SUBJECT MATTER: English Literature OBECTIVES a) Identify the story of Moby Dick; b) Internalize the story being presented with their characters; and c) Evaluate the authors’ purpose on writing the story of “Moby Dick”. TEACHING PROCEDURES - The teacher will ask the students about the story of “Moby Dick”? - The teacher discuss the story and prepare a video presentation for the students to be able to understand the story all about. - In presenting a video, the teacher instruct the students to write down there notes for the important information or details of the story. - When the video story is done presenting, the teacher review cite of discussion to recall what they have learn in the story and what the authors’ purpose on writing the story. - The teacher also ask the students about the authors’ background information. And let the students answer in oral recitation. - The teacher prepare a list of character posted in the white board. - The activity will be identifying the functions’ of characters in the story. - The teacher proceed the mechanics of activity. THE MECHANICS OF ACTIVITY - The students will be divided into five (5) groups: each group will select a leader. - Each members of the group will do assign task with collaboration for the leader. 10 minutes will do to finish their output. - Anyone of the group who get a perfect answer will be given a rewards. - The teacher will start the game.
