In the given 7 core values of National University, I chose compassion because as an

individual I am kind-hearted and always showing concern to others. There are so many ways to describe
the feelings that can be linked with compassion. In some way, shape or form, we have all given or
received compassion, and it is important to always be compassionate no matter what the circumstance.
I think it is vital to everyone that they live compassionately because it will also tune them into how
others feel and they can all communicate and understand each other better. In addition for that,
Compassion is having the sympathy of others, letting them feel the love and care. It can be the feeling of
deep sorrow or fortune for another. It is having the keen to help for others without expecting any
return. Showing kindness is one of this because we all know that in this world full of judgmental and
hypocrite people, only rare people can show kindness without expecting to get a return from the people
they help. For me, it has the momentous feeling when you help others, when you show kindness to
everybody. Each of us have many problems behind our beautiful stories so be kind; be the magnanimous
one in this world full of degenerate society. You must understand the emotional state of one person or
oneself. Feeling the pain or distress one a one person and having the desire to soothe that suffering of
an individual. For this situation, as much as I can help even it is a small things to do, I know for that
certain people it is s very big help for them. I'm just genuine happy to see them smile without expecting
in return. It is a great pleasure for me to help also the people who are in needs. As much as I can help,
I'm willing to. I remembered a grandfather that I'm helping, well I know it's just a small amounts that
I'm giving; every time I saw him in front of the church of Bustillos, I'm always giving him a little amount
of money like I said to myself , " I must do this when I'm seeing him here" even though he cannot
recognized me, my heart is genuinely happy for giving him a little amount of money because it is a big
help. And another one is, As a student, when I walk in the road and seeing a child or people that sitting
around the fast-food chain and have a plastic cup in their hands, Suddenly realization came in that I'm
lucky to have this kind of life. I always thought to myself that even in the simple way, I want to help
them. Because at the end of the day, I realized that I'm lucky person having my family in my life and buy
the things that I need and want. Also, I really see myself as having compassion for them. I know and I
understand what they go through in their life and feel like I identify with them on an emotional level,
where I feel what they are feeling at that time and then go through with the act of leaving a joy in their
life even in a short period of time. You, me and every one of us can make every one happy by simply
helping then even it is just a little, you can change a persons life because of that.

To sum it up, good deeds must always choose. It must be the above to have that kind
of compassion. Good deeds will do a difference in one's own life.
