I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson the students will be able to:
a. Transform or change declarative sentences into WH, and YES/NO Questions.
b. Formulate WH, and YES/NO Questions based from the story.
c. Value the importance of asking questions.
III. PROCEDURE
A. Review
Ask the students who were the characters in the story. Let another student describe the
mentioned character.
Let the students find the conflict in the story and how it was solved by the character.
Let the students know the theme of the story.
Let the students know the moral lessons learned from the story.
B. Motivation
Let the students answer the following questions:
What makes a good relationship?
Whom do you care for?
How do you give importance to your loved ones?
Do you offer yourself for the benefits of others?
Are you happy with how you treat your brothers and sisters?
C. Discussion
Discuss the topic thru the use of power point presentation
Entertaining questions and clarifications from the students
D. Activities
(Divide the students into 3 groups)
Group 1: From the story “Footnote To Youth” look for examples of interrogative sentences, list 5 and
identify if each is a WH question or a Yes/No questions

5 Yes/No Questions based from the story.
