Associate Structural Engineer

 Re-designing and re-detailing reinforced concrete, steel and composite (concrete and steel)
structures for constructability and resolving design deficiencies
 Modification of steel structure connections, and revising their design document for the
modification and qualification
 Design of anchorage (post and pre-installed embedment plates) for beam seat, floor supports
and commodities
 Evaluation of construction joints in reinforced concrete.
 Resolving out-of-tolerance of concrete members in thickness, and location of re-bars through
re-analyses
 I modified concrete structure in accordance with ACI 349-01 (Code Requirements for Nuclear
Safety Related Concrete Structures), ACI 315, ACI 117-10 and steel structure in accordance
with AISC N690 (ANSI Specification for the Design, Fabrication, and Erection of Steel Safety-

using MicroStation, and AutoCAD applications.

 Analysis and design of substation structures such as transformer foundation, shelter including
cession foundations
 Deign of reinforced masonry in accordance with ASCE 5 and ACI 530
 Evaluation of buried commodities such as pipes, duct banks manhole and catch basins for
transport of heavy transport
 Analysis and design of new and existing pipe supports in nuclear power plants. Analysis
included static and dynamic analysis such as response spectra analyses, equivalent static
analysis etc.
 Analysis and design of new and existing conduit supports, cable trays and mounting electrical
and mechanical equipment/components such as boxes, electrical/mechanical cabinets etc. in
nuclear power plants
 Analyzing and designing of base plates with APLAN, a Finite Element Software of S&L
 Designing monorails according to ACMA 74
 Sketching conceptual and final design drawing for draftsman/designer and back checking the
drawings
