JPIAn Spirit

JPIAn spirit turned the tides, splashed the diversity of identity, echoed their voice and sailed to the month
of July to celebrate the Accountancy Week in the Cagayan de Oro Chapter of Junior Philippine Institute of
Accountants. Most JPIAns already planned to compete and descried some of their friends and classmates
to join interesting competitions. This momentous event was held last July 14-20, 2019 at Liceo de Cagayan
University Gym. It unites junior accountants from the different universities & colleges in Cagayan de Oro
City. Pilgrim Christian College JPIA competed wholeheartedly and have bagged the following awards:

Congratulations to PCC JPIAns who exerted their impressive efforts and sacrificed their time to represent
the school.

Passion and pride they carry to take each internal and external activities. JPIA is a nationwide organization,
led by the National Federation of Philippine Institute of Accountants (NFJPIA) followed by the Regional
Federation of Philippine Institute of Accountants (RFJPIA), and down to every local chapters wherein PCC
is a member of Cagayan de Oro Chapter Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (CCJPIA).

Integrity for they have united during the 18th Regional Midyear Convention held for the very first time in
Pilgrim Christian College last September 28-29, 2019 with the theme "Gilas: Unveiling Flair and Excellence
Continuing the JPIAn Legacy. Seventeen Universities and Colleges all over Region 10 and Caraga Region
have gathered to unveil their stunning skills. Congratulations to all who took part of the event, most
especially to the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cagayan de Oro, to the sponsors,
RFJPIA officers, and to PCC JPIA officers and volunteers spearheaded by PCC President/CEO Prof. Pio D.
Baconga, CPA, MBA, and their PCC JPIA President Jamilah Macabalang. It was indeed a successful event
with much camaraderie have built.

Accountability to their studies, JPIAns act with preparedness and self-discipline. Their priority is to
graduate and become Certified Public Accountants. Even if they go through a lot of extra curriculars, full
time or part time jobs, and student assitance, their body and soul remained sincere to their academics.
That's how their spirit of competence works. That's how JPIAns trek up to the summit. That's the JPIAn
spirit.
