At the outset we thank you for choosing us as your preferred health insurer. In line with our core ethos of
consistently enhancing value, convenience and quality deliverables for our customers, we are pleased to present
to you an array of significant improvements to our product ‘Care’ effective from January 6th 2020.

Some of the product improvements and modifications are as follows:


- Inclusion of modern treatment method/advanced technology led procedures such as:
i. Robotic surgeries:
Although more expensive than normal surgical procedures it offers higher precision & success rate
and quicker recovery for patient.
ii. Stem-cell therapy:
With this Bone Marrow Transplant an advanced procedure for cancer treatment is now covered.
iii. Oral Chemotherapy:
Cancer Treatment which involves cure through ingestion of oral medication (capsule, tablets or
liquids)
iv. Intra-Vitreal Injections: Used for treatment of eye related ailments.
v. Bronchial Thermoplasty : Treatment for cases of severe asthma.
vi. Bariatric Surgery: An excess weight-management treatment for individuals suffering from acute
obesity.

- Medical expenses incurred towards treatment of illnesses/conditions related to Stress, Psychology and
Mental Illnesses will be now covered.

- Expenses incurred to avail ‘Artificial Life Maintenance’ including Life-Support.

- Coverage has been extended to include Genetic Diseases and following medical equipment:
i. Arthroscopy & Endoscopy Instruments
ii. Instruments used for CAPD

- Coverage for expenses incurred towards:


i. Administrative and Documentation procedures
ii. Television and Air-conditioning

We’ve also made some process enhancements to ensure convenient management of your policy:

- Self-service initiatives on web and mobile


i. Policy related requests such as – requesting duplicate policy document, downloading e- health
card, change in contact details etc. can be carried out anytime, anywhere via a self-help portal
(Visit-Link).

ii. Dedicated ‘Customer Mobile App’ to assist you with


 Filing and tracking a claim
 Booking and rescheduling health check-up appointments
 Renewing policies
 Downloading policy certificate, tax certificate etc.
 Locating nearest network hospital and Religare Health Insurance Branch
 Buying a new policy
- We have added more hospitals in our network to make cashless claim truly hassle free for you. To know

- Now get SMS updates on cashless and reimbursement approval by simply messaging “AL” followed by
“AL No.” and “CLAIM” followed by “Claim No.” respectively to 7715877158

Way forward:
We have ensured that there are no additional procedures that need to be taken up at your end. We will intimate
you about the revised Premium rates on account of above product improvements and modifications along with
your renewal letter through a communication which will be sent to your registered address within 45 days prior
to the renewal.

A ready reckoner of the revised premiums has been made available and can be accessed by logging in with your
policy number and date of birth.
