1. Title of the Project:
Notes Management System

2. Objective of the Project:

The main objective of developing this project is to provide notes and presentations to
the users. It is very helpful for users as they can fetch for most efficient and accurate
study material of their courses.
The users can register themselves. After registration they can view and also can
download notes. They can also upload new notes. The uploaded notes will be verified
by the admin and then will upload on the site.

3. Project Category:
The Project category is web based developed in php and Mysql.

4. Language and Software tools used:

 Front End: XAMPP
 Operating System: Windows 8.1
 Back End: Mysql

5. Proposed System:
5.1 The objective and goal of the proposed system are:
 To allow only registered users to access various functions available in the
system.
 The software is user friendly so that user can easily view or download required
study material.
 This system contains notes in form of documents, presentations and portable
document formats for all the courses and topics.
 The registered users can upload new notes which will be viewed to other users
after being verified by the admin.
 The system provides efficient and fast responses to the users.

5.2 Module Description:

From end-user perspective, the notes management system project consists of three
functional elements:
 Admin Module
 General Module
 User Module
 5.2.1 Admin Module
 An enhanced automized system is developed to maintain admin role.
 Verification of new user.
 View, update and delete options.
 Responsible for maintaining information.
 Admin can change in function or other action.
5.2.2 General Module
 An enhanced automized system is developed to maintain general things.
 Features include:
 Login (Admin and User).
 View notes.
 Registration of user.
5.2.3 User Module
 An enhanced automized system is developed to maintain user things.
 Features include:
 User profile.
 View and update options.
 Upload and download notes.
 Instructions to upload notes.
6. Future Scope of Project:
The project is developed to fulfil the user requirement, however there is a lot of scope
to improve the notes management system in the area of user interface, database
performance and query processing time etc. We can add new features as per the
requirements.

7. Hardware Requirement:
Minimum:
 Computer with a 1.6GHz or faster processor
 348MB of RAM or more(768 MB of RAM or more for window Vista)
 2.2GB of available hard-disk space.
 5400 RPM hard drive.
 DVD-ROM drive.
Recommended:
2.4 GHz or higher CPU, 1024 MB or more RAM, 1280*1024 display, 7200
RPM or higher hard disk.

 Windows XP or higher
