Pre-Lesson Guess the equipment Formative Assessment:

 Put up pictures of playground equipment on the board. Quick scan
 Prepare flashcards with the names of the equipment, but do not
put these up on the board.
 Teacher calls six volunteers to the front of the class and match
the flashcard to the right picture.
 Teacher introduces the poem ‘At the Playground’.

Lesson  Pupils recite the poem together. 21st Century Learning skills:
