He born in Bucaramanga - Colombia, he started his studies in the violin with
The National Foundation Batuta and also in music theory at The Municipal Institute of Culture with the Master José Ariza. Later he entered to the music program at Universidad Industrial de Santander (Industrial University of Santander “UIS”) and he was studying the violin with the masters Andrey Lechowsky and Irina Litvin, where he obtained in 2011 the title of Bachelor of Music with an emphasis on violin. That same year along with other colleagues and the Master Eduardo Berrio, they created the Santander Philharmonic Foundation; In this initiative the Kammerton Mussicum chamber orchestra was constituted, where he plays the violin and collaborates as assistant conductor and also assumes the presidence of The Santander Philharmonic Foundation.
In 2013 he became the principal conductor of The Santander Philharmonic
Camerata wherewith he performed concerts on different stages of the city such as The Cultural Center of the East and The Luis A. Calvo Auditorium in the framework of the International Piano Festival of the UIS.
He has participated in many orchestral conducting workshops, in symphonic
band with The National Symphonic Orchestra of Colombia, with The Philharmonic of Bogotá and The Symphonic Band of Cundinamarca; He has also performed as a guest conductor with The Collegium Orchestra of The Conservatory of Music, as well with the Symphonic Band of Universidad Nacional de Colombia (National University of Colombia) at The Leon de Greiff, with The Antioquia Symphonic Orchestra and The St. Petersburg Symphonic Orchestra in Russia. He has also been assistan conductor of The Symphonic Orchestra of Tocancipa, and Conductor of the Orchestra of Strings in the municipality of Guatavita.
He has completed Diploma in musical composition with the Master Blas
Emilio Atehortua, also in pedagogy of violin and viola with the Master Irina Litvin and in Conducting of Musical Bands in advanced level of Universidad Pedagógica Nacional (National Pedagogical University) with the Masters Andrés Rozo and Frank de Vuyst; He has participated in the third musical residence Vienna - Eje Cafetero in the advanced course of Conductor and Practice, with the Masters David Ricardo Salazar, Werner Hackl, Reinhold Rieger, Alexander Steinberger and Lisa Gonnella.
In 2015 he entered to the Master's Program in Symphonic Conducting at
Universidad Nacional de Colombia (National University of Colombia) as a student of the Master Guerassim Voronkov. This year he was invited to conduct The St. Petersburg Symphonic Orchestra in Russia, where the concert offered will be your degree recital of his Master's program in Symphonic Conducting.
In 2018 he participated in the master class of conducting with the Professor
Franck Fontcouberte in Montpellier, France, with the orchestra “United Strings of Europe”
Since 2017, he is the conductor of The Philharmonic Camerata Orchestra of
Bogotá and currently studying orchestral conducting at Konservatorium für Musik und Dramatische Kunst in Wien – Prayner with the Professor Josef Stolz.
