ABSTRACT
This report discusses the summer training program at railway Carriage Workshop, jodhpur
during the period of 45 days from 20th May 2019 to 6th July 2019. It states briefly about
the Indian Railways and the Carriages used in the Indian Railways. It shows a brief
background about the place of training. It mentions some facts about the department that
was responsible for the training program. The report describes the process of production
overhauling of Railway Carriages, working and all about the parts of carriages. It also
describes about the different sections in Railway Carriage Workshop and about all the
processes carried out in different shops. It also mentions about the different specifications
of the different parts.
