CHAPTER V

SUMMARY OF FINDINGS, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

This chapter presented the summary of findings from the gathered, analysis and interpreted data.
The recommendations were based from the findings and conclusion of the study.

SUMMARY OF FINDINGS

The following are salient findings summarized from the result of the gathered data.

1. Summary of respondents according to their dependence to technological gadgets


1.1 In terms of Mobiles, 11 or 36.67 percent out of 30 respondents have uses above 6
hours surfing time in their mobiles, 8 or 26.67 percent out of 30 respondents have
uses 3 to 4 hours same with 5 to 6 hours surfing time, 3 or 10.00 percent out of 30
respondents have uses 1 to 2 hours surfing time in mobiles.
1.2 In terms of Computer/Laptop, 11 or 36.67 percent out of 30 respondents have uses 1
to 2 hours surfing time in computer/laptop, 10 or 33.33 percent out of 30 respondent
have uses 3 to 4 hours surfing time, 5 or 16.67 percent out of 30 respondents have
uses above 6 hours surfing time, 4 or 13.33 percent out of 30 respondents have uses 5
to 6 hours surfing time in computer/laptop.
1.3 In terms of Tablets, 13 or 43.33 out of 30 respondents have uses 3 to 4 hours surfing
time tablets, 11 or 36.67 percent out of 30 respondents have uses 1 to 2 hours surfing
time, 6 or 20.00 percent out of 30 respondents have uses above 6 hours surfing time,
0 or 0.00 percent out of 30 respondents have uses 5 to 6 hours surfing time in tablets.
1.4 In terms of Smart Phones, 9 or 30.00 percent out of 30 respondents have uses above 6
hours surfing time in smart phones, 8 or 26.67 percent out of 30 respondents have
uses 3 to 4 hours same with 5 to 6 hours surfing time, 5 or 16.67 percent out of 30
respondents have uses 1 to 2 hours surfing time in smart phones.
1.5 In terms of Iphone/Ipad, 14 or 46.67 percent out of 30 respondents have uses 3 to 4
hours surfing time in iphone/ipad, 8 or 26.67 percent out of 30 respondents have uses
1 to 2 hours surfing time, 5 or 16.67 percent out of 30 respondents have uses above 6
hours surfing time, 3 or 10.00 percent out of 30 respondent have uses 5 to 6 hours
surfing time in iphone/ipad.
1.6 In terms of Cellphones, 12 or 40.00 percent out of 30 respondents have uses 3 to 4
hours surfing time in their cellphones, 8 or 26.67 percent of the respondents surfing
time above 6 hours, 6 or 20 percent are uses 5 to 6 hours surfing time, 4 or 13.33
percent are uses 1 to hours surfing time.
1.7 In terms of Calling, 18 or 60.00 percent out of 30 respondents have uses 1 to 2 hours
surfing time on calling, 11 or 36.67 percent of the respondents have uses 5 to 6 hours
surfing time on calling, 1 or 20 percent are above 6 hours surfing time, 0 or 0.00
percent haven’t uses 3 to 4 hours surfing time in calling.
1.8 In terms of Messaging, 14 or 46.67 percent out of 30 respondents used 1 to 2 hours
surfing time in messaging, 9 or 30.00 percent used only 5 to 6 hours surfing time in
calling, 5 or 16.67 percent used 3 to 4 hours surfing time in messaging. And the
remaining is 2 or 6.67 percent used above 6 hours surfing time in messaging.
1.9 In terms of Internet, 10 or 33.33 percent out of 30 respondents have uses 5 to 6 hours
surfing time on internet. 8 or 26.67 have uses 3 to 4 hours and above 6 hours surfing
time on internet, and the remaining is 4 or 13.33 percent have uses 1 to 2 hours
surfing time on internet.
1.10 In terms of Social Networking, 11 or 36.67 percent out of 30 respondents have
uses 3 to 4 hours surfing time on Social Networking, 8 or 26.67 percent have uses 5
to 6 hours surfing time on Social Networking, 7 or 23.33 percent have uses 1 to 2
hours surfing time in Social networking, and the 4 or 13.33 percent remaining
answered that above 6 hours surfing time on Social media.
1.11 In terms of Music/Video, 10 or 33.33 percent out of the 30 respondents have used
3 to 4 hours surfing time on Music/Video, 7 or 23.33 percent have uses surfing time
about 1 to 2 hours and 5 to 6 hours on Music/Video, and 6 or 20.00 have used above
6 hours surfing time on Music/Video.

CONCLUSION

1. The researcher conclude that the uses of technological gadgets inside the institution or
school is very effective because majority of the respondents used an adequate time on
Technology or they are managing it accordingly to their needs on their self or
academically.
RECOMMENDATION

Based on the findings and conclusion of the study, the following are thereby recommended:

1. School administrators may reconsider the used of technological gadgets inside the school
that could be used for academic improvement and enhancement to their technological
skills and be of great help for teachers to effectively teach technologically towards
students.
2. Technological gadgets can help the students in learning if they will allow them to use it in
proper way inside the school.
3. Enable teachers to establish contacts for mentoring, participate in networks, and access a
variety of curricular and pedagogical models, via technology.
4. Institutions and academic units should provide—and actively promote—training for
students in the use of technologies that students will use in their courses
5. Technology is a versatile and valuable tool for teaching and learning and becoming a way
of life. The most important thing is that teachers need to be prepared to use these
technologies effectively. Schools can use technology effectively and for the welfare of
students, teachers and society, it must be done.
6. Computers can provide universal success by dividing lessons into segments to the extent
needed to make sure that everyone can accomplish something. They deliver results
accurately and quickly.
