There is a $45 club due that will be due by the last day of school if you are chosen to be a 2020-2021 FCCLA
member.

It is very important for WMHS FCCLA members to follow the following guidelines. Please read and sign saying
you are willing to follow these guidelines if chosen.
1. You must represent WMHS in a POSITIVE way.
2. You must be a LEADER to your peers.
3. You must be a ROLE MODEL to younger children.
4. You must be willing to work in your COMMUNITY.
5. You must be willing to be a PEN PAL to a 2​nd​ grade student.
6. You must be willing to PARTICIPATE in out of school projects.
7. You must be RESPONSIBLE.
8. You must be willing to HELP Mrs. Rolin when asked without complaining.
9. You CAN NOT be SUSPENDED the year before or while a member of FCCLA.
10. You CAN NOT have more than 5 days of ISS the year before or while a member.

If the guidelines are not kept by the student they will be dismissed from the organization. Principal discretion
applies.
 FCCLA Membership Information
$45 membership fees are due by the last day of the 2019-2020 school year. (If you have an issue with this please
come talk to me)

The West Morgan FCCLA organization is very involved. Please be aware of what will be expected from
your membership.

A general outline of what to expect as a FCCLA member:

● Attend each FCCLA club meeting.

● Write your pen pal Monthly and TURN IN YOU FOLDER BEFORE OR ON THE DEADLINE.
● Attending the October Pen pal field trip to the Elementary school and purchasing your pen pal a
pumpkin. (We will carve pumpkins with the pen pals) (they keep the pumpkin)
● District Field Trip (OPTIONAL) Location and date TBA (we try to keep the cost at or below $75)
● Spring Field trip with pen pals (usually a movie and the park)
● County Field Trip (OPTIONAL) Location and date TBA (we try to keep the cost at or below $27)
● State Conference/Star Event Competition (OPTIONAL) (3 days in Montgomery, cost is normally
$250 but we will fundraise to try to offset the cost) Star events are a competition and you have
the opportunity to advance to Nationals.
● End of the year visit with the Pen Pals (Fun day at the High School)
● Volunteer for different events throughout the year.
● Various cooking competitions throughout the school year (OPTIONAL)

FCCLA is a very rewarding leadership organization! The positive behavior of the members is how we are able to be
involved. It is very important to have well behaved members that represent our school in a positive way.
