Diana is suitable for the role
because she is a young
adult female from a similar
area to the one the
production is based on. She
can easily portray the
frustration the character
feels to another as it is an
attitude often seen in
people her age.
Although she is slightly
younger than the
character, Diana is still an
appropriate choice for the
role as the character speaks
in an immature manner.

Ability to interpret
character:
Diana is a similar age to the
character, falling under the
label of young adult. She
has a similar accent to the
one I pictured so when it
comes to performing the
character, I feel she will be
able to make the voice
work distinguishable.
The area the production is
based (Slough) is fairly near
by so the culture and
behaviour is very similar,
allowing Diana to
understand the character
and portray them with ease.

the character with ease,
using the prompts in the
script to deliver the lines as
expected.
She spoke appropriately for
how the lines had been
written and communicated
the characters attitude well.
Diana was also able to work
well with the person reading
the other lines, making the
piece seem rehearsed and
polished despite a lack of
preparation,
Diana was chosen to play
the role Diane Coleman in
my production ‘Break in
Manor’.
