The value chain of debt collection software can be divided into two major parts i.e. primary activities
and supporting activities. IP licensing, research, product management, product development, and
release are primary activities of debt collection software market, while firm infrastructure, human

licensing involves the use of patents and integration with other third-party data. The careful
inspection of IP right and patent applications are studies extensively in this stage of value chain.
Research phase consist of improvements on speed, usability, reliability and costs of the system.
Project management phase deals with independent product management within the organization.
Developers implement the software features and specification as per debt collection software in
development stage. Release stage deals with the establishment of software release function to
ensure the software implementation meets predefined quality criteria and is properly delivered to
the target channels. It also helps to determine compatibility of the software system over various
devices.
