Maintenance Period
To guarantee safety and economic running,
standard inspection and maintenance shall be
carried out periodically as per the items stipulated
in this Chapter.
Maintenance of the engine under general
conditions.
The oil for the engine of a new vehicle shall be
changed or adjusted after the vehicle travels
3,000 km and for every 7,500 km afterwards.
Maintenance of engine under extreme
conditions.
Diesel engine: the oil for the engine of a new
vehicle should be changed or adjusted after the
vehicle travels 3,000 km and for every 3,000 km
afterwards.
Gasoline engine: the oil for the engine of a new
vehicle should be changed or adjusted after running
6,000 km and for every 6,000 km afterwards.
Frequent short-distance journey
Check the friction lining and brake drum of the
rear wheel brake, as well as the pedal and brake
disk of the front brake as required for every 5,000
km and repair or replace them if necessary.
Check the exhaust pipe and its mounting comp-
onents for every 10,000 km.
Traveling on bumpy road
Check the friction lining and brake drum of the
steering system and rear wheel brake, as well
as the pedal and brake disk of the front brake
for every 5,000 km, and repair or replace them if
necessary.
Check the exhaust pipe and its mounting com-
ponents for every 10,000 km.
Traveling on dusty road
Check the friction lining and brake drum of the
rear wheel brake, as well as the pedal and brake
disk of the front brake for every 5,000 km, and
repair or replace them if necessary.
Replace the oil filter for every 6,000 km.
Replace the air cleaner for every 20,000 km.
Change the transmission and differential oil
for the first time after the initial 20,000 km, and
change them every 10,000 km afterwards.

Traveling in cold season
Check the exhaust pipe and its mounting com-
ponents for every 10,000 km.
Multi-point inspection
It’s recommended to inspect the following items
during each service cycle:
● Check and add brake fluid, coolant, transmission
oil, power steering fluid (if provided), and
window cleaning fluid.
● Check wearing condition of tires and whether
the pressure is normal, including spare tire.
● Check the exhaust system for air leakage,
damage, loosened parts, or foreign matters.
● Check properties of the battery.
● Check whether the horn, exterior lamps, turn
signal lamp, and hazard warning lamp work
properly.
● Check the radiator, cooler, and the air-
conditioner hose.
● Check whether the windshield washer and
wiper work properly.
● Check whether there are any cracks, fra-
gments, and pits on the windshield glass.
● Check whether there is any oil or fluid leakage.
● Check the air cleaner.
● Check the shock absorber and other sus-
pension modules for oil leakage and damage.
● Check the steering gear and steering linkages.
● Check whether the clutch works properly.
● Check the belt.

Regular Maintenance
1,000 km
● Adjust valve clearance.
● Check the transmission and the transmission
with transfer case for oil leakage, and repair or
replace it if necessary.
● Check whether the differential leaks oil, and
repair or replace it if necessary.
● Check the travel of the brake pedal.
● Tighten the wheel retaining nut to the specified
torque.
● Adjust the valve clearance (vehicles that reach
1,000 km for the first time).
5000 km or 3 months (Based on the readings
of milometer or months, carry out repair and
maintenance according to the period coming
first). Inspect the following items, and replace
them if necessary.
● Idling and accelerating inspection and calibration.
● Inspect the filter element of the air cleaner.
● Check the engine oil.
● Replace the oil filter (gasoline vehicles or die-
sel vehicles that reach 5,000 km or 3 months
for the first time).
● Check the fuel system.
● Tighten the cylinder cover bolts up to the spe-
cified torque (gasoline vehicle).
● Adjust the valve clearance (vehicles reaching
5,000 for the first time).
● Check the throttle valve body (gasoline vehicle).
● Check the spark plug (gasoline vehicle).
● Check the cooling system for water leakage.
● Check the fan belt for tensity and damages.
● Check the function of the clutch and the travel
of clutch pedal.
● Check the transmission for oil leakage.
● Tighten the cardan and spline up to the spec-
ified torque.
● Check the differential for oil leakage.
● Lubricate the cardan and spline.
● Check the power steering system for oil leakage.
● Check the steering wheel play.
● Steering function.

● Check the braking system for oil leakage.
● Check braking function of the brake.
● Check the travel and free travel of the brake pedal.
● Check whether the connection between the
brake pipe and the hose get loosened or
damaged.
● Check the parking brake function.
● Check whether the parking brake cable gets
loosened or damaged and the guide gets
damaged.
● Check the leaf spring and mounting frame for
damages.
● Tighten the wheel retaining nut up to the spe-
cified torque.
● Check the wheel disk.
● Check the tire pressure.
● Check the electric wiring and terminal for loo-
seness and damages.
10,000 km or 6 months (Based on the readings
of milometer or months, carry out repair and
maintenance according to the period coming first).
● Idling and accelerating inspection and calibration.
● Replace the filter element of the air cleaner
(traveling under extreme conditions).
● Check the engine oil.
● Replace the oil filter (gasoline vehicle).
● Check the fuel system.
● Check the fuel filter (diesel vehicle).
● Check the injection pressure and atomization
condition of the fuel injector (diesel vehicle).
● Check fuel injection timing (diesel vehicle).
● Check the throttle valve body (gasoline vehicle).
● Check the spark plug (gasoline vehicle).
● Check the cooling system for water leakage.
● Check the fan belt for tensity and damages.
● Check cooling system pipeline for plugging or
damages.
● Check the function of the clutch and the travel
of clutch pedal.
● Change transmission fluid or fluid for the
transmission with transfer case.
● Check the transmission for oil leakage.
● Check whether the connection of the drive
shaft gets loosened.

● Lubricate the cardan and spline.
● Check the differential for oil leakage.
● Check the power steering system for oil
leakage.
● Check the steering system for looseness or
damages.

● Check braking function of the brake.

● Tire rotation.
● Check voltage of the battery.
● Check the electric wiring and terminal for loo-
seness or damages.
● Check the bolts and nuts on chassis and body.
15,000 km or 9 months (Based on the readings
of milometer or months, carry out repair and
maintenance according to the period coming first).
● Idling and accelerating inspection and calibration.
● Check the filter element of the air cleaner.
● Check the engine oil.
● Replace the oil filter.

● Change the filter element of the air cleaner.
● Check engine oil.
● Check the filter element of the oil filter.
● Check the fuel system.
● Tighten the cylinder head bolts up to the
specified torque (gasoline vehicle).
