EXPERIENCE
Currently I am working with VCS QUALITY SERVICES PVT LTD. as a QA/QC
Mechanical Sr. Engineer.

Day to day pipe book and tie -in chart preparation with proper documentation.

Receiving and reviewing of all reports related to QA/QC.

Involving in quality audits with the coordination of all concerns.

Acquainted with testing activities like pre testing, post testing & mainline hydro
testing with proper calculation and safety precautions.

Checking of depth & width of the trench and lowered the section with proper
holiday checking. Formulate inspection and test procedure.

Preparation of inspection report for welding activities like WPS, PQR, WQT,

EQT&WQR ETC.

Planning on day-to-day basis to do the work with quality &safe.

Reviewing and checking of welding procedures for welding Carbon steels,

Stainless steels and Alloy steels materials.

Conduct procedure qualification (PQR) test as per welding procedure specification

(WPS).

Organize and conduct welder qualification test as per ASME and client
specifications. Inspection of electrodes, filler wires and gas used for welding.
Visual Inspection of pipe fit up, welds joints, and reject/accept.

Monitor preheating prior commencement of welding and interpass temperatures

during the welding.

Monitor performance of the welders on the basis of radiographic inspection and

promote corrective action where necessary

Check final dimension, material traceability, orientation and cleanliness after

completion of pipe spool fabrication.

Coordinate for Non Destructive examination of welds (RT/UT/MT/PT), pressure

tests in accordance with approved procedures and QC plans.

Coordinate for Post weld heat treatment of welds, monitor the heating rate,
soaking time and cooling rate during heat treatment.

Liaise with client, Authorized Inspector and Third party.

Prepare inspection test plans and Preparation of project welder

performance/rejection report.

Coordinate technical queries with project management team on daily basis

Coordinate with client inspection department / third party inspection department

For quality issues. Repair analysis of welded joints. Estimation of weld
consumables.
Responsible for machine calibration. Inspection of filler wire, gas & electrode
used for welding.
Interpretation of codes, drawing specifications, observations & radiographs.
