I'd like to think that the knowledge that you'd gain from working for suppliers
to the automotive and construction equipment sectors, from a purely
mechanical engineering experience standpoint, is unparalleled.
The overall onus is completely on you, if you're of the right caliber, from the
onset. The level of exposure you get when it comes to engineering projects,
dealing with finances, resource management, trouble shooting and customer
interactions isn't something you can attain all at once at a major OEM.

1. GE JFW Tech Center - One of the best research labs in world and one out
four is located in India.
2. ISRO - One of the best govt organisations working in the field of science
and technology.
5. Rolls Royce - One the best engineering companies in the world with a
upcoming technology centre in India.
6. Civil Services : Mech Guys often make one of the best managers. What
could be better than being in Civil Services in that case for a mech engineer.
