Qc4003™ Load Take Over

The purpose of the Load Take Over mode is to transfer the load imported from the mains to the
generator for operation on generator supply only.

OPERATION FLOW

INSTALLATION
• In AUTO mode, it is possible to enable AMF as a
second application. Once enabled, it will ALWAYS
overrule the selected application
• During AMF, it is possible to enable/disable the
back synchronisation feature

CONTROLLER SETTING
SEQUENCE TO ACTIVATE THE LOAD TAKE OVER
• The power management system (PMS) provides a fully intelligent + PMS APPLICATION (MAINS CONTROLLER)
system. After a local or remote start signal it will:
–– Start the necessary generators Generator mode (=Load take Over) channel 6070
–– Close individual Generator breakers after synchronisation Start command through internal channels
real time clock 6600-6670
–– Synchronise the generators with the mains
Stop command through internal channels
–– Close the Tie breaker, if installed real time clock 6600-6670
–– Take over the load according a user-defined ramp Back synchronisation setting of

Mains breaker
–– Disconnect mains once the load measured by the Mains
controller is zero Enable / disable AMF as 2nd application channel 7080
–– Start and stop generators to meet the actual load Int. Communication ID channel 7531
• After a local or remote stop command, the PMS system will:
