ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to discover the effectiveness of


Paideian Approach in teaching Araling Panlipunan 8 (World History) to
the Grade 8 students in Argao National High School. This has been done
by examining the academic performances of the forty (40) students in
Grade 8 before and after the using the Approach in teaching the subject.
For the span of six (6) months of teaching World History using the said
approach the researcher culminated the study with post-test. The result
was compared with that of the pre-test using T test and that it was found
out to be effective. Moreover it was observed that the students’
responded a positive outlook on the affective side upon the use of the
Paideian approach. The finding of the study would surely give impact to
the teachers and learners in Araling Panlipunan in the K to 12
Curriculum.

despite the time constrain and other dilemmas that the researchers
experienced.

modeling and showcasing the new approach they have benchmarked to
improve teaching Araling Panlipunan 8.

To the Grade 8 students who have undergone the research, that


despite venturing to the unknown approach they still made positive
response and outlook to the researchers.

Above all, the Almighty God, the source of life, strength,


knowledge and wisdom, WHO provided the researchers with abundant
blessings to cope with the task of venturing into this action research;
