LEARNING Main Listening
OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to understand independently the main ideas from a
phone conversation by answering correctly 6/8 of true false questions in the textbook.

Complementary Speaking
By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to explain on the 6 steps on how to send a picture in
an email by presenting them on a power point.

ACTIVITIES: 1. PRE-LESSON ( 10 minutes)


a. Pupils are shown a screenshot picture of an email and asked if they are familiar
with the picture shown.
b. A few labels of the email parts (e.g: email address, topic, CC, contents etc) are
pasted on the white board and pupils are told to put the label on the email
picture correctly. (Lollipop)
c. Pupils were told that they are going to learn about how to send a picture in an
email.

2. LESSON (40 minutes)


(Activity 1)
a. Pupils are told to turn to page…. of their textbook and read the true/ false
questions. They were given 3 minutes to read the questions.
b. Pupils are going to listen to an audio of a telephone conversation twice and
while listening, they are required to write T for true statement and F for false
statement. [ More amount of support in term of vocabs language
simplification is given to the less proficient pupils]
c. Pupils are given a few minutes to check on their friends’ works and make peer
assessment. [Peer Assessment]
d. Pupils are asked to take out their traffic light and ready to discuss their answers
with the teachers, for the true statement they lift up the green card, and red for
the wrong statement.[Traffic Light]
e. Pupils are asked to discuss the task B with their peers.

(Activity 2)
a.Pupils are given a sheet of blank paper that contains six empty boxes.
b. Pupils are told that they will have to listen to the audio again twice [ to support the
less proficient], and write down the six steps of how to send a picture in an email.
[For the less proficient, the six steps given but not according to the correct
sequence, so they have to sequence them correctly)
c. Playing the hotseat, the selected pupil will have to explain the six steps to the
class. [Hotseat]
3. POST-LESSON: (10 minutes)

a. Students are list down other social applications apart from email that they can
use to send pictures on their mini whiteboard. [exit card]
