Budgeting ‐ Preparation of Budget in two stages for any engagement
Deal Term Budgeting: Based upon the initial pricing submitting. This is done
when the contract is signed owing to lack of any performance trends of the
same.
Annual Budget: Based on the current scenario and the past performance of
the engagement.
Monthly & Quarterly Revenue and Margin Forecast
Providing Revenue and Margin Projections for the account(s) on monthly,
quarterly and yearly basis.
Providing appropriate reasoning for the variance in projections from the
budget and the actuals respectively.
Management Reporting
Year to date actual financial performance of a deal is measured against its
budget on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
Analysis and highlighting of cost overrun, any open issues, timelines and bills
receivables.
Billing, Cost Controls & Approvals.
Ensuring timely and accurate billing according to the contracts of engagement.
Ensuring that all the cost approvals to be within the budget.
Controlling cost to ensure the margin targets for the year.
MIS & Reporting.
Keeping the track of the third party expenses, capital expenses, travels, FPE
Headcount, budget vs. actuals, projections etc.
Presenting and discussing the reports with the sales & delivery functions to
help them all the essential matrix and elements of the accounts.
Ensuring and approving the billing models i.e., time & material, device basis,
ARC/RRC based etc. as requested by the customers.
