User manual to fill up exam registration form – Basic Course in Biomedical Research

1. Go to www.swayam.gov.in
2. Click sign-in tab

3. By using Google, Sign-in with your registered user id and password

4. Click on MY COURSES and click on Go to Course
5. In the course page click Announcements

6. Click on the URL

7. Click on Registration for Basic course in Biomedical Research
8. By selecting ‘Yes’ for disability; select type of disability from dropdown if applicable
9. Further information should be filled based on the disability selected, If not select ‘No’
10. If you select ‘Visually impaired with scribe’ provide Scribe details.
11. If you select ‘Orthopedically Handicapped’ in type of disability, fill up the requirement for need
of elevator.
12. If your disability (any disability listed) is >=40%, upload disability certificate
13. If you select ‘yes’ for SC/ST, upload certificate
14. Current role: Select either student or faculty
15. College Name: Select ‘Others’ to enter college name; Enter full name of your college
(eg., Madras Medical College)
16. Degree: Select from four options given (Medical-MD, Medical – MS, Medical – Master of Public
Health, Medical – PG Diploma)
17. Department: Select department from drop down list
18. Year of study: Select from drop down list
19. Other details: Select ‘college’ for ‘How did you know about these courses?’
20. Select ‘Mandated by college’ for ‘Motivation for doing the course’
21. Select ‘No’ for ‘Are you taking this exam for credit transfer?’
22. Select ‘No’ for ‘Can we share scores with your college?’
23. Select ‘No’ for ‘Can we share your contact with information potential employers?’
24. Address details: Fill your address details in the provided text box and it will get automatically
appear in ‘certificate address’
25. Confirm the postal address by clicking the check box.
26. Photo and Signature upload: Photo and signature should be uploaded in the appropriate field.
Size: Minimum 50KB, Maximum 150 KB
27. Course details: Select ‘Basic course in Biomedical Research’
28. Exam date: Select any one from drop down list of three dates
29. Exam session: Select session from drop down list
30. Exam state and Exam city: Select exam state and Exam city details according to your priority in
the given list
31. Click ‘View cart and proceed to pay’
32. Fill the captcha
33. Click on the check box and agree and to proceed for ‘Pay Now’
34. Complete the application submission by selected secured online payment.
