automation exhibition in Asia, IAS this year specialized
in the six sectors of embedded technology, movement
control systems, intelligent sensing and connection,
pneumatic s, smar t fac tor y cons truc tion and
upgrade, and transmission. In the 65,540 square
meters of exhibition area, there were 687 famous
manufacturers including Advantech, Misumi, Omron,
Delta, Invt, Inovance, Pilz, Weidmüller, Eplan, ELCO,
Rittal, Balluff, Hiwin, Desoutter, Servotronix Motion

IAS - most reflecting the direction of advanced

manufacturing, was expanded again with Hall 6.2
to meet the growing demand for exhibitors. It has
been committed to introducing the world-leading
manufacturing technology and Germany Industrie
4.0 to the exhibition. IAS comprehensively showcased
the latest intelligent solutions and technological
achievements made in the automation and machine tool
industries, providing a high-level commercial platform of
connections for exhibitors and visitors to experience the
international cutting-edge manufacturing and in-depth
exchanges of industry trends.

manufacturing industry, I am inspired by the exhibits displayed at this CIIF and am proud the innovation
brought by the fast development of intelligent manufacturing! Traditional devices have integrated with more
advanced automation technology, computing technology, Internet communication technology and motion
control technology! Industrial automation and robot exhibition that we mainly visit are overwhelmed us
with various robot devices and robot visual technology. The data analysis of various information system
adds another exciting dimension to this CIIF. At this exhibition, manufacturers launch more top-notched
and practical products, represents the latest development of intelligent manufacturing. With intelligent
manufacturing and IoT technology continuously upgrading in the future, we believe that more and more new
products will enter the market and drive the intelligent manufacturing technology ahead.

This year, we have over 230 employees attended the show. The most impressed us is AGV laser navigation
(map-based non-reflective), which could travel across people onsite with a strong capacity of barrier detection.
Robots have also been increasingly applied in the industry, from the original large and medium-sized robots
to micro-robots, from the gravity-type to light-weight development. Matching vision enables the robot’s
automatic screw-punching function, effectively realizing the unmanned operation. The holistic intelligent
manufacturing system is based on lean, integrating automation and informatization into production.
Through information setup and taking products as an input point, the processing and testing devices could
be automatically called in line with product characteristics, realizing the rapid delivery of batch customized
products. The exhibition inspires us a lot and we learn a lot from it! We will definitely attend the next CIIF and
wish it a greater success!
