Dear Participant,

As required by the Caribbean Sector Education Council, we fifth form students


of Queen’s College, are obliged to conduct research and document our findings on any topic in
the Additional Mathematics Syllabus. The topic chosen is based on statistical determination of
whether absenteeism from school affects students’ overall grades.

This letter serves as a request for you to answer this questionnaire which we compiled by placing
a tick beside your response to each question.
