Introduction

Manihot escuelenta commonly called cassava is a woody shrub native to America in the spurge

family. It is exclusively cultivated to t tropical and subtropical regions around the world for its

edible starchy tuberous roots, and a major source of carbohydrates. Though it is often called

yucca a fruit bearing shrub from the family Asparagaceae. When dried to a powder form extract

is call tapioca. Its fried and granular form is called garri.

Cassava is the largest source of carbohydrates next to maize. It is the major staple food in the

developing world, providing the basic diet for over half of a billion people. It's a growth tolerant

crop, capable of growing in the marginal soil.

In rural areas in the Philippines, cassava is highly recommended food for Filipinos. Its demand in

terms of a tropical and exchange food is well practice.

Business Background
The Business was named "TaronTwo Garden café" because Taron came from the

combination of Taro or other name of cassava and Turon a typical Street food containing

banana, and two means peace and partnership. It is a place which serve home made and special

food and coffee for everyone. It started as an idea of a certain friend whose now the one of the

owner that why not add a twist to a favorite cassava and Turon which made it Taron. Since

cassava is the most common crop of every one in Calminue, the owners think of possible

product it can be and they came up to the idea of making it that way with a twist adding a

burned rice espresso coffee as a drink specially for those who having a stomachache.

Mission

To provide a place to stop for everyone specially for those who waits Everytime. TaronTwo

Garden café will give a perfect food combination that will make every sad people happiness.

Vision

TaronTwo Garden café creates staple food and coffee to promote cassava product as a perfect

replacement for rice meal. These will help you discover the real meaning of cooked with love

and passion, a home made food for everyone. It will give a very great service that you deserve.

Objectives

The main objective of this business is to produced cassava products. The following are the other

objectives of TaronTwo Garden café:

 To be a place to stay and have some time.


 To create jobs for those who are capable, experienced and dedicated along the area.
To provide a quality food and service for all.

 To introduced cassava products and burned rice espresso coffee in the market. and;
 To gain profit or income.

MARKETING ANALYSIS

Product

The products of TaronTwo Garden café are Taron and burned rice espresso coffee. Taron is made

from cassava while burned rice espresso coffee is made from the name itself burned rice.
Price

Taron will be sold in 5.00 per piece, while the burned rice espresso coffee will be 15.00 per cup.

Both of these are depending upon how many the customer will order. In this case it will be

affordable specially for the students.

Place

The business is located at Sitio Calminue Brgy. Cansuso Cavinti, Laguna. In front of Calminue

Integrated National High school. This location is very reachable for the citizens of said location.

People

The location of the business is in front of the School, the potential customers are the students

both in Elementary and High School, Teachers, Citizens, and passers by.

Promotion and packaging

Posters and flyers are the best kind of promoting business. It is highly capable to post posters as

a strategy. Since Filipinos are fan of music, it is possible to add music to the ambiance.

To attract more customers, TaronTwo Garden café be promoted through the following:

Oral Promotion. The owner's will talk about their product with their friends, relatives,

neighbors and acquaintances.

Tarpaulin. It will be put in front of their store containing the business name, logo, and tagline.
Leaflets. Leaflets will be distributed as an advertising material to target customers for them to

know what are the best in regards with the business.

Social Media. TaronTwo Garden café will have a Facebook page and email address for the

customers to know more about the business' happenings and also for suggestions.

packaging of Taron is for plate if serve inside the cafe, in the other hand, if it is take out meal,

the packaging will be in a plate also but covered by plastic wrapper with the minimum pieces of

three (3). While the burned rice espresso coffee can be ordered inside and take out also using a

styrofoam cup.

Positioning

products are different from others in many terms. Taron is never been introduced to the

market as well as the burned rice espresso coffee. As a strategy, we gradually make a

personalized plate for the customers engraving their names. For the cup of coffee, we will take a

photo of them the customers and after three times of coming back, their photo is printed in the

coffee mug and served as a souvenir.

Process

The production of products contains two processes; production and selling.

Production. Taron and burned rice espresso coffee will be cooked at the kitchen and served in

the place.
Selling. It will be sold either inside the business vicinity or take out from 6:30 in the morning up

to eight in the evening.

Competitors

The possible competitors are four different sari-sari stores namely Teresa's, Rowena's,

Claire's, and Cheryl's Sari-Sari store. But the ultimatecompetitor of the business is the store

selling the original image of Taron which is Turon, it is called Lanie's snackstore.

 Strength

TaronTwo Garden café sell original cassava product which is Taron and a coffee with many

benefits for the body which is burned rice espresso coffee. This uniqueness served as a strength

for the business to be maintained.

 Weakness

TaronTwo Garden café sell only two products as a start up, those was considered as their

primary weakness.

 Opportunities

TaronTwo Garden café has the ability to become a big hit in the market. Considering its

originality and good service, many opportunities will open someday as the business go further.

 Threats
Many sari sari store business is going well around the vicinity of the business location. These are

the threats that the owners are looking forward to solve with strategies.

PRODUCTION PLAN
The following are the process and procedures of making the business's products:

 Procedure
a) Simmer the cassava roots until it was cooked.
b) Grind the cassava and put in the mixing bowl then put condense milk, sugar and

peanut. Mix well.


c) Wrap using a lumpia wrapper then fry until golden brown.
d) Serve it hot.

 Procedure
a) Put the rice on a pan and mix until it was colored black(sunog).
b) Put enough water as many as the rice capacity.
c) Wait until it simmer then put condense milk.
d) Served it hot.

After this long process, the products are ready to serve for the customers.
