building up this training to lead the PLC or Drive Beginners to start up with
Siemens Servo System.

In this Training we will explain how can you configure and Run SINAMICS
Drives

Wirings
1- Line Reactor Wiring with smart line module.
You have to connect 1U1 – 1V1 – 1W1 to your Circuit breaker of the
Energy network then you have to connect 1U2 – 2V1 – 2W1 to The
Smart Line Module.

Motor Wiring
In our case we have connected our motor’s orange cable to X1 plug

The Black Cables have numbers from 1 till 5

1, 2, and 3 for energy and 4(+) and 5(-) 24Vdc of brake control.

It is very important to be carefully to never connect to cable number 2 in the


place of number 1 or 3 because the drive would be have angular fault.

- For First time downloading and best performance of communication
you have to put the CPU in Stop Mode and Close all SIMATIC Step 7
Manager Tools (LDB---SCL HW-Config ----ECT).
- By Clicking on the CPU item on the left side of the Setp-7 manager
then press PLC item on the top of the Step 7 , and press the
“Compile and Download Objects”

- Press Start To Be Sure all the blocks and connection are compiled
and downloaded together.

Select “Store Additional Data on Target Device”

Select “After Loading Copy RAM to ROM”
