to <53 [draft planning status]) or re-planning site by site after co-ordination between regional
Radio Planer Telefonica and GU-Partner only radio modules of RRU 5000 series marked with
(5s) in privies slides are approved. All other existing Radio modules marked with (R) in privies
slides can be only be used as Re-Use installation.
• In case of Macro Installation this means that these RRU 5000 series units can be realized close
to the BS cabinet (APM30) as a called Makro solution (w/o RFC Cabinet and total cable Loss <2
dB) or close to antenna as a called “main-remote” (RRU and total cable Loss <1 dB) solution.

Huawei Antenna Solution – SISO Support for GSM and LTE
Following Solutions will be supported also for SISO Configurations

• GSM:
• Full support by changing in ATOLL the RX_ANTENNAS_PORTS = 1 &
TX_ANTENNAS_PORTS = 1
• Parameter TXRXMODE will set to 1T1R
• LTE:
• Full Template Support by choosing the given SISO NE Equipment in NetSite
• Following LTE Frequency Layer combinations will be supported so far:
• L800 ; L1800 ; L2600
• L800+L2600
• L800+L1800
• L1800+L2600
• L800+L1800+L2600
• Following H/W will be supported so far:
• UBBPx ; UMPTx ; MRFUd ; LRFUe ; RRU3959 ; RRU3268 ; RRU5905 ;
RRU5309
• Following Site Installation Solutions will be supported so far:
• 1-3 sector for Indoor, Remote and Virtual (3rd party)
 Other Config’s like e.g. 4 sector, Mixed, Outdoor, RRU3220 or LBBP will not be supported

1) For Macro sites only APM30 Cabinets will be supported.
2) RRU RRU5309/RRU3268/RRU3220 and RRU3959/5905 cause to the same H/W Template.
3) UBBPd3 or UBBPd5 can be 1:1 replaced by UBBPe3. Means also for NetSite Capacity fields.
4) In case of alternative Cabinets like SSC only LTE Remote solutions are supported within the
given Templates.
5) All Virtual Marco solutions for GSM are not approved !
6) 4x4MIMO Macro solutions, the L2600 Radio Units have to be planed as Remote Installation
(RRU), because of no free slots in RFC-6 cabinet.
7) 4x4MIMO 4 Sector solutions only approved with new 5000 series RRUs.
8) 4x4MIMO no Mix of old (3900 series) and new (5900 series) RRUs are allowed.
9) 4x4MIMO no Mix of RRU and RFU modules. Only exception see point 6.
10) UL2100 + 4x4 MIMO, no 2xRRU Installation for UL2100 allowed. Only RRU5909 supported
in this case, because of to less CIPRI Ports on dedicated UBBPd5/e3.
11) UL2100 Mixed Configuration no 2xRRU Installation allowed. Only RRU5909.
12) 4 Sector Configurations N209, N308, N309, N212 only possible if G900 will configured with
Remote Radio Modules (RRU3959 or RRU5905)

Comissioning Rules for the site installation
2G Comissioning rules
1) All the RFU boards are configured from left to right. Starting for G900 in slot 0 and G1800 in slot3 and going from there on. If two RFC cabinets are needed, the second cabinet also starts in the same slot positions.
2) All the RRU's are configured starting on slot 60 and advancing one slot per RRU. Example: RRU1 is -0-60-0, RRU2 is 0-61-0, etc. Exception if GL1800 starting on slot 72.
3) The GTMU CPRI port connection follows the left to right rule. The comissioning order is - port 0, port 1, port 2 and port 3 and so on.
1) All the RFU boards are configured from left to right. Starting in slot 0 and going from there on. If two RFC cabinets are needed, the second cabinet also starts from slot 0. This rule has an exception for sites with 3 or less sectors.
2) All the RRU's are configured starting on slot 80 and advancing one slot per RRU. Example: RRU1 is -0-80-0, RRU2 is 0-81-0, etc.
3) The WBBP/UBBP slot order for comissiong is - Slot 3, Slot 2, Slot 1, Slot 0, Slot 4 and Slot 5. Examples present in the following sheet.
4) CPRI port connection follows the left to right rule. The comissioning order is - port 0, port 1, port 2 and port 3 and so on.
1) All LTE RFU boards are configured from left to right. Starting in slot 3 and going from there on to slot 5. For 4 sector sites the 4th RFU is lacated in slot 2. If two RFC cabinets are needed, the second cabinet also starts from slot 3. Examples on LTE
2) All the RRU's are configured starting on slot 60 and advancing one slot per RRU. LTE800 RRU's from 60 to 65, LTE1800 RRU's 72 to 77 and LTE2600 RRU's 66 to 71.
3) The LBBP/UBBP comissioning slot for LTE800 is slot 3, for LTE1800 slot 2 and for LTE2600 slot 1. If more than 3 cells are needed for LTE800, an UBBP board on slot 4 is added as an extension for the rest of the cells.
4) CPRI port connection on UBBP/LBBP boards on slot 3 and 1 follows the left to right rule. The comissioning order is - port 0, port 1 and port 2. If more then 3 cells are needed on LTE800, the CPRI port connection on the BB board on slot 4 follows
the left to right rule. Example - Cell 4 LTE 800 -> CPRI port 0 and UBBP/LBBP slot 4; Cell 4 LTE 18000 -> CPRI port 1 and UBBP/LBBP slot 4; Cell 4 LTE 26000 -> CPRI port 2 and UBBP/LBBP slot 4.
