commissions. BBC
Commissions are a
chance for people to
create work for the BBC
and have that work be
aired for millions of
people to hear, this is a
strict and heavily
guidelines process. But
if you make the cut,
you'll have tons of credibility, skills and of course something to add on your
Portfolio and CV. I Want to enter for a Commission because it is an amazing
opportunity to put myself out there as media producer and an opportunity to
show my skills the professionals and get either apprenticeship opportunities or
even a job at the BBC.

Deadlines
BBC Commissions do not have any official deadlines stated in their brief. But
they did mention that Their Reviewing process would start in March 2020, So I
will be taking this as my Official deadline for the commissions project.

The Official Deadline for ,y Final major project is the 22nd of may 2020

Idea Outline
Nathan has been Suffering with Acute Amblyopia since he was 6. The last
thing he remembers doing before he lost his eyesight was crossing the road
after school. After only 3 weeks. The constant harassment and bullying from
his classmates have brought him to the tipping point, the constant daily
routine of him being ridiculed, things being thrown at him, He has had
enough, and he wants to do something about it. With his senses heightened,
and him quickly getting used to the environments around him, he picks up a
martial art and begins to work on his self-defence. and in class, he puts these

new skills to use, when the ridiculing begins, he challenges back against his
bullies and wins. His newfound identity for helping those weaker being picked
on by the stronger has built him a sort of vigilante persona. A force to be
reckoned with.

Rules and Regulations

The Rules and regulations I have been given are simple, I’ve been a brief
from my College:
The rules issued by my Exam Board and College are as follows:

 There will be no reference to drugs, no swearing and no nudity within

your productions

 All practical work must be your own

 Only 10% of your production can be found footage (downloaded) and

only if you are producing a factual programme

 No footage or written work from previous units may be used or resubmitted for
your final project

 All written work must be your own and any sourced work must be
Harvard referenced properly

 The work submitted must follow the brief created at the beginning of your Final
project

Target Audience

My target audience will be 16-20 year old because of how easily I can Tailor
the social contexts and messages i give in my production.

The reason I say this is because this target audience is right up my alley in
terms of content, this demographic can understand more and also learn
more in the productions i have made, most of my previous productions i have
made have been for this target audience and they have receive a very
positive review, which means that my production style is very suitable for this
demographic
