Introduction

In the last three decades, preschool education has become a boom and lucrative
business in the country. Parents become so become so aware of the value of early childhood
education that it motivates the to apportion part of their hard-earned money for their
children’s preschool education. (Adams 2010) stressed that early childhood education is the key
to building a strong foundation for a childs educational success .

According to (Grusec 2014) Why do parents behave the way they do when raising children?
One answer is that they are modelling the behaviour of their own parents, having learned how
to parent in the course of being parented. Another is that they are behaving in accord with
information about appropriate parenting acquired through books , websites, or informal and
formal advice. In addressing preschoolers’ access to quality education, full enrolment, transition
and retention of children in Early Childhood Development and Education centres was globally
perceived as a greater step towards achieving education for all (UNESCO,2010).

These global evidence however, the report observed that majority of the worlds young children
were excluded from preschool learning and others join class without going through preschool
education (Benett 2012). In regard preschoolers’ access to basic education a report by
organization for economic Co operation and development (UNESCO 2010). According to (
Kendra Cherry 2019)in Psychology an attitude refers to a set of emotions, beliefs and behaviors
toward a particular object, person, thing or event.

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Childrens using the same skills are active learners. They use their senses to observe
objects and events and they look for patterns in those observation. Students’ achievement is
positively related to learning goal orientation,self-efficacy and meaningful learning
(Naminoglu,2015). Parental envolvement, like childrensattitude is important because of it’s
complex association to learning outcomes. Many types of parental involvement have been
found in different ways some types of involvement have been found to improve childrens
learning outcomes while some have been found to hinder it (Cao,Bishop et.al 2012).
