Position Objective:
The Minor works Project Manager is accountable for large volume critical minor works across the G8
Education portfolio, to ensuring that the identified works completed in line with agreed safety, quality,
cost and schedule targets.

In conjunction with other members of the Property team, analyse the future requirements for the
Group’s portfolio of centres to reduce and eliminate potential risks.
Provide feedback in relation to projects life cycle to enable the Group to continuously improve its
various compliance processes.
Manage contractors to complete works inline to business and government representative delivery
expectations.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all G8 systems, procedures, products and governing
legislation.

Required Skills and Experience:
3+ years’ experience working in a project management role in related industries, with projects
varying in size and complexity.
Ability to execute multiple projects in a timely manner.
High degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
Highly developed stakeholder management skills
Strong ethics and genuine approach towards WHS.
Sound financial and commercial acumen.
Strong ability to manage contractor delivery.
Solutions orientated with good problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Adaptability, flexibility and able to respond positively to change.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
Demonstrates initiative, capacity to work without supervision and confidence in decision
making.
Knowledge and Experience in early childhood industry would be an advantage.
Recommended Qualifications:
Diploma qualification in Project Management or equivalent.
A trade background would be viewed favourably.
