1. Description of Item:
Design, manufacturing, inspection and testing, packing and supply of 1.1 kV grade, XLPE
insulated, FRLS PVC sheathed, galvanized steel round wire armoured copper cable for Sl. No. 1
to 7, flexible copper cables for Sl. No. 8 & 9 and bare copper conductor for Sl. No. 10 to 12
confirming to IS 7098 (Part -1), IS 5831 & IS 8130 as per given technical specification. Safe
delivery of the material to WIP stores, Kalpakkam is in the scope of supplier.

Note:

1. Electrolytic grade copper should be used in the manufacturing of cables and bare
copper conductors.
2. Bidder should submit the catalogue and test certificates of cables including test
certificate for purity of copper.
3. All tests will be carried out as per IS-7098 part I and other applicable standards
before delivery of the material.
4. The bidder should be a manufacturer of cables and shall have adequate
infrastructure in terms of manufacturing and testing of the material to fully confirm
the technical specification.
5. The firm should not have incurred any loss in more than three years during the last
five financial years. Bidder should submit profit loss statement for last 5 years.
