This is one my favorite Temples I do visit in Chennai. , I love this temple a lot and visiting
there I really get peace of mind . Especially Dyna Mandapa inspires me a lot. I request who
ever visiting Tamil Nadu especially Chennai, Please do visit this place and have the blessings
of Sri Lalitha Parameshwari, I used to send money for the Poornima poojas when ever i was
given opportunity By the Goddesses. I do chant Her Gayathri Mantras on every Fridays along
with Sri lakshmi Devi worship. Iam doing this worship more then 12 years. Navarathri time i
do this without fail.

Sri Maha LakshmiP P ooja I am Doing from past 30 years on every Friday. Iam sure whoever
especially women who is worshiping these two Devis will be blessed always with lots of
asupicious ness in her family life . I have seen many ladies or even Unmarried girls who ever
does these poojas before marriage as well as after marriage will surely get blessings of
these Goddesses. You all can take me as Role Model too . MY father (parents) taught me
doing Lakshmi pooja when I newly got married , Iam doing this Sri Mahalakshmi pooja with
108 coins ( Lakshmi Ashtothra Sada Namavali Pooja) every Friday from 1984 and I just
completed 30 years last month, with out any interruption. MY mother and my two younger
siblings all are doing this pooja like me .( Sorry Iam doing this pooja as my Mom does I must
say rather.) . I thank Sri Lakshmi Devi for this real blessings and I will continue to do through
out my life . Iam sure who ever does this pooja with dedication will be blessed with or will be
getting Healthy wealthy and Poise spouse. There is no doubt about that. I usually advice girls
in my family as well as my friends families, the Benefits of this pojas as wel l as significance
of these poojas too . . To some I used to give 108 One rupee coin too to start with this
poojaa. ( my father gave me one Lakkshmi Silver coin too with a small Picture of Goddess
Lakshmi Devi just after my marriage. SO , iam continuing this good cause to others. . After
my marriage I never saw any scarcity of Money in my family . I wont do KUbera Lakshmi
poojas, i consider them as extra or over desire, over ambition, as all say doing KUbera
Lakshmi poooja one can get crores of money , I never believe this. I never like easy money ,
like investing in speculative activities and buying lotteries . Doing Ordinary lakshmi pooja on
all Fridays is enough to get the blessings of AShtaLakshmi , If any one want to to have
Ishyavrayam pl do chant Kanaka Dhara Sthothras along with Lakshmi slokas. .

Prasanna mam
Very appropriate message for Navarathri. I might be visiting Chennai next week or in the
week after. Hope to visit this temple.

I am totally ignorant of all these aspects of Lakshmi worship. But I know Lakshmi
Ashtotharam and Kanakadhara stotram by heart so I recite them after reciting Vishnu
Sahasranama stotra.

MORE on MAHA MERU WORSHIP.

THE WORK on the Sri Maha Meru 18-Siddhar Sakti Peetam, at Madambakkam near Chennai,
is over and the shrine It was the wish of Sri Seshadri Swamigal of Tiruvannamalai to have a
single Sakti Peetam for Sakti and the 18 siddhars.
The Seshadri Brindavanam Trust, at Madambakkam near Selaiyur, Tambaram.
A unique aspect of the Peetam is that the Mahameru shrine has been carved out of a single
green granite stone. The 135-cm Mahameru has been sculpted according to the norms laid
down by Adi Sankara. The Mother Goddess is flanked by Sri Seshadri Swamigal on one side
and Sri Guruvayur Krishna on the other. There are shrines for Sri Maha Ganapathy, Sri
Subramanya with His Consorts, Sri Muniswarar, Sri Rajakali Amman, Sri Kamadenu, the four
Saiva saints and Sri Nandikeswarar.
There is no separate place of worship for the navagrahas since the Siddhars are believed to
reflect their powers as well. Also there are shrines for Sri Nagaraja as found in the temple of
Tirunageswaram, Sri Kodhandaramar and Sri Anjaneya.
The Trust has been conducting free health camps, Annadanam, and distribution of milk for
children on Sundays. Plans for the future include an old age home, free medical aid for the
poor and a Siddha medical research centre.

i KNOWTHIS SITe IS NOT UPDATED, THIS SAKTHI PEETAM NEAr TAMBARAM IS ANOTEHR
INTERSTIGN ADN DIVENE PPACE OF SRI MAHA MERU. i WIs H AL LMUST GET THE
BLESSINGS OF THESE 18 SHDHARS. i HAVE BeNN AND OFERED MY prayers there twice
