PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The design is simple...oil enters the top of the switch and is
passed through a perforated board that holds an electrical grid.
The oil is sampled as it passes through the electrical grid and
then exits through the bottom of the switch.

This grid remains open until the time that a metal chip or metal
particle bridges the gap in the electrical grid which will close the
circuit. This can be wired to either an alarm or a shutdown relay
depending on the operators requirements.
