The session about Environmental Protection Awareness started at 8 o’clock in the

morning, last September 14, 2019. The morning session of the seminar was attended
by BA Comm NMT, BSIE, BSEE, BSCE SE BCCE CEM, BA COMM CPA, BS AR, BSME and
BS Midwifery. There are several speakers who talked about our environment, its
problems and how we can help to prevent it. They explained the condition of our
Mother Earth right now, the global warming as one of the problems in the world and
plastics as the worst pollutant in our environment.

This seminar made me realize that our world is constantly changing, not in a
good way but on the worst way. Plastics became a part of our daily lives, the single-use
plastics and almost everything are made of plastics now. But as what is said on the
seminar, we can do something about it. I agree with the speakers because humans are
the cause of this problem, which means humans are also the one who can solve this.
For example, living with minimized use of plastics can help prevent or minimize water
and plastic pollution.

Discipline is the biggest answer to solve our environmental problems. Only if

humans learn to love our environment, we will be able to prevent the destruction of our
world. Reducing the use of plastics, recycling, and segregating our wastes can also be a
good action to prevent pollutions.
