I. Objective
After the lesson, the students are expected to:
1. Interview a Christian parent or couple on why they are Christians and what beliefs and practices they
adhere to.

1. Activity (ICT/Multimedia)
 Divide the class into 5 groups. Each group will discuss the assignment given to them yesterday. One
representative will be chosen per group to discuss their output.
2. Analysis
 Why are your parents Christians?
 What are the belief and practices that they adhere to?
3. Abstraction (visual aid)
 Christianity is a religion based upon the teachings and miracles of Jesus. Jesus is the Christ. The
word "Christ" means anointed one. Christ is not Jesus' last name. Jesus is the anointed one from
God the Father who came to this world, fulfilled the Old Testament laws and prophecies, died on
the cross, and rose from the dead physically. He performed many miracles which were recorded
in the Gospels by the eyewitnesses. He is divine in nature as well as human. Thus, He has two
natures and is worthy of worship and prayer. Christianity teaches that there is only one God in
all existence, that God made the universe, the Earth, and created Adam and Eve.

 What are the belief and practices that you adhere to?
IV. Evaluation
Essay:
1. Are you a Christian? If yes, how did you become one? If no, why not?
(Rubrics found at the last page of the LP)
V. Assignment
 Review on the topics discussed.
