A. ORAL PRESENTATION

Each presenter is allocated about 15 minutes including 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes
for discussion. Session chairs will manage time limits strictly so that no presenter may
monopolize other presenter’s time. The session chairs can modify the pattern of presentation, i.e.
the discussion can be performed after several presentations.

Presentation slides is recommended using Microsoft Power Point Versions 97-2003, 2007 or
2010. Your presentation file should be handled to the organizers during registration. ISAC 2015
staffs will be ready in the presentation room to assist you. In case of using a personal Macintosh
computer, please make sure to bring a VGA adaptor and test it first in your presentation room
before the session is started. All presenters are requested to be present in the session room at
least 10 minutes before their session is started. Presenter should stay till the end of their session.

B. POSTER PRESENTATION

Poster presentation is conducted in the front of Royal Palm Room. To anticipate questions from participants
who interested in the posters, it is advised that all posters’ presenters should present near their posters during
poster sessions. All participants are invited to visit poster presentations.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

1. The poster with A1 size (Portrait) [594 mm (width) x 841 mm (height)] should be designed and
prepared by the presenter and it would be placed on a poster board.
2. The poster should be readable presentation with good visual display. Please use the color for
highlighting to make your poster more attractive and also use pictures, diagrams, cartoons, shapes,
figures, etc., rather than only text wherever possible. Avoid everything that can make your poster
look excessively busy, such as boxes around graphs and tables, and long sentences.
3. The content of poster may conveniently be divided into sections, including Introduction,
Objectives, Material and Methods, Result and Discussion, and Conclusion. A page may be
divided into two or three column to utilize blank space efficiently. Abstract, Acknowledgements and
References can be included; if the author thinks it is absolutely necessary and can be helpful.
4. The board will have a sign noting your paper code number. The number is provided by the
Organizing Committee. The code number of your poster was obtained from notification of
acceptance as sent via email.
5. The printed poster should be registered along with poster presenter’s name to the secretariat desk
during the registration period at the first day of the event. Participant is encouraged to come at
the event venue earlier in order to get more time for preparing and mounting the poster on the board.
6. The poster presentation session will be held on the conference day (5-6 October 2015). One of
authors should be present close to the poster during all the period assigned and are expected to be
available for questions at poster sessions. Aim of the poster presentations is to stimulate discussion.
Prepare to summarize your poster in a few sentences, for example, one sentence for the background,
one for the aim, one for the method, a few for the results and one for the conclusion
7. Please remove your poster from the board in the last day (6 October 2015), after the end of the
last poster session. The organizing committee will not responsible for posters that are not removed
on time.

Please always check our website (http://situs.opi.lipi.go.id/isac2015) for other information updates. If
you have any question on the poster guidelines, please send a message to isac@mail.lipi.go.id
