PREFACE

Praise be to Allah swt who has given his gift to the author to complete this
practicum report in SMK Negeri 2 which was held on July 18, 2017. The writing
of this report is inseparable from the contribution of the energy and mind of the
teammates on this occasion we would like to say thank you to the teachers Mrs.
khuzaemah as mentors and to all the laboratories. The author realizes that in this
lab report there are many shortcomings caused by the lack of knowledge we have.
Therefore we ask for constructive criticism and suggestions for future
improvements. May God always bestow His grace, grace and guidance and repay
all charity and the good of the writer and reader. Hopefully this lab report can be
useful for those who read and who uses it.

INTRUDUCTION

1.1 Background

Each liquid has a distinctive characteristic, different from a liquid with another
liquid. Oil as an example of a liquid that we can see is thicker than coconut oil.
Each of these liquids has a thickness value
called different viscosity. Viscosity is a measure of the viscosity of a fluid which
states the size of the friction in the fluid. The greater the viscosity of the fluid, the
more difficult an object moves in the fluid. In a liquid, viscosity is produced by
the force of cohesion between molecules
liquid. Whereas in gas, viscosity arises as a result of collisions between gas
molecules. Viscosity occurs mainly because of the interaction between liquid
molecules.

1.2 Purpose

SMK NEGERI 2 CILEGON 3

1. study the principles, functions, and workings of the equipment used in the
manufacture of liquids.
2. Improve the strengthening of knowledge and skills as a provision to enter
the world of work.
3. have a foresight about how the system works in the company and get work
experience.

1.3 Scope
In the practicum this time involves between them
1. Mentor : Mrs. Khuzaenah
2. Students : Fahmi idris,Iksal ajrial,Amelia,Rully

1.4 Date and Plate

The time and place of implementation of this practice was carried out in the
laboratory of SMK Negeri 2 Cilegon. As for the implementation time of the
practice carried out on July 18, 2017.

DISCUSSION

2.1 Definition
Liquid is a substance or object that has a fixed volume but its shape changes
according to the place (container). Example; gasoline in a bottle, syrup in a glass,
etc.

2.2 Tools/Materials
2.2.1 Tools
1. 5ml measuring pipette
2. Ball pipette
3. Stirring rod
4. Spray bottle
5. Measuring 50ml gray
6. Beaker glass
7. Pipette drops
8. Suction paper
2.2.2 Materials
1. Aquades
2. 2N NaOH Solution

2.3 Procedure

SMK NEGERI 2 CILEGON 6

1. the amount of 2N NAOH solution that must be piped using the formula

v1 × n1 = v2 × n2

2. prepare tools and materials to make a liquid solution

3. Prepare a measuring flask of 50 ml contents and 1/3 distilled water

4. pipette of 2N NAOH solution as much as 0.5 ml

5. move it into a volumetric flask (straight slant / pipette position)

6. Add distilled water to the border mark

7. add distilled water to a beaker

8. add more distilled water using a pipette to the tera line (bottom miniskus).

9. show the results of the work to the instructor

10. cover the pumpkin, shake 3 to 10 times

11. write down the name of the substance and the concentration of the solution

that has been made.

2.4 Problem

The problem experienced in this practicum is only piping, that is, we are
crushed to cheat carefully.

BAB III

CLOSING

4.1 Conclusion

In the practicum of making this liquid the NaOH 0.02 N hydroxide is 50 ml

from the 2N NaOH solution. And the volume of concentrated solution used is 0.5
ml.

4.2 Suggestion

1. Every laboratory equipment should always be clean and tidy

2. Laboratory users should always use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
