After the students have found the continent, the teacher will locate it on their
own Google Earth which is projected on the board to check whether they got
it correct.

Teacher puts up a QR code up on the board for students to scan with their
iPads, which will take them to the Weebly website which contains the
instructions and material for that lesson, that they can always go back and
refer to.

On the Weebly there will be a blank map of the earth which the students can
download and import into Keynote as a new project. There will be clear
instructions on how to do this on the Weebly as well. This will be the cover Keynote
page for their keynote slide show which they be making over the next few
weeks.

After the students have labelled the continents and oceans, the teacher will
instruct them to open Emoji Me on their iPads and create an avatar of Emoji Me
themselves and then save it to their camera roll.

Conclusion: (15 mins)

The teacher will inform the students that they have 10 minutes to import their
avatar into Keynote and place it over their location on the map (Perth).
The students then have 5 minutes to add the title ‘Come travel with me’
above the map, type their names at the bottom and save the presentation to
continue on with in the next lesson.
