‘SECRA’ [H058S-2] inspection is aimed at checking:
o lack of visible defects of the shield
o service life
Damaged (cracks, scratches, punctures, fogging) or dirty shield cannot be used for
live working. Damaged shield must be replaced. Pay attention to the service life of the
shield, which is 48 months from the date of production impressed on the helmet. After
this period the shield should be taken out of service and utilized. Under regular
conditions, the shield should provide sufficient protection for 48 months. With
extensive use, especially with long-term exposure to UV radiation, sunlight, frequent
temperature changes, dusty environment etc, the manufacturer recommends
replacing the shield after 24 months.
ASTM F2178-12
The face shield is manufactured according to ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2015 standard and
ASTM F2178-12 “Standard Test Method for Determining the Arc Rating and Standard
ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2015 Specification for Eye or Face Protective Products”. It can be used only with the
SECRA helmet type.
7. DESCRIBE & CONSTRUCTION OF THE SHIELD

13. REPLACEMENT Locking tab

13.1 SWEATBANDS front sweatband rear sweatband


Fasten a new strap by placing a strap latch on locking tab and pulling the strap up
until the latch is placed securely.

Sweatbands are fastened to the main and rear harness with a hook and loop fastener.
Pull the sweatband carefully to separate it from the harness. Replace worn
sweatbands. 14. WARRANTY
13.2 HEAD HARNESS

doesn`t cover if used not on regular bases, altered and modified, improperly stored,
