Lesson Writing an email to a pen pal Formative Assessment:

Tips on writing an email


Contents:

• Begin your email with Hi! or Hello!


• Write about you, your family and your hobby/hobbies.
• End your email with your name.

Mechanics:

• Start your sentences with capital letters.


• Use capital letters for proper nouns.
• End your sentences with full stops or question
marks (if you want to ask).
