Design:

Concentrating on our objective, the design for Portal should be chosen consisting of a single
platform involving all the important aspects required and it must be dynamic which will
show the CDF theme and objective. The portal must provide a single link to all other portals
and projects and the design must focus on the integrity and friendly access to all the users
including – CSR, volunteer, Mentor, Project Initiator and guest-logins. The portal should also
include the gallery and ongoing projects. Therefore, keeping in mind our requirements, first-
of-all a wireframe has been designed. It will provide a rough layout on how the things will be
implemented and displayed. On the basis of this layout, the theme for the portal will be
decided and on what the technology, the task will be executed. Considering such influences,
the decision has been taken for the CMS and desired theme. One such cause in the decision
of the theme is the dashboard and display for other portals as well. It’ll enable the portal in
providing integrity with other portals and projects. So, this site will be considered as the
main initiation site to other portals. The site will also provide the links to their social
connection so if one may have interested, can connect with the organization. The Link for
Facebook, twitter & Instagram has been included which will direct them to their profile.
Moreover, depending on the requirements, decision for the number and types of tabs has
been taken. Considering each tab, the details are as follows:

HOME: It will display the gallery slider, objective, timeline, stories and testimonial. The
purpose for designing in such a way is to provide a general-purpose dashboard and
displaying the works done so far. Moreover, it’ll also focus on inviting new volunteers and
mentors and to provide a creative look. Testimonials are added to ensure the validation and
promotion of the organization. In such way, the site will prove a great portal to collaborate
with other members and project portals.

About Us: The purpose for creating this tab is to provide the organization overview and
brief history. Such details will help the organization to encourage their motive and put their
vision forward. This will help them to bring more volunteers, mentors and project initiators.

Get Involve: It is considered to be a major and most important portion of our portal. It
basically describes the purpose of our portal for which it is being developed. It includes the
login and sing up for other portals and projects as well. Different users like CSR, mentor,
volunteer and project initiator can login to this portal and get involve to the organization
and project. Data and status of their information will be displayed as according to their role
or sign-up. Actually, this is our motive, to get integrate multiple users on a single platform.
After their selected login, they’ll be directed to their desired dashboards where they can
manage their works and projects. Dashboard will show all the information related to the
user and their activities. All such information will be stored on a database and the other
details of their activities are collaborated with other respective portals as well. The task and
purpose for each type of the user has already been mentioned. Depe4nding on their needs,
they can get involve with the organization.

News & Events: This section of our portal describes the ongoing recent events and
activities. On the basis of such events, one can get involve into a project or can be the
member of the organization. This section will also display the latest news and other
important details of the organization. Pictures and Videos links are also included for
illustration and reference purpose.

Contact Us: As it is the basic element of every site, contact us displays the organization
information and address. It’ll also display the map which will enable the user to reach the
organization. This section will also include a form through which one can write to us.
