harmony with each other.

Universal magnetism fills the entire Universe and it is possible for person to attract

Lamp gazing and mirror gazing are done by looking at a lamp or a mirror in a
prescribed manner. When gazing at the lamp or the mirror, bio-magnetism in the eyes is
transformed into light. The eyes are then closed, covered with the palms, and the mind is
focused on the body, when intensification of bio-magnetism takes place. By repeating the
process of shrinking and expanding at will, the mind gets the ability to intensify the bio-
magnetism whenever the need arises. This practice also increases the strength of the light
rays emanating from the eyes.

6.2 MIRROR GAZING:

Mirror gazing is done by sitting in front of a mirror and gazing at the reflection in
the mirror for some time. The eyes are then closed, covered with the palms, and the flow
of energy all over the body visualized.

Five types of functions take place n our body. Bio-magnetism transforms into
pressure, sound, light, taste and smell within the body it also transforms into the mind
that perceives all the other transformation Magnetism is the result of the combined action

If an object is seen let us say, on unit of light energy is given off by the object.

When this happens, bio-magnetism within the body also undergoes transformation into
light energy and exudes from the eyes. The light energy that flows out is blocked by the
object and returns to the eyes, whereby the object 'seen' the object and the process is
called 'seeing', with the eyes. When an object is seen the mind takes the shape of the
object. If one looks at a tree and the mind assumes the shape and the quality of the tree,
which is different from us. Every object seen produces an image in the mind, different
from our own physical shape. But when one looks at a mirror, our own image is seen
which is the same as our physical body, The image in the mirror is our own reflection

be utilised to heal people. A bowl of water is taken and energized by staring at it. After
some time, the surface of the water turns hazy, as if steam were rising from it. This is on
account of the bio-magnetism coming out of our eyes, the waves given off by the life
energy particles,

bio-magnetism flows out from it. The magnetic quality of the life energy particles causes
them to reflect even the light waves, on account of which we can see them, spread in the
water. This quality is visible only in light and not in the dark. The water, energised
through the gazing, can be given to a patient, who takes lour mouthfuls of it. This should
not, however be done during the initial stages of mirror gazing. At least a week of daily
practice should have preceded the treatment, for it to become effective, The energised
water, during the initial stages, is poured on the plants; at the end of a week it becomes
effective and can be used to treat a patient,

Mirror gazing was practised regularly, by Saint Ramalinga Swami, during the
early hours of dawn, very often with the help of a small oil lamp. After he had attained
Samadhi, his disciples, unaware of the practice or the benefits of lamp gazing followed
his practice by praying in front of a mirror with lighted lamp placed before it

6.4 LAMP GAZING:

Lamp gazing involves gazing at the lamp for some time, closing the eyes with the
palms and visualizing the energy spreading all over the body. During this process impure
bio-magnetism is expelled from the body and pure universal magnetism is taken in.
Gazing at the lamp increases the rate of conversion of bio-magnetism in the body in
accordance with the quality of the light waves emanating from the lamp. When the eyes
are closed and covered with the palms, universal magnetism flows into the body at the
same rate, intensifying the bio-magnetism within. The process is repeated every time the
eyes are closed as a result of which a person, who practises amp gazing regularly, is able
to intensify the bio-magnetism at will. He remains active and energetic all the time.

6.4.1 RULES REGARDING LAMP GAZING:

Lamp and mirror gazing should be done between 3.00 and 9.00AM in the
morning. The hours between 3.00 and 6.00AM is called the Brahma muhurtham.
Whereas it is ideal to do lamp and mirror gazing between 4.30 and 7.00AM, the time
before sunrise is the best.

The earth revolves at a speed of around 15, 50.000 miles per day around the sun.
It rotates at a speed of around 1000 miles per hour on its own axis. The rotation of the
earth, in the direction of the sun during the early hours of dawn, causes universal
magnetism to flood the earth and strike the bodies of the living creatures. It can be
compared to the wind that strikes our faces when travelling i in a vehicle. This time of the
day is ideal for practising lamp and mirror gazing. It should be practiced at least twice a
week.

6.5 ASTRAL PROJECTION:

Whenever one look at anything, bio-magnetism is projected from the body, which
in the case of a normal person is around 5% only. Along the bio magnetism. life energy
particles are also projected from the body. For example, rainwater rushing along the
ground carries pieces of rock and soil also, along with it. But the weight of the rocks and
soil prevents them from travelling at the same speed as the rainwater. In the same way,
when bio-magnetism flows out of the body, a certain amount of life energy particles are
also carried along with it. This is astral projection.

When astral projection is practiced regularly through mirror gazing the period
taken for the projection may come down to 10 minutes or even 5 minutes in course of
time. It may even be possible achieve this in 2 minutes through constant practice. As the
pressure of bio-magnetism increases through diligent practice, projection can even take
place immediately on looking at a mirror: To make good the reduction in the quantity of
bio-magnetism, on account of astral projection, universal magnetism automatically flows

As astral projection continues, realisation about the importance of the life

energies and the role of the physical body as a mere vessel for the life energies becomes
clear The practitioner goes into a trance like state begins to look on the soul as the "I",
instead of the physical body.

Regular practice of mirror gazing increases the level of bio-magnetism in the

body. People are drawn to us and are tempted to remain and interact with us. They go out
