Course Title TECHNICAL SKETCHING AND MECHANICAL DRAWING
Course Credits 3 Units
Course Description This course is intended as reference to technology students in technical drafting. It contains basic engineering construction whether it be engine part design,
product design, constructional design or any component part of an object that requires a well prepared working plan before it is fabricated. It conveys all the
necessary information for its construction to project accurate product. Another significant component of this study includes original designing of article in
accord with the present demand in industry or in business world. In line with this view, a working drawing or plan embraces pictorial drawing w/c is a
graphical representation of an object, Orthographic projection where all views, notes, and specifications are depicted, detail drawing w/c shows the inner
construction of the object, and bill of materials the itemized list of materials and supplies needed. The students are also taught and trained the science and
art of technical drafting.

Class Attendance: Regular attendance is expected. Should there be absences; the same must be strictly followed.
Class Deportment. Everyone must observe professional behavior at all times and shall maintain civil discourse throughout
Class time. Disagreements/dissentions have to be anchored on reason and respect and should be discussion-hinged. Leaving
the class other than to attend to emergencies and personal necessities is highly discouraged. Moreover, cell phone are
discouraged to be used during class hours, hence, it must be on silent mode.
